This new Starbucks is great. Nice outdoor seating. Nice interior décor. And the coffee is a good and consistent as usual.

Spacious Starbucks location. Definitely busy & full of activity. Staff is very friendly & helpful. I eyed a Teavana passion iced-tea mixed with strawberry juice(substituted instead of water) mixed with lemonade that another customer ordered an hour prior to ordering. The staff automatically remembered & shared that they had never heard of that blend. I appreciated their efforts & the drink looked exactly like the other customers & tasted even better! I’ll definitely be making future trips to this location to catch up on work & of course to order another Tea-vana speciality!

This location is always clean, fully stocked, and has a great team of friendly and hospitable people. I never feel gross walking in here like other locations, the atmosphere is not suffocating at all. With their ample seating I always find a table to sit down and enjoy my coffee. Karlee was a great help, stopping her work flow to help me with getting done whole milk for my iced coffee. A very genial person!

Starbucks is Starbucks. Part of the attraction is that no matter where you go you will get a consistent drink. That being said this location has to have the slowest service of any Starbucks i’ve visited. Not that the staff aren’t friendly, but they just move at a snails pace all the time. Even when you order online, expect to wait a few minutes longer than normal.

I went here to catch up with a friend for coffee today. The space inside this Starbucks has a nice ambiance and it was a decent amount of space inside. I saw people studying at large tables. I got a Mocha Frappucino and it was pretty good. Had enough of the Mocha to feel that caffeine kick and enough sugar to balance it out. There was plenty of outdoor seating with shade, so my friend and I sat there and talked. Parking was not too bad, since we were there on a weekday afternoon. It is only street parking, and I was able to find a spot — may be harder at a busier time of day, though. I am knocking off 2 stars because I was here with my bf two nights ago about 20 minutes before closing, and the barista kicked us out. We wanted to look at their mugs and were forced to leave after being inside for less than a minute. Overall, this is a nice Starbucks that will hopefully bring more business to Downtown Pleasanton — but they do need to be more accomodating and friendly to guests during the hour before closing time.

Have only been serving wine here for a couple of months. Stop by about once a week for a sauvignon blanc, $ 8.00. The chardonnay is $ 10.00. Monday I noticed both wines had been raised by $ 2.00. Asked 2 different employees why. BOTH told me there had been no increase, these are the prices they’ve been since the beginning. Checked my credit card statement, been paying $ 8.00. Why the cover up folks? The staff has always been very pleasant, especially Carleigh but… this was a big turn off.

Nicer and usually quieter than other Starbucks. I wish, I wish someone would adjust the double doors facing Rose Street so they don’t slam. This is the only Starbucks nearby that serves wine in the evenings, afaik. A really nice touch! Here’s a profound mystery that will keep you awake at night: When you call customer service for your Starbucks card(800−782−7282), why does their Hal 9000 always ask for your«sixteen-digit card number», AND the pound sign at the end? Must Hal require us humans to remind it when we are done entering our 16 digits, AFTER we have entered the 16th digit, every single time we hapless souls deign to interrupt its deep thought with pesky phone calls? Nonetheless, I applaud Hal for the foresight to plan for a world with up to 9,999,999,999,999,999 card-carrying caffeine cravers. I don’t know of another company that has actually planned for ten quadrillion customers. Do you?

Rude! Walked in at 732 on a Sunday to get a drink. I’ve been reading about this Starbucks and wanted to give it a try! When I walked in I looked at the sign that said they close at 8, so I figured I had just enough time to enjoy a drink… Man was I wrong! Walked up to order two glasses of wine and the man said ‘oh I’ll be there in a minute’. Tried to order these two glasses of wine at 735(yes, I looked at my watch) the man huffed and rolled his eyes and said ‘we stop serving alcohol at 730. We close soon’ I said ‘yea at 8 o’clock right?’ Ye said ‘uh yea soon’. I’m sorry it was 735 which means you still need to serve me. He was unbelievably rude! There is no sign suggesting they stop serving alcohol at anytime so how would I know. So after this I decided to order a steamed apple juice with caramel drizzle and some whip. He said oh a caramel apple spice? So then I explained what I meant and how people usually charge me(which is cheaper) he decided it was a good idea to fight with me and be very condescending. ‘Well the caramel will just fall to the bottom’ with an eye roll and a huff. Needless to say he made my drink. So we sat with almost 20 minutes to hang out before they closed. The rude man’s coworker made my drink and reminded me again that they closed soon, again! So I sat and started drinking my steamed Apple juice and the rude man started sweeping. He started to pick up every single chair and hit them together unnecessarily. Then he would look over at us and glare and look at his watch. So finally after 6 minutes of not enjoying my drink because of the rude ass Starbucks worker we left. As we were leaving a woman walked in who I’m sure had the same terrible experience! Hopefully next time I go back to try the evening Starbucks experience these two men won’t be working!!!

Starbucks is hands-down the best experience you will ever have. Their service is incredible and their drinks and food have me coming back time and time again. Starbucks has that kind of atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, and that is what it has come to be for me. Sipping my grande vanilla bean frapuccino with java chips and three pumps of peppermint is like sipping heaven in a cup. As a gold member at Starbucks myself, I can wholeheartedly say that every star, every sip, every dollar is worth it for the pure happiness and rush of the Starbucks experience.

Worse attitude ever from a none busy cashier, we cannot wait for Pete’s to open! Sorry this is my first negative review but seriously pound a triple espresso before you start your shift!

I know it’s Starbucks but not all Starbucks are created equal K?! I’ve come at several different times of day and I have to comment this is the friendliest and most efficient location I have encountered in probably 10 years. It’s clean, the employees talk to you, are always smiling, and get your drink out in no time. I usually avoid the ones in my hometown just because I never know what type of service or drink I’ll end up with! Much love!

Starbucks is always my first choice to get my coffee everyday and any giving time. Mobile order apps is a plus. Since I always with my Dog Penny. But lately people work at night here in the new main Starbucks are very rude and lazy. There is no line and I have to wait for my mobile phone order. Plus They don’t ask you if you need a help. I like the morning and afternoon crew. Very helpful and nice.

Minutes from my workplace, it is nowhere near as busy as the drive-thru on Bernal Ave. I liked that they had a huge selection of healthy lunches and snacks; the brown rice and veggie salad was awesome! I’m a chai latte enthusiast so I’m not a hardcore Starbucks addict. Still it’s good to know I have a new spot to use my multiple Starbucks gift cards. I also like that I still made it to work early.

The one complaint I have about any Starbucks is the creamer/sugar stations are ALWAYS dirty! So, to my surprise, I complimented an employee, Nate, who was cleaning and sweeping! He asked what my favorite drink was and said he would remember the next time I came in … Way to go for great customer service Nate!!! (Weird…it won’t let me post.)

I try this location, some employee are not very friendly, their policy about to get a refill is Stupid for us who work on Downtown cause in order to get one you need to stay in the facility since I have work to do I’m not gonna hang out there and I don’t want to pay for a second cup!

OK I’m out for an afternoon stroll on a beautiful 82° fall day. Pleasanton has a brand-new Starbucks that I had yet to visit. So I decided to stop in and try one of their small lattes. I have a free birthday coffee and I asked Kalei, the cashier if she could check and see if it was still valid. She replied that if it was over a month ago it wouldn’t be any good and she had no way of determining it from my phone number. Ok. Without further ado I ordered my latte, moving to a table to wait. And wait. And wait. Now I know I’m not the only customer in there. so I wait until I notice a customer is picking up a drink and spot what could be my drink sitting there. I asked to nobody in particular if that was my latte? It was and I never would’ve known it. I said to Kalei ‘Oh I didn’t hear it because you didn’t get my name.’ She defended herself and then Nathan, behind the counter, chimed in referring to my being on the phone while waiting for my coffee as being so distracted, I didn’t hear my latte called out. Seriously?! Worse yet he continues his attitude as I exit the building. How embarrassing! Starbucks you’re just not that crowded that you couldn’t have gone an extra step… CONCLUSION: how I miss the old– fashioned, old-school days of customer service! An argument or snarky attitude with a side of coffee just goes down wrong! Pleasanton has too many wonderful coffee stops to choose from — we don’t need hoity-toity uppity attitude here. In the time it took to write this Starbucks has customer after customer after customer — they don’t need nor will they miss me. Hopefully this isn’t an indication of what’s happening to Pleasanton.

Short lines, nice and clean, and nice baristas! The downtown location is adorable, and I’ve never had trouble parking within a block(unless it’s the farmers market, but that’s only Saturday morning).

My friend and I checked out this new addition to downtown Pleasanton. Apparently in the evening they will also serve alcohol but I didn’t order any this time. It’s a nice space with free wi-fi and just like your typical Starbucks. Service was friendly and I didn’t have any problem getting my drink quickly. The only issue for me was it was really crowded in the afternoon and there were no seats left inside — even the communal table in the middle was filled. Free parking downtown is that not bad as long as you’re willing to walk a few blocks to this location.

You knew it was coming and good old downtown Pleasanton sold out and gave in to this new Starbucks location. Sure they’ve also got beer and wine but trying to park isn’t worth it. While it seems like a great location for downtown Pleasanton it really just adds a mess to downtown traffic. Good luck with this place but I’m still going local and going Tulley’s or Peet’s!
