My first trip here since I moved to Plano 7 months ago. Wish I would have taken my kids a lot sooner. One of the staff members, Dean, is incredibly friendly and super nice. He went above and beyond to make sure my two boys and my nephew had a great time! I would go back just for his kindness. The facility is big and super clean. We were there on a Monday evening, so the crowd was minimal which was great!

Looks super fun and cool! BUT My friends and I wanted to have a birthday party/going away party. We called three different times over two weeks and kept getting the party planner’s voicemail. Left some, never heard back. We emailed twice and still got nothing. Finally, after two weeks we talked to someone who told us they were all booked for the weekend even though we had been trying to book for weeks. Very unprofessional and not helpful at all. I don’t recommend trying to plan a party here.

This review is strictly about the experience we had at this Painstack yesterday. Previously, we had visited dozens of times and they were all actually pretty good. There were some problems here and there, but most could be overlooked or even dismissed. The issue we had yesterday arose not so much from the technical problems but from how the manager, Taylor handled the situation. The food overall is very good, drinks come quick and the bartenders are great. The games don’t always work and there are various issues from time to time but that goes with any place like this. Staffers are usually good when you can find them, Staffing seems to be an issue. If you go plan on having a good time unless there are problems, Then trying to handle the situation may turn that good time into a nightmare.

I came out to Pinstack last night with a group of friends for some food and fun in the way of bowling. Who doesn’t love to bowl right? It has been a minute(10 years!), so imagine my surprise when I walk in and see how nicely put together the establishment is. There are so many different aspects to Pinstack that make it a great hang out location whether it is date night, a family outing, or even a party. There are private areas to dine aside from the main dining areas which was perfect. Even better were the large screen televisions that were already tuned into sporting events! Sometimes it’s better to see that basketball game live, rather than have the husband check the score on his phone every couple of minutes. The waitstaff is extremely attentive, and Will from management was came to check on us to ensure that the service was top notch. Even though they were extremely busy(Friday night) I really appreciated that, way to go Will! The menu is quite large(not obscene though), and offered a wide variety of foods. Our server Denzel was pleasant and made us feel comfortable while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. I liked the fact that there are healthy options, and that they listened to my dietary restrictions, while the husband and his friends chowed down on fried buffalo shrimp, cheese sticks, burgers, and grilled chicken were all excellent. The drinks were superb, anytime you have a margarita with a beer in it you know that’s going to be a recipe for a great night. We had an EXCELLENT time bowling. The shoes were clean and in excellent condition, and there was plenty of bowling ball options available. The tablet at the lane was user friendly and allowed for lanes to set up names for participants with ease. I really enjoyed the fact that there is wait staff that come to check on you frequently to make take drink orders. While bowling I noticed the party rooms and really couldn’t believe how close they were to the lanes! Having a party here would be a memorable experience for sure, and you wouldn’t have to walk across the building to get to bowl. I can see that definitely putting parents at ease. Pinstacks has a bar, dessert bar, gaming area, laser tag, and other aspects that we didn’t partake in because we had such a great time bowling. It’s a large place and I love that it has a little something for everyone. We will definitely be back to experience the what else Pinstack Bowl has to offer. If you are going to have a party or host something I definitely recommend speaking to Will, and he «Will» definitely arrange a memorable event for you.

An ok even place, not alot of things to do however. Was dissappointed on the bumper cars since it wasn’t alot of area to move. Was also dissappointed in the laser tag as well. The only thing I like that was different is that they have an obstacle course that is above the arcade!!!

Fantastic place for kids and adults alike. Food is fantastic and awesome atmosphere for the kids to go play games. More affordable than Dave and Busters and fantastic prizes. So much more to do than just games. We come here all the time. Five star food and desserts!

We had a great time here. The wait can get a little long depending on what time you arrive. But we had a blast drinking, eating and bowling. Can’t wait to go back.

Love, love, love this place! The location is large and super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our server was super sweet. He was consistent and made sure our needs were met. The seating at the bowling lane is large and comfortable. There is a community table that is large enough for both sides. Our shoes with perfectly under the table. We ordered the party platter which had chips, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, macaroni balls and potato skins. It was tasty and filling for our party of 5. Setting up the lane was easy and painless. I had more trouble finding a ball. We bowled for 1 hour during the week which was $ 18 off peak. Shoe rental is $ 4 for each adult. Lots of lanes to bowl at and if you get bored you can play games. They have a full bar and a restaurant. We didn’t try the restaurant side. All in all the experience was enjoyable. I plan on returning!

I am a youth worker. I am always taking kids on trips. This place is amazing. Couches at bowling lanes, $ 17(group rate) for 2 hours of unlimited attraction and 1 hour of bowling. Service is amazing! Many waiters and supervisors helped us and Stephen was helpful at the dessert counter which the kids loved.

So much potential, and so much going for it. We visited earlier this week as an office teambuilding afternoon. What I liked: Cool atmosphere, full bar, good food. What I didn’t like: Constant technical issues with the scoring system caused games to be interrupted and turns to be skipped. Employees were unable to fix the system so they moved us to other lanes. Our time ran out before we could finish our second game. The lighting is cool, but makes it difficult to see the arrows on the lane until in the middle of approach. Very slow service in the restaurant. Maybe they were having an «off» day. As we were leaving around 7:30 pm the place was really filling up. We may give them another try, but based on this experience I cannot award any more than two stars.

It’s hard to believe Pinstack has a 2.5 star average review so this is my attempt to remedy that by providing a parent’s perspective. This is an upscale bowling alley with a huge video game/prize game section that dwarfs Dave & Busters in quality and modernness. Like D&B, you put money on a card and swipe the card to ply games and participate in extra activities, which include a ropes course($ 5), laser tag($ 5), a section of glowing rock walls($ 4) and bumper cars($ 3). Let’s get one thing straight: Kids absolutely LOVE this place. The games are fun, reasonably priced and in working order. Yes, bowling can be a crowded mess or waiting for a lane but only because the lanes and extras are so awesome that EVERYONE wants to bowl here! Even the restaurant was a giant hit. Sure, it wasn’t Houston’s but the burgers, pizza and Caesar caps were all decent and our server Junior was absolutely amazing and attentive. When I see all these people writing negative reviews and saying they won’t be back, I kinda shake my head and wonder how on Earth they’re going to find a place this nice somewhere else. They’re not. Thanks, Pinstack!

I am really surprised how few stars Pinstacks has received! We were excited about this place opening, and have come here many times to bowl since then. It is a step up from Main Event, much more trendy and modern. Yes, the bowling is pricey, and so are the drinks. I can’t comment on the food, but I mean come on, I come here to bowl! There was one time we came late at night on a Thursday and I guess they were feeling generous, they let us play laser tag for free and gave us a free game to bowl. after we paid for several hours and lots of drinks later… The coolest thing about the lanes is you can choose from a variety of categories on the computer screen for your lane. They have one that tells you fun facts, or jokes every time someone bowls. Or they have themes like cartoon characters, animals, you get the idea. There was one time that I took my parents for Mother’s Day and we wanted to try out the games area, 3 out of 5 we tried to play weren’t working. The basketball hoops were stuck, the skee balls got stuck, and the 4 person air hockey was broken. We were disappointed to say the least. Other than that, we have enjoyed bowling here. But yes, it is pricey but it appears all the other reviews have warned you!

I read the complaints and then I went anyway. True, it is first come, first serve. That meant we were told there would be a 1.5hour wait and they’d call the cell phone when our lane was ready. Two hours later, we were called and on a lane. Shoes are $ 4. Cost is $ 34/lane/hour. You can get bumpers to raise up when it’s your kiddo’s turn to bowl(There I was stuck in the 80’s thinking they would slide a pool noodle thingy through the gutters) just by pushing a button on the computer when entering his name. And the food LOOKED delicious. Only one in our party ordered food and she ordered a salad from the restaurant inside this place. The rest of us ate ahead because we read that the food was bad but it looked great. I think next time, I’ll take the chance. I even saw cake balls for $ 2. The kids played the games and had a blast. No tickets, you swipe your card to get the«tickets» loaded. Need minimum of 300 to buy a prize. Above our heads, were people in harnesses walking a ropes course that even the adults enjoyed. To me, this place combined Chuck E Cheese and Dave and Busters(except D&B’s food is tasty).

Think Main Event. Bowling. Arcades. Rock Climbing. Bumper Cars. Bar. Food. You would think you can’t go wrong. Bowling was fine, but the wait for a lane was too long. Come to find out some lanes were broken. Arcades games work fine, but a toss up with some of the other games. Examples-basketballs stuck or missing at basketball games, huge air hockey table broke, screen on laser game broke. I understand that games break, but there is no one around to work on them and no out of order signs. So yes you guessed it-you find out after you swipe your card and it takes your points. It got to the point where I went back to the front desk(along with other people) to get points out back on my card. Not fun. Dave & Busters has people who just walk around servicing machines(take note Pinstack). Food was good. We enjoyed the local beer selection. Now fix those issues and we’ll be back!

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. We certainly had a grand ol’ time here. Stopped in for a drink and some bowling after work. This place is separated into different sections — an arcade gaming area, a restaurant, a bar, and bowling lanes. Arcade: Games seemed pricey, but we didn’t try playing any because the whole area seemed a bit kiddy. Would prefer to go to a different, bigger arcade for games. Bowling: Paid $ 12 for 1 hour of bowling with shoe rental. A bit on the pricier end, but the ambience was much better than other bowling alleys and certainly much better maintained. Food: Tried my friend’s the hot wings — not really spicy and were neither bad nor good. I didn’t care to try the food at all. In all fairness, it’s a bowling alley, not a Michelin star restaurant. The family in the lane next to us had a bunch of kids who devoured their meals. Bar: All draft beers are $ 3 for happy hour — $ 3 for a Revolver Blood & Honey? Yes, please! Bottom Line: My new favorite bowling place. If you are willing to pay up for atmosphere, this is the swankier sibling of the other joints in the area.
