Dangelos

D’Angelos recently «updated» their menu choices and it has frankly slowed down the delivery of said meals! While our was tasy today it was very (read excessively) juicy and hard to handle. Their napkins wouldn’t wipe spit off of an ant if needed.

Today i went to Dangelos in Plymouth, Samoset st. First i made my order Online and ordered a Great Divide Italian sub with topics one specifically bacon and a cheeseburger Lrg sub. All the topings on the great divide did not cost any extra (online) this included the bacon. Usually i pay online but i decided to order and pay within the store. When i got to Dangelos i was told the price was 24.74, when online it was 20.91, its almost 4 dollars higher!!! I told the guy what the price was online and that i had been ordering the same thing for a great while now, never had it been 24.74 — he said it must be the bacon, but i said that on their site the bacon did not cost extra, and i would definitly not have ordered bacon if it was 4 bucks more thats outrageous! He said there was nothing he could do that it must be a computer error and he refused to lower the price to what it was online, (which i always buy for that amount if you pay online then just pick up your food). … I felt really cheated out of my money and this is the last time ill be going back.
The time before this, my order being the same — the people in the store did not even have my order ready on time even though i ordered hours in advance. So the guy began making my italian behind the counter and when he was finished asked how many slices did i want, so i asked for four, he then cut his hand with the knife mistakenly; bleeding on the sub and counter, he went to the back room to clean up, thankfully he was ok. The girl that was working with him, then proceeds to finish the sub, THATS RIGHT! FINISH THE BLOODY dripped on italian sub. I said «are you really going to keep making that» she says «its still good, nothing got on it», I obviously refused to have the sub telling her to make another ‚
It seems rediculous these people, the food is okay, not the greatest subs ive had by far, they skimp on the insides of subs and the subs are expensive imo.
Ive had problems at the Colony Plymouth ma Dangelos as well. Basically Im just stearing clear of their poor customer treatment and as of today scams.
