My son sat on my daughter’s favorite pair of sunglasses and broke the hinge. They were a relatively inexpensive pair from Old Navy, but were discontinued, so we couldn’t replace. We checked a bunch of other places and nobody could repair them. Finally checked with Scott at Pleasanton Jewelers. He said he could fix them. He gave us an accurate time estimate, went to a thrift store to get a replacement hinge, removed the old hinge, melted the new one into the sunglasses. It’s as strong as new and my daughter was thrilled! Thanks so Scott. Highly recommend based on outcome and interactions with Scott. Great place.

Tiny and dim, sure, but you can definitely find some fun and nice stuff here! I spent quite a while going through everything — there’s costume jewelry, higher-end jewelry, pieces handmade by the owner, and even antique knick-knacks. The owner’s a pretty nice guy. Eccentric and rather quiet at first, but once he warms up a bit he’s very chatty and clearly loves what he does. I ended up leaving with a handful of gold-fill and sterling silver jewelry, for $ 40. Not bad!

I will admit this; I did not come in for the jewelry. I walked by one day, and saw some old Owl Drugstore bottles. That got me in immediately. They were out of my price range, being Owl Drugstore bottles, but his antique stock is amazing. From postcards, jewelry, bottles, Scott has it all. I have bought lots of antique local photos and other local items from him.(From Livermore, Haywards(yes), even Pleasanton, and all around this area!) He always asks very reasonable prices, and he is Incredibly nice. I would recommend coming here for jewelry and antiques! It is always fun to look!

Call on Sunday, the store was closed. Hear the message with cell phone #. For an appointment. Give it a try. Yes, the owner pick up the phone. I ask him if he do jewelry appraisal. He open up on his day off to let me come in to help me. He told me $ 90 dollars for an appraisal after he hear my story he only wants $ 10. What a generous man. …Scott thank you!!!

Stopped by to have a small questioned answered. the place is dirty and dingy and rather sad looking and large enough to hold less than the Brady Bunch during a submarine shoot. But theguy behind the counter was working with other person when I entered so I tried not to be intrusive and waited until I was approached. The guy said to me «if you are here to shop you are welcome, if you need assistance, it will be 15 minutes or more until you are helped.» I knew his approach was rather raw but actually I really appreciated it alot. I have never understood why when you are standing at a counter waiting for help and then the phone rings, why the customer on the phone gets serviced first. So, while I didn’t have 15 minutes to spare to wait in a dingy hallway, I did appreciate the candidness of the owner.

Scott is an AMAZING jeweler! He can do ANYTHING you ask and he’s a creative GENIUS on his own! So KNOWLEDGEABLE in so many different areas it’s INCREDIBLE and he has the best prices whether you are buying OR selling! He also has lay-away: He works with EVERYONE. I’ve been coming here for more than 10 years now and I recommend him to all. I love telling friends about«My Jeweler» ;) and I can’t do Main St without stopping in to see what new treasures he has on display. Did I mention the conversation is great, too? If you need something done — he’s your guy; if you’re in the market for something unique, antique or just ‘extra special’ — this is your place; and whether you’re in the market or in the area, it’s worth stopping in to take a look around!

This is without a doubt the best jewelry shop in Pleasanton. I’ve been a customer for many years. It is filled with hundreds of interesting objets trouve; it is a great place to find something truly special for a loved one. I once traded a carved stone piece for something Scott had in his shop, and then later — after I began to have second thoughts about the trade, Scott allowed me to trade it back again — no questions asked. This shop is a treasure. Check it out!
