Just like all the other subways you probably been too. Tell them your bread and sandwich type, get and get out. Nothing special here.

Don’t stop by if you’re in a hurry. Only 1 person working. No lights in the restroom. Sloooooooooow service. No rating!

Disgusted by the terrible, rude service and unsanitary food handling practices. These ladies lack common sense you learn about germ monsters as a kid. Although this is the most convenient subway, I’m never stepping foot in there again.

I am disgusted. The lady put my sandwich in the toaster and instead of waiting for the sandwich to finish, she decided to use the waiting time by making me pay. Basically she touched money and the computer screen (with her plastic gloves on) then continued to touch all the ingredients to finish my sandwich. So now my sandwich is infested with whatever is contaminated on money and the computer screen. This is sick!!! The FDA should shut this place down for being unsanitary.

Horrible service! The person in front of me ordered a Sandwich with bacon and ham and after the lady making the sandwich did not change her gloves! I don’t eat any meat from pigs or anything that touches it, so I asked the lady to change her gloves. The lady made a HUGE fuss about it say that ‘she’s not dirty’ and ‘her hands are clean’. I told her my reason, and she exclaimed that she didn’t touch any meat from a pig. I then had tell her that I saw her touch the bacon and ham that are meats from a pig, and she finally changed her gloves. The ONLY reason I go to this location is because it’s the closest, but I try to avoid it as much as possible.

I went to check nutrition facts online and when I went inside it was about 150 calories more! Not cool. Anyway I told the server it was my first time for breakfast and she was very helpful and with smile letting me know my options. I ordered Steak & Egg White Flatbread Sandwich with Cheese, I’d order it again

This Subway makes awesome sandwiches! We recently used them to cater a community event and ordered 10 foot long sandwiches. We were really satisfied with both the food and service. The Manager, Raj, made sure we got what we ordered and that they were delivered on time – everything was delicious. Maybe the inside of this Subway isn’t that great, but the sandwiches we got were really good, and the service to our event even better. I highly recommend this Subway (not the one on Fitzgerald) if you’re having a big event and want some good food to go with it.

these people don’t know how to take a phone order. they hung up on me 3x.

Terrible service! I only come here because it’s the closest one to me. The tables are always dirty and the staff wont do a thing about it. Wait, yes they do they give YOU a rag to clean it yourself! The lady did this to me when I informed her my table and seat had lettuce and bread crumbs all over, so instead of coming over she gives me the rag to clean it. Since I declined she came over and «cleaned» it herself by dumping all the stuff on the floor and under the table. Nice–
Also, the soda machine had no ice a customer informed them about it and they responded by saying they already knew. Yet they never filled it? One star = get it together!

TERRIBLE! OMG. SO BAD. I came in and the two womenproceeded to mop for 2 mintes without saying a word to me or helping me. Finally one came over, put her gloves on and starred at me blankly. I gave my order and my bread… she shook her head. After a very awkward exchange, she tells me they only have two kinds of bread (she could have just said that but instead she shakes her head at me as if I will understand). The woman did not have a handle over the English; she was mumbling under her breath. She then tries to toast my sandwhich. I interjected, saying I didn’t want it toasted. She then gives me this dirty look from hell then slams the sandwhich back on the counter. She then randomly starts helping the guy behind me, who is looking confused at her, and even said «I don’t think this ladies order is complete.» She then rings me up before handing me the drink and it comes to 7.75. I see the sign that a sub, drink and chips are 7.25. i said «Isnt the meal $ 7.25». She gives me another dirty look then calls over the other woman in her native language. The women start laughing with eachother and then says to me «She already ring it up! 7.75. You dont get deal. She already ring it up!» WTF! Have you ever heard of re-​ringing something that was misrung!!? I stormed out and will NEVER EVER BE BACK.

Service poor, food subway typical.

Avoid this location at all costs. I have had several infuriating and frustrating experiences… all of the reviews are true. Recently I asked for no peppers… she proceeded to put every pepper she had on my sandwich. I asked for a bottled water. she was confused and wanted to give me a paper cup. They cannot communicate, do not listen, don’t care. Go up the hill or elsewhere, or be prepared to be mistreated.

The customer service at this subway sucks. They do not greet the customers or make them feel welcome. Even when I said hello to them, they looked at me like I was crazy and acted like I didn’t say anything at all. I don’t know if they are racist or just hate their job because a HELLO doesn’t cost anything at all. I will not be coming to this subway again!!!

The 2 young servers are not busy no customer didn’t even clean the table they just talking when we arrive. We already gave them a hint by asking for extra napkin to wipe the tables but they didn’t do anything about it. And then they continue chatting instead of cleaning and i think they re watching a soap opera on their phone. We feel sorry for the owner we bet neither those 2 girls are owners. The Sandwich is good, but the experience is not. I will Comeback next week, let us see if there will be improvement.

the customer service here SUCKS ! they dont say hi or nothing. they rude ass hell & have a stank ass attitude. the only thing I like is the sandwhiches. But I wont be coming here no more. the owner is racist & stuck up for his employees. I dont like this place & I will be filing a complaint to corporate. save ya money & dont go to this wack place. bad customer service. VERY BAD !

There’s really only 2 reasons I’ve been coming to this particular Subway for the past year or so: Jamba Juice and location.
— It’s right next to the freeway so the exit and the entrance is super easy to get to on my way home from work.
— It’s situated right next to Walgreens, which is also right next to Trader Joe’s so if I need to pick up groceries or pick up some other random thing I could also pick up a sandwich!
— It’s also situated next to Jamba Juice! So after I get stuff I need at Walgreens/TJ’s and my sandwich I can also get my Acai smoothie fix!
What others say about the service here is true. The atmosphere isn’t always welcoming. They don’t really smile at customers (sometimes — on rare occasions — they do but mostly not) and they look like they hate their job. I’m getting pretty tired of getting the same kind of treatment when I come here — especially since I’ve been coming here for so long and always around the same time so you’d think they’d be a little bit nicer to regulars — but they’re not. So I actually decided to try the other Subway that’s just another exit away and makes me drive a little farther in the opposite direction from home but it’s sooooo much better.

I just read the previous review and I agree 100%. The people who make the sandwiches act as if they are doing you a favor. They ask the same question 3 times and then put the things on that you don’t want. Last time they put the vegetables on a broken roll so when I went to eat it –it fell apart. I like subway but this is close to my office and each time I go I regret it.

Service is pretty good depending on how busy they are.
The ony drawback: location! Since Pinole High is right next to the plaza, depending on the time of day, expect students to be loitering instead of going home.
