Great place for food and drinks. I had a frozen wildberry daiquiri that was delicious and the lobster Mac and cheese was very good. Pizza was awesome as well.

This place had the best lobster roll and raw oysters I’ve ever had. My friend and I came to Plymouth for Thanksgiving. There weren’t many choices at the time so we went to this place. We ordered a dozen of raw oysters and two lobster rolls. Raw oysters were absolutely fresh and sweet. Even my friend, who didn’t like eating raw oysters, tried some and said they were good. The lobster rolls were stuffed by pure lobster meat. I’ve had lobster rolls at many other places and this restaurant had the best lobster roll so far. I had to use a fork to eat the lobster meat on the top before I was able to grab the whole thing. If I were to come back to Plymouth, I would definitely go to this restaurant again.

Great for warm summer nights when they have a reggae band playing. Chowder is epic! All other food is meh at best, and they have measured liquor pouring so cocktails are meh as well

Excellent service, great food, awesome atmosphere! I brought a group of 47 people to the CabbyShack for a team dinner during a competition trip. From the initial phase of placing our reservation and arranging for pre-orders of our meals to the great and very timely food to the ease of checking out on 22 separate bills — we were very impressed! We organize up to 12 team dinners each season and this was definitely one of our best experiences ever. Kelsey is a fantastic events manager and we look forward to working with her again next year.

It’s the kind of place you go to if you’d like to sit on the water and have a couple of drinks. You kind of know going in that the food isn’t the star here. Lots of fried fish, clam chowder… bla bla bla. Drink lots of beer and you’ll be okay.

The«Chowdah» was great, the lobster roll(especially for $ 21.98) sucked. All rubbery claws, price of wilted lettuce and very, very, very greasy onion rings — simply inedible. Pass on this overpriced place unless You just stop for the«Chowdah»

This place has amazing clam Chowder. But most other food is just so so. They charged us extra $ 2 for sharing a freaking lobster roll(does not even taste good) which I think is absolutely ridiculous!!! I will probably not revisit!!!

The gorgonzola walnut chicken salad is to die for and I’ve been known to make a trip there just for that. My boyfriend is in love with the fish tacos here and says they’re the best around. However, a few times when we’ve visited we’ve had some issues with the wait staff. Once we were left completely unattended after being seated for well over a half hour. No one even came by to get our drink order. The only reason we hadn’t noticed the time was that it happened to be our second date and we were so caught up in chatting that it hadn’t dawned on us. Turns out our waitress had a large party and was paying all her attention to where the big tip was to be had. Eventually we were passed off to a different server and all was right with the world. Another time when we went, we arrived a couple hours before closing time, but the restaurant was kind of dead, as it was a week night and we got the vibe that the cook was being a bit lazy. It seemed that they had cooked the chicken for my salad on the same grill as my boyfriend’s fish, without any cleaning between meals. So my chicken came out tasting of fish. Needless to say it did NOT sit well. Overall I think the food here is great and that they may just have been having a couple of off nights. I would still recommend them to anyone and would definitely go back again.

We had to send back the lobster roll for tasting a bit too much of sewage for our taste, and the tuna burger which replaced it came on dry, awful buns(and lacked any sauce, which was unexpected). On the bright side: the drinks were great and so were the onion rings. The chicken tenders were also quite satisfactory

We wanted to like it. Even asked a local at the Plymouth Plantation where to eat with a family. They said here. Again we wanted to like it but the FLiES. You have to fight eating your food through the flies. Windows wide open with no screens. Counted 7 at one time on the table in a landed position. Didn’t count the ones hovering above us. Arm waving was annoying. Had clam chowder and lobster. Wanted to try their best but had to ask for lemons. Had to ask for napkins. And then our Childs French fries were twice cooked. Had that sopping oil inside and crisp in the outside. Asked for a fresh batch. The flies.

What a great spot on the water. We came here for a little lunch and didn’t want to spent a ton of money like most of the places on the water. This place was DELICIOUS!!! The crab cake was the best we ever had. Then I had the chicken sandwich with a side salad and both, awesome! Great friendly staff as well… Just overall great day! If you are looking for a place on the water, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced. You have found it here!

Food was excellent. Appetizer came right away(before we ordered main meal). I ordered the raw bar sampler(forget the exact name) and it was high quality sea food. Service was excellent too as the waitress and chef accommodated for my picky little sister and didn’t add any charge

Best chowder ever. So yummy. The lobster roll was definitely not the best i ever had. Thumbs down. My lunchmates both enjoyed the fried shrimp. Our server was friendly and the view was gorgeous

I liked it here! Yes, it’s touristy. But yes! It has a great view of the water. A view of the water makes everything better. I liked this place so much we came here twice during our short visit to Plymouth. The first time, I ordered a 2lb lobster and a rum drink that was served in a little plastic bucket. Man, nothing makes you feel like you’re on vacation than drinking rum in a bucket! The lobster was a beast and totally satisfying. Also, +1 to the whole-belly clams. The 2nd time, I ordered the lobster scampi. The lobster: pasta ratio was awesome, as in, there was more lobster than pasta. The lobster came riding the pasta like a king on a throne. It was scrumptious. Oh, and the clam chowder was really, really good. Beware, it comes with a pool of butter floating on top… Service is super, place gets super busy.

We stopped here on a Friday night after work to grab something to eat. What drew us to the place was it’s great view of the water. We were seated on the outside deck at a high top table, which was perfect. The menu mentioned«award winning clam chowder.» When the waitress came back I asked her about it and she said, «It has won so many awards, it’s ridiculous.» Okay, so I’ll have a cup please. My friend also ordered a cup. Not five minutes later two mugs of what I thought were whipped marshmallows arrived to our table. What is this? Oh. The award winning clam chowder. It was so thick, it reminded me of wall paper paste. I mean. THICK. It had no flavor except for potato and flour. Did I mention it was thick? You could turn your spoon over and it clung to the spoon. Very little clam in the chowder. Living in Boston, I have had many chowders that are much better. I ordered the lobster roll. Huge chunks of lobster, which was great! However, again there was no flavor. Nothing. It did have celery mixed into the mayo. It was«meh» overall. Which was disappointing. The cesar salad I ordered was nothing to write home about. Wilted lettuce and store bought dressing. The wait staff was great, if not too quick to provide service. Hustle and turn the tables. I would go back again for only for drinks — eat somewhere else.

This place was shockingly good. We stared with ceaser salads, which were very bad(and I was super worried, because the place looked like it would have bad food). They were clearly the low-end pre-packaged salad fixings you’d get at a cafeteria. I had a fish sandwich with onion rings, both if which were very good. After the salads I was expecting those panko coated, pre-fried, frozen things and I was super surprised to get something tasty! Both were light and crispy. The fish was thick and meaty, and it wasn’t over cooked. My girlfriend had the seafood Newburg, which was wonderful. The scallops in particular were cooked perfectly, and the lobster ravioli had real lobster in it(not the one you usually get with the creamy purée). I’ll definitely go back, I just won’t get the salad :)

Second visit. Both times we sat out on the patio overlooking the harbor. Food is good. I really like the«chow day» and the cape cod Reuben. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. The music in the background adds to the fun. The perfect style and tone for the place.

The Clam Chowder is worth a try. I recall having a better cup of chowder elsewhere(with more clam in it) but everyone likes their chowder a bit differently. But, definitely worth a try! See what you think! The Shaacko Tacos(fish tacos) are delicious. You also get 3 whopping tortillas filled with a tangy, pickly slaw, lightly battered white fish, and a sweet chipotle mayo sauce. Generally one of those three ingredients MAKES a fish taco for me and this time around the slaw AND succulent, melt-in-your-mouth fish did it. I’ll be back for these tacos. The French Fries are delicious, thin, crispy classics lightly tossed in Old Bay Seasoning. Solid french fries.
