If I could give no stars I would. This place was disgusting!!! The floor was nasty dirty carpet & the bathrooms were filthy! The food tasted like it had been over nuked in a microwave!!! Soggy calamari, salty Ritz cracker on top of previously frozen seafood was supposed to be a seafood casserole and a cold old dry baked potato… Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! I wouldn’t eat here again if it was free.

Good food. Awesome waiters! The design is a little outdated and the many could have more choices!

My husband and I have enjoyed Issacs for many years. We have found the food, service & prices to be excellent. We usually get seafood and every meal has been consistently good. We have always enjoyed good service. The view is really nice overlooking the harbor.

What can I say, when first opened was great but over the years just went downhill. Took my cousins from down south here and when the server heard their drawl we were rushed and food was just ok. Being a local I was embarrassed by how we were treated so won’t be going back. No excuse for rudeness!

Amazed at all the negative words here. We went for a Saturday lunch and the place was completely packed! Excellent service and a table on the side dining area. I had the shrimp and scallop fettuccini and it was simply spectacular, with seven sea scallops and eight superbly sized shrimp, it was quite the place for $ 13.95! They were also as fresh as you could get as well. This was really a magnificent meal and the bread rolls were superb as well. Truly a great place for lunch with excellent prices and very comfortable surroundings.

Have been coming here for years. Awesome food! I had the fish and chips delicious! Fish was not at all greasy. My husband had the lobster fantasy there wasn’t anything left on his plate. The waitress was very nice and new all the specials ! We come here every year when we visit our family. You would never get this quality of seafood in California. See you next year Issac’s

I had a nice lunch here last Saturday, I went with the Waterfront Seafood Medley consisting of schrod(haddock), scallops, and shrimp. Perfect. The baked potato was a bit overcooked and dry, squash pureed which was ok but I prefer mashed or chunked for more texture. They have locally brewed Mayflower pale ale which work well with the meal. Yeah the place might be a bit date but I really didn’t notice(responding to other reviews) since I was seated facing the harbor but is has survived when others founded about the same time such as McGrath’s and 1620’s have not. While others here have complained that the staff is old — the hostess was in her early 20s, the wait staff mostly in the 30s though our waitress was in the 60s but attentive. I’m 55 and most of the diners were older than me, mainly older women. The view is good — the Mayflower is about 500– 600′ away but could be better if there weren’t a half dozen power lines right in front of the windows. I would certainly return.

I had a very delicious New England clam chowder. We are a stones throw away from the Mayflower so the ambience here is very good. The staff are attentive and friendly.

Nice view from the restaurant. Loved the clam chowder and scallops. Wide range of beer selection. Ambiance is great for a nice candle light dinner.

Food was ok. Everyone in the place was 65+. Service was slow. View was nice. Not a great kids menu.

My fiancé and I had a great meal here last night We shared a caprese salad as an appetizer, that was great. Then I ordered the Veal Piccatta and he had the steak tip special. The food was great but the portions were much bigger than expected. The bartender insisted we get 2 meals and not 1. The way the size was explained it sounded smaller. We definitely had a lot of left overs. Despite too much food. the dishes were full of flavor and we will be back!

It was my first time in Plymouth. Stopped here for lunch. I got the lobster roll with a baked potato… It was $ 16.95 and not that grand. I think it could be equivalent to McDonald’s lobster roll… It had no real flavor… And wasn’t very filling. My waitress was nice but disappeared after we had our food and we were ready to keep exploring Plymouth. I ate on the deck and had a great view of the harbor.

On July 6, our family had a reunion at your restaurant. The service was ok but the food was absolutely TERRIBLE!!’. What was to be lobster in a salad was left over scraps!!! My husband called the restaurant to let them how dissatisfied we were about the meal & he was told some one would get Back to him and NO one called. Just a tourist trap

Really disappointed in this place especially after our tour bus driver just raved about it. I ordered the stuffed shrimp and the menu described it has having a Ritz cracker topping. The shrimp was not stuffed and I think they put half a box of cracker on top. Absolutely no flavor. My sides were just as bad. Potato was over cooked and the slaw was bland. The clam chowder was basically a gravy. Service was just ok. Overall the location was nice, but was not impressed at all.

Isaac’s, is a very spectacular restaurant, not in design. But in the quality of food and service. The platters are huge and delicious, I recommend you going there.

The average age of clientele is retired. I’ve always had a grumpy old lady for a server. Substituting something is basically a crime. Great views though

5 Star restaurant. Beautiful views from almost every seat in the restaurant. Wonderful service from the staff and most important the food is amazing. Had the Sunday Special — prime rib, broccoli stuffed baked potatoes and two stuffed shrimp. Prime cooked to perfection. Prices excellent for what you get. Partner had broiled swordfish — the thickest piece I have ever seen offered. Would gladly return over and over. Recommend gladly. Nancy B

Went to Isaacs for Easter this year. The restaurant had specified dining times. Our seating was for 3:30 pm. We arrived at 3:15 and finally sat down at 4 pm. Where we promptly waited another 20 minutes for a waitress, who had to be located. Not sure how long we would have waited if we did not ask for a server Come to find out the restaurant accommodated a party without a reservation before us. Thus our party suffered with a late seating and poor service from a overbooked waitress. I do not blame the waitress but the management. Will not be back. Why require reservations on special occasions when you can receive a table without one. I only received and explanation after-complaining Very unhappy patron

This place must ride on a reputation of a bygone era, using waterfront view as their only draw. 1980’s décor, dark and dismal with lots of brass banisters and mirrors. Chairs were covered with dust and stained. You’ll get a whiff of stale air when you walk out of the elevator. Waitress was attentive and personable but bus boy had on slouchy, dirty pants. Turned my stomach to think of eating anything from the kitchen if the dining room was this filthy. Geriatric crowd with food that’s diner quality at best. I paid $ 16 for a tiny«lobster roll» sandwich and was disappointed that they used imitation lobster on toasted Wonder bread. What a rip off. We came on a Monday for lunch, so there weren’t too many other places open. Would not return.
