We order food from Spartans all the time, we are in the salon upstairs and have tried a lot of different food from there and we are never disappointed. The owners and staff are so nice and they always take good care of us!

I have been eating at Spartan for several years now. Their food is excellent. They have a varied menu so if you are looking for a sandwich, salad or home cooked meal you have many choices. They also have some delicious desserts. I really love their hot open turkey sandwich. They have large portions and the prices are very good.
The service is consistently outstanding. They are friendly, take time to answer questions, and go out of their way to provide the customer with special requests. This makes for a really nice dining experience all around.

Best place to have a wedding reception! The food was amazing and the waitresses and bar staff are so nice. We had a pretty big reception there and they did not have enough to champagne and they went and got some more for us. They helped with everything all my guest have great reviews! We were very pleased with and so happy we picked Spartans for our reception!

Went to Spartans II tonight and I was so disappointed! I’ve been there a handful of times before and always had a great meal! I’m not sure if they got new cooks but my food this time was a disaster! I got the baked ziti which was simply penne pasta mixed with ricotta and then overly smoother with a mozzarella cheese! The only baked part about it was the melted mountain of cheese on top that looked liked it had been placed under the broiler for a few minutes at most! It was so cheesy it was totally unpleasant (and I’m a cheese lover) on top of that we ordered a side of meatballs that were completely undercooked they tasted like mush! I actually had to spit mine out which I haven’t done since I was a kid! So disappointed i won’t be back!

Went back to SpartanII since it was so good. This time I had the veal francaise. It was delicious. Had so much of their great bread that I took a piece of veal home.

If someone asks for diet Coke and the establishment does not carry that brand, it should not be up to the wait staff to decide the prior mentioned person should get a diet Pepsi. That is kind of like asking for a vegan sandwich and getting a rare steak or vice versa.

I wanted to update my review based on the experience I had yesterday. We entered the restaurant (party of 4) and it was a busy time in the bar area (football Sunday) but the actual dining room only had 1 other table waiting for their food. We all ordered salads, and 4 French onion soups. Our waiter started out OK. but quickly declined as he was literally watching football, and at one point went into the bar area and didn’t come back. For everything we needed, we had to actually flag him down. The other VERY SNEAKY THING THEY DO is *****NO FREE REFILLS*****. They quickly ask you, would you like a refill? And little do you know. each is $ 1.50 a piece! Wtf? At least tell your tables that is it NOT FREE! Ugh. I am a waitress part time, and it pained me to give the kid a not so decent tip. but here is a tip… don’t watch football and neglect your table and you will make money. Sorry kid. Waiting tables on a Sunday isn’t for you if all your interested in is calculating your fantasy team. Anyways, overall for the service and the OK food… I downgraded this place to 3 stars. Check out the picture of the «no refills» printed on the menu, where our entire table clearly missed LOL

Went to Spartans 2 on ⁸⁄₂₂. Was told there was a twenty minute wait. I asked about a table nearby and was told that was for parties of fine or more only. We were a party of three. So we went to competitor and spent $ 90 tip included. Called them today and was told that the owner and manager was not available. I stated it was a complaint, then the manager came on the phone. She explain the policy and I explained that they lost a prospective patron and another family that has been going there for years due to the policy and how I was treated. The manager said she was sorry that I felt that way but said nothing to get me to try it again. It was a mechanical response from her at best. Oh and I know hundreds of people that work and live in the area.

Been coming here since I was a little kid.
Food is great, staff is amazing, and seating is plentiful.
Bar is decorated and has every sport imaginable up on the big screens.
Restrooms are clean standards for public.
Parking is a nightmare on the weekends, but you can park in back and most of the time it is the only option.
Definitely worth the trip for a family diner or barhopping late at night.

Love the food here from pizza to burgers everything is good. Great sauce a must try. Something for everyone. Best pizza in the area.

The atmosphere is nice, very friendly and attentive staff, and most of the food is good. I’m just shocked nobody has mentioned their pasta sauce. It’s absolutely horrid. Both times I’ve tried a pasta dish with red sauce, the sauce seemed to be some generic goop that was pulled out of a can, shlopped onto the pasta (way too much), and let to sit and congeal for an hour while the dish waits to be ordered. Literally anything else at this place is great, but the sauce is up there on my «how can a restaurant actually serve this? Has any employee ever tasted it?» list.

Having not been back in a couple years, I decided to take my girlfriend here for a bite to eat. I remembered the food was good and the service was excellent… None of that has changed. There are quite a few more TVs than I remember (there were a total of nine visible from my seat). The noise level from the TVs was a bit loud, but it was a Sunday night and it was the NFL playoffs.
For dinner, I had the Veal Parmigiana. It is offered with Italian bread and a choice of soup or salad. The veal was very filling and I had to take it home for leftovers. My girlfriend had a small mushroom pizza that she felt was so-​so.
While I really wanted to give this place a «4», nostalgia isn’t enough and had to settle for a «3». There could have been a little more bread served with our meal, there were no free refills on the fountain drinks, and there’s a $ 3 upcharge if you decide to share your meal.

This our go-​to restaurant. The food is always good and so is the service. They have a great selection on the menu. We’ve ordered everything from pizza to wings to full dinners and everything in between. We’ve never been disappointed. My personal favorites are their house creamy garlic dressing and pasta fagioli. There is nothing fancy about this place but there doesn’t need to be. It’s good food, quickly and at a fair price.
For Greek style pizza, this one is really good. Crispy bottom, slightly risen top. Yum.
They also now have an outdoor seating area, which only makes this place even better.
It’s one of the many restaurants we keep in «weeknight dinner» rotation of options. We probably eat here about once a month.

Solid bar and restaurant best describe Spartans. Not luxurious in the way «fine dining» establishments can be, but spotless, well maintained, and constantly updated. New dining room, outside patio area, wide screen TV’s in the bar. The dining rooms are spacious, the bar not so much. It can get crowded, even on weekday’s. The crowd probably says more about the desirability of the place than these reviews. It is an all ages crowd. Families in the dining room, everyone from 21 to 70+ in the bar.

All we every get here is pizza and beer. That’s pretty much what this place is known for. There is nothing fancy about it (which is prob why I like it so much!). the pizza is AWESOME (Greek style) and the beer is very reasonably priced. the bar is on the small side, but getting a table never seems to be a problem. This is more of a local hangout type place. Good times!
