This place had the best coffee. The roast was much smoother than it’s competitors. I am so sad to see that a Peet’s Coffee is going in instead. This will be a loss to the community. I wish the Tully’s brand was in every store. It was an amazing blend. Sad to see you go Tully’s!

I usually go for the green tea latte’s. It’s pretty good. Parking very difficult so point off but I do understand it’s downtown.

I’m sad that my fav coffee shop aka my remote office in downtown Pleasanton is closing today. Now the only thing that’s left is Starsux. Time to find a local coffee shop. This place had it all — location and as close to a coffee shop vibe that a suburb can have. For anyone that’s looking to open a laid-back coffee shop in downtown Pleasanton, this is your chance. I’d be the 1st one waiting at the door when you open.

After shopping at the Farmers’ Market, I stopped in at Tully’s to get a hot drink, I bought a beverage labeled as «Intense Dark Mocha», It was really good. I wasn’t happy that I was charged a tax for the drink, I don’t recall being charged tax on the drinks at Peet’s Coffee, maybe that’s why Tully’s will be closing it’s doors January 10, 2016 and replaced by a Peet’s Coffee. Seriously, I enjoyed having another option to coffee beverages, rather than huge chains. It’s sad to see Tully’s go. It doesn’t seem right, since regardless of time of day, any time I’ve been there it was always busy, especially in the summer. They have a corner store, with a large patio with seating out front.

This Tullys is now a Peet’s… So we swap one chain for another. No real news here and no change in rating.

My friend loves their coffee so she brought us here for a treat. I ordered the matcha tea… just matcha not a latte. It was really good! I wish more coffee shops offered just match. My husband had a vanilla latte with almond milk but did not like it at all. He took a few sips and threw it away. He felt like the vanilla had an artificial taste that did not go well with the almond milk. I would still recommend Tully’s but perhaps stick to the tried and true and don’t get anything over the top.

Seriously the best coffee house in town, I love the house espresso. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of space inside and a beautiful outside area facing Main Street. It is the perfect place to meet friends, chill or work!

Went here my first time, trying to get a good capp. Went and got one, drank it and realize it was not the best kind. The way they made the foam isn’t perfect, the expresso was being pulled way to long and it’s watery. Anyways its was practically a latte made. And very terrible expresso. And also the way they call the sizes of the drinks, really! this place isn’t starbucks. A grande isnt a medium.

Cute coffee shop. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was fairly busy. The service was great and very welcoming. We ordered a black coffee and it wasn’t bitter which it can be in most places. The bonus about this place is that it has toys to keeps the kiddos occupied while you have some coffee. Always a bonus in my book!

I work near by this place. The staff are friendly and if you go there more often like I did, they will know your name. I always get their«London Fog» and my boost drink which is White mocha with 4 shots and no whipped cream. Try their kale scones, it is the best. I only give them four star because their pricing would change every time I ordered the same drink.

I went here yesterday for the first time! While this is a chain coffeehouse, the quality of their drinks is enjoyable! Better than Starbucks which always tastes burnt and like jet fuel. Free wifi was a plus as I had a lot of work to get done, but what really got me was the kindness of one of the cashiers! She was patient with all the questions I had to ask(I am a barista myself and wanted the lowdown on their various drink specials), always had a smile, and made the experience truly worth it! Will definitely come back!

Three stars. This place is popular, cute, and the service is great. I ordered a grande caramel macchiato. There was a TON of foam. And caramel drizzled all over the top. It was served in a larger mug so it was a bit messy. Don’t get me wrong, the foam was good, but I digress. Frankly I felt like I ordered a caramel milk steamer… I didn’t taste the espresso at all, I didn’t have a «phenomenal espresso high». I would come back and order something a little more heavy duty to really get the espresso flavor… Their little baked goods are cute, it’s a good basic variety.

Cant give 5 Stars as some of the kids working just do NOT know how to make a Cappuccino. Your not alone. Most coffee houses dont. However I am a Cappuccino Snob having lived in Italy. They do get stars due to great offering of Carbs. That’s right Chocolate croissants, Morning buns. I should actually take a star away as its so bad for my waistline.

Elena is so friendly and helpful. Tully’s is that much better when she’s managing the café.

Tully’s pours a better coffee than anywhere else within a few blocks of the farmers market, unfortunately it’s just not great. I started meeting my father here when the place next door switched from hand made coffee to a machine and the quality dropped through the floor. I’d rate it right around Starbucks, perhaps a bit higher but not to Peet’s level. The regular coffee is a bit weak, but not too bitter. Like SB I have to order the coffee with a shot of espresso to wake it up a bit and counter the thinness of it. The cappuccino has consistently been a latte with less milk(in other words a latte). Sometimes they give me a huge head of foam, but that’s night right either. It should be more like the head on a Guinness and not the head on a root beer float.

While walking through the Downtown Pleasanton Farmer’s Market I was craving a warm drink since it was extremely cold outside and I wanted something different other than Starbuck’s. I saw Tully’s and there were tons of people sitting inside and outside so I figured they must have some stellar coffee beverages why not give it a try. Walking inside there were a lot of people sitting down, the line was long so I’m thinking this is a good sign. Their menu was quite large not only did they have coffee beverages, teas and such but they also make smoothies and milkshakes too. The pricing is along the lines of Starbucks but their customer service wasn’t up there. I ordered a caramel macchiato with extra caramel which is a drink I always order no matter what coffee shop I step foot in. I waited a good 15 minutes or so for my drink, that’s a bit too long if you ask me. That first sip was very disappointing my caramel macchiato did not have much of a caramel taste, it was hardly sweet and the drink itself was luke warm it wasn’t even hot! I just dealt with it and drank it because I needed coffee and something to somewhat warm me up. I was very disappointed in this place though and I doubt I will be coming back.

I love trying coffee places that aren’t Starbuckses or Peets, but Jesus! I ordered my go-to drink – a large iced vanilla latte – and it cost $ 5, about fifty cents more than it would have been at Panama Red(which has way better coffee, imho) or Starbucks. The coffee took a while to make and when it came, it wasn’t even particularly good. I was surprised, because the inside of Tully’s smells AMAZING — like dark, rich, roasting coffee. Which made me wonder: is the coffee, like the cake, a lie? Is there an industrial-size coffee airfreshener they hang over the door to lure the unsuspecting in? WHYWASN’T MYCOFFEETHATGOOD? I mean, it wasn’t bad coffee. But if you’re going to charge $ 5 for a large(and coffee larges are like fast food smalls), then it had better be some damn good coffee. I don’t want to pay that much for a «meh.» Also, I’m not even sure that I’d want to go here again. There are a lot of really weird and creepy-looking people bumming around outside. No, I think I’ll stick with Panama Red. They may have their fair share of weird and creepy people too, but at least their coffee is good.

Nice ambiance and music. Free wifi. I ordered their Espresso Bellacino but it was a lot more syrupy and milky than I like it. Also, way too sweet. I prefer more icey bits in my drink. Overall, I would definitely come here again to hang out and study, but I probably won’t order any more of their drinks.

Mehhh, I really wanted to like this place. My cousin, hubs, and I were strolling around downtown Pleasanton and we spotted Tully’s. Cousin and I are big Tully coffee fans(at least, we like the kcups ;) haha) so we decided to try some coffee. She wanted to go with a classic drip while I decided to get a mocha. I don’t know if it was an off day or what, but the drinks just weren’t great. Her drip tasted burned and my mocha was just meh. The staff seemed really irritated that we took more than a second to decide what we wanted(not that there was a line or anything. This was at 930am on a sunday morning for gosh sakes). There were a lot of tables and chairs to hang out on, so that’s a pro? But otherwise, meh.

This Tully’s is okay. I like the fact that they have a lot of tables and chairs. My drink was waaay too sweet and my friends was WAAAY too hot. Usually not super picky, but just wasn’t crazy about their drinks.

If the coffee weren’t so golly gee gosh darned good I’d give this place only one star! Like I said they make great coffee BUT the execution is less than stellar. Slower than a 95 year old woman with rheumatoid arthritis and hip dysplasia gives you a pretty good idea on how they crank out their drinks. Sorry but I think it’s a bad idea to put a newbie at the coffee bar while the line gets longer and longer. Oh and to the European couple who were at my hip, you’re in America now… WENEEDSPACE! If they added a drive-thru then I’d be happy but even then I don’t think they could handle the traffic. Sad.
