El Guadalajara

suggested we try it and we were surprised by the amount of food we got. The chili verde is so spicy .yumm mushroom pico d gallo.

We were staying across the street and decided to walk here instead of driving somewhere else. We were the only customers in the restaurant, though there were a few in the bar area.
The service was quick, the server was friendly. The chips and salsa, bean dip, and mushroom salsa were al good. As was our corona that was served in ice cold glasses, which is perfect!
My husband had the Guadalajara burrito which was quite large. He said it was really good and the sauce that was on it had a nice flavor. I had cheese enchiladas and they were good as any I get in Bakersfield.
We would come back again if in to area again.

It tastes like they didn’t even try. Salsa bland, chips cold and stale. Margaritas watery. Carne Asada very bland and bean tasteless and runny. We will not be coming back.

We stopped here while camping at Fort Townsend to warm up and get out of the rain. What a little gem this place is. Awesome salsa with the chips, had a bit of a kick. My chicken tacos were amazing, just the right amount of cilantro in them. I normally do not like enchiladas and tried my daughter’s and they were very good as well. Great beans and rice too. Definitely would visit again as we visit port townsend several times a year.

Not great. Had nachos with carnitas — didn’t eat most of it, just the chips around the edge. The carnitas was old and flavorless. The whole dish was contaminated with the bland, lackluster taste of unseasoned meat, and the refried beans were extremely runny. Luckily the pre-​meal chips and salsa did the job of filling me up. On a good note, the water was nice and cold, and my glass didn’t stay empty very long. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was nice.

I was there on February 28, 2015. Plates were hot, food was cold. Had the chile rellenos. Didn’t finish the meal, it was that bad.

Best chile Rellanos I have ever had. The beans were very authentic. Service was wonderful. I would come back

What a great find! Drinks: Double margaritas come as mixed drinks with 2^nd tequila shot on the side. With your chips, salsa, bean dip they have a very flavorful chopped mushroom, Chile, onion mixture that is even good mixed in with meal items. Best Chile Relleno, absolutely delicious, the carnetas was shredded and so flavorful alone or in my corn tortilla with the mushroom app. If your in Port Townsend make a point to find this place an have a great meal.

Worth the short drive off the main drag of Water street. Friendly service, great chips & salsa & the marinated pork enchalada was sooo good!

I was greeted & seated right away. Very friendly service, great chips & salsa. I ordered the Carne adobada ($ 13.50). Not only was the pork seasoned wonderfully, but even the rice & beans tasted great. They were generous with the portions and the toppings (sour cream & guac). I had enough left overs for another meal. Can’t wait to go back. Plenty of seating, too.

New lunch menu is well priced and varied. Had a great meal. I enjoyed the chips salsa bean dip and mushroom Pico Gallo for starters which satisfied no doubt… we will lunch here often.

We wanted to try this new restaurant in town and with family while they were in town. The restaurant’s atmosphere was pleasant and clean. Chips and salsa, a variety to choose from were good. The mushroom salsa is my favorite! Main dishes were well presented and enjoyable. My husband said the Margarita’s were also tasty and fairly priced.
The service was top notch! Friendly and efficient. Food came quickly even though the restaurant was full of diners. The owner came by our table to ensure we were happy and we were!
We will return soon.

Loving this new Mexican restaurant. I was surprised to have another Mexican food option in port townsend but tried it a few times and have been back a handful of times.
I end up craving the guadalajara burrito with shredded beef and LOVE the mushroom salsa. It’s different and not to mention my other half hates mushrooms so it’s always just for me.

Wow! Fantastic restaurant! The drinks were wonderful and the food original & great. Truly homemade, the kitchen is open & clean. Tried several of the menu items & the were universally excellent. You won’t be disappointed.

Good service, very fresh ingredients, we will be back. 3 very good salsas with fresh chips… mushroom cilantro salsa is very good
