Over priced paint. Benjamin Moore paint at least 10 dollars more per gallon than other outlets in western Washington. Rude, unprofessional staff. Very poor service.

Excellent! Doug and Chris were friendly, helpful and patient as I repeatedly visited the store to make my color decisions. I found that Regal Select and Aura paints worked very well for me. I will return as I start painting other rooms in my home.

It isn’t fair to give this place a lower rating just because one particular rep is unhelpful. The Port Townsend store is good, and one rep who’s been there for some time is really great. That said, if you happen to get the other guy, you’re outta luck. We were planning to pay the extra money to use them for the exterior paint of our house, ADU and garage, but after the unwillingness to help mix a tester color and update it(at $ 25 per quart), we will not be coming back. The rep was rude and unhelpful in two of our interactions. Again, normally we receive good service and products so it’s worth trying, maybe you’ll get the helpful knowledgeable guy. The experience was disappointing enough that we won’t be coming back for some time. I headed to Henry’s Hardware and they gladly helped me out using the quart of paint from Peninsula Paint Co. Henry’s will get our business for this large project and our projects in the foreseeable future.
