Ew. Yuck. Brought my 3 year old here for a quick lunch and really regretted it. Every single thing we ordered was beyond awful. The tortellini salad was mushy and pasty like it had been sitting in the case for days… The chicken parm was hard, dry and depressing(think: the turkey carving scene from National Lampoon’s Christmas) and the bread chewy after being microwaved(microwaved!). Also ordered a linguisa roll or whatever it was and that was a mistake too. Tasteless.(Presumably because we did NOT have it microwaved). Also the décor was reminiscent of something from the early 90’s. The walls were covered with spatterings of bleached-from-the-fluorescent-lights ratty faded sports prints plus a random Thomas Kinkade poster. All in all will never return and hopefully this review can spare some other poor unsuspecting out-of-towner from making the same mistake.

Amazing pulled pork! I pop in all the time to grab calzones too, they are made with real dough too not that thin pizza dough. You gotta give it a try.

This place is amazing. I have been going there since I was in high school. The food is absolutely amazing, from the pulled pork to the sausage to the calzones. On top of their amazing lunch menu they have an amazing catering menu. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I worked there when I was in college and was treated better than any other job I ever had. When you work there you aren’t an employee you’re family. I miss this place and you should definitely go check it out.

It’s basically a sandwich shop. I had the roast pork sandwich, which was excellent. It is tender pulled pork with a thin savory sauce served on a good roll. Have it with grilled onions and peppers and eat at the picnic tables plopped in the parking lot. Recommended.

Linguica rolls and mud square to die for. ask for the rolls heated. I wish they had better hours though as I don’t usually wake up until they’ve closed. Friendly funny staff. Linguica rolls aaaaahhhh

The owner of this place has absolutely no idea how to run a business. He is extremely rude and arrogant to his customers. If you order a sandwich and they don’t have the certain meat already sliced at the sandwich counter, they won’t slice it for you. You have to choose from what they have sliced already. Really?! I have never heard of this before. They also treat their employees terribly. Its no surprise that they always have a help wanted sign in their window. I gave this place many chances but I will not be back! There are plenty of other customer friendly places to visit. Owner take note: you are a sad excuse for a businessman.

We had an event catered & their platters were great. We go there for lunch often. Food is always good. Staff could be friendlier. That is why I put 4 stars instead of 5.

Great good for lunch or take home dinners. You won’t be disappointed. This is the best deli in Plymouth. I have been here multiple times and everyone working does a grey job and makes you feel welcome.

Consistently very good take-out food. The calzones are great. I had a Reuben yesterday that was terrific. They have what appear to be home made sausages — excellent. The gentleman who appears to be either the owner or the manager — he resembles Ernest Borgnine, imo — has consistently treated me in a condescending and nasty manner. Once he dressed me down for using 4 pennies from the«leave a penny, take a penny» dish to make it so HE didn’t have to make change for me when I paid a $ 10.04 bill. The last time I was there I got scolded for ordering something additional from him after he’d already passed my initial order off to one of his underlings. This last time was nasty enough that I won’t be returning.

This is a «meh» place for me. I don’t find the service all that great. The food is pretty standard. They seem nice enough, but if you want a great sandwich I suggest blue blinds in town.

I come here mostly for the linguica rolls and baked goods. Very good. They close early.

Oh Clyde’s. Where do I begin. I will say the biggest«con» is that the hours are awful and very subject to change. The worst feeling is driving by after work and salivating at the thought of getting something from there but knowing it is closed. We can usually count on them to be open during lunch and that’s what we aim for. By lunch, I mean noon, not a later lunch because you might be out of luck. I enjoy getting«custom» subs from there and typically will grab a small container of their fantastic potato salad as well. The brownies they have on the counter near the register are awesome and a definite treat. It’s a big expensive compared to, say, a «chain» sub shop but the ingredients are fresh and that’s definitely worth a few extra bucks.

As a restaurant, this place is so so. One of the few establishments I have been too that blatantly microwaves food right in front of you. Hey guys, I can microwave left overs at my house, I come here too experience fresh food. That said, their Deli is boar’s head and has a good selection, but what place that advertises themselves as a Deli does not? Perry’s up the street has a better deli. Their cold subs are very good, but lack any sort of creativity, they are boring and the flavors can be achieved by stuffing a handful of various deli in your mouth, because that is exactly what their deli sandwiches are. They have no «special» twist to them, they do not really have a signature deli sandwich. Their checkout line is beyond confusing, you physically have to a 180 to check out after your microwaved food was freshly prepared for you. In my opinion, for the«quick» lunch, Kingston House of Pizza up the street offers a better selection, their food is made fresh, not microwaved, and they have a better selection. Drive a mile the other direction towards Plymouth Center and you’ll run into about 50 places that offer better and fresher lunch experience.

LOVE this place. I’ve been going there as long as i could remember. I haven’t tried everything, but all the things i have tried have always been delicious. The linguica rolls are wicked good. Bread is very soft and awesomely chewy, and the linguica itself is perfectly seasoned. Great spice and flavor. They have a chicken cordon bleu roll and its amazing. Nice soft croissant, melted swiss cheese, breaded chicken, and a nice slice of ham. SOGOOD. Clyde’s has specialty subs, all made with Boars Head deli meat. I love the Smokehouse, which has«Mesquite Turkey Breast, Glouster Cheddar, Lettuce, Tomato &BBQ Sauce».delicious! Along with the specialty subs, are subs you would usually get in a deli; roast beef, chicken salad(delicious!) tuna, turkey, etc etc. But the BEST thing to get at Clyde’s? The roast pork sub(as their site says, «their specialty.» The roast pork is so moist and perfectly cooked. You def. do NOT need to get any condiments on this, as it tastes perfect without anything on it. Actually, get onions and peppers on it! haha. As another Unilocaler said, Clyde’s provides catering. Almost everything in the store is available. My sister is having a relatively small wedding, and we are having Clyde’s cater. It is extremely well priced! You would think it would be a lot more for the quality of the food you are getting!

We had hot sandwiches; I had the Turkey Club on sourdough, hubby had hot Pastrami on a sub roll. My club was very good, nicely toasted, well balanced, had a TON of turkey. The pastrami was good, a little fatty but not too salty as some can be. the staff was cheerful and nice, but seemed a little confused or something; felt like maybe the boss was out & they were left to their own devices. the store feels like it needs some redecorating & reorganizing, feels a bit thrown together. i wasn’t impressed by the deli meat counter, its pretty much all the same stuff that Stop & Shop has for cheaper. However, the cold homemade salads looked very appetizing, and they had some very interesting fresh bread items. there are four tables inside with napkins & salt+pepper, and 5 picnic tables outside, although the inside tables felt a bit awkward to eat at, as they were kind of right in the middle of the store between the three counters, not very cozy. Overall, I would say that Clyde’s is a great place to grab a quick lunch, especially if you are taking it out. The sandwiches are well-wrapped, and there are several scenic places nearby to sit and eat a pleasant lunch.

Everything is always very fresh and tasty here. Great sandwiches(Boar’s Head meats/homemade salads, etc. on fresh rolls(they might make them here, not sure), hot subs, salads, homemade calzones, homemade Italian favorites; you get the idea. Nice family-owned and operated deli. *Pretty much everything is «made on the premise», which is cool.* They also offer catering. If I was having a big party, I would order from them in a second.(Their prices are super reasonable, especially for the homemade/delish factor.) Just a heads-up, tho, this isn’t one of those«fancy» lunch places. It’s a deli. Yup, this is one of those«don’t judge a book by its cover» places. Don’t get me wrong; it’s a nice deli, clean, bright, well-organized, but it just looks like it needs a bit of a décor overhaul/update. Kinda«no-frills», but who cares? The thing that really cracks me up is that there are a few picnic tables outside, so if it’s a nice day, you can have your lunch while gazing at… the used car lot next door. I don’t mean that as mean! It’s always good to take in some sunshine while enjoying your yummy lunch from Clyde’s, but it’s just not the most scenic part of town. Order your food, and drive 5 minutes to the water.
