By far the nicest people I have ever met working a sandwich shop. I was passing through and just found the place by chance. The guys were super kind and helpful and the sandwich was damn good. I had a turkey avocado sandwich with all the fixings on a Dutch crunch roll. It was so delicious!!! That garlic sauce they put on it really made it. I’m bummed I don’t live in town because I would go there daily. Great business. Definitely check it out.

Great food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They recommended numbers 7 and 13 for us first timers! I’m so glad they did. When we’re in the area again we will definitely stop in!

The Pulp Fiction has a very interesting combo of flavors — turkey + lettuce + tomato + pickles + cranberry + Baja sauce + mayo + mustard — on a Dutch roll, all having a party in my mouth!

Discovered this place through Unilocal.Pulled over and ordered a Rueben and their #7 Pulp Fiction. Wow! Incredible! Delicious! Fun environment and very friendly staff! I highly recommend Mr. Pickles!

What is miss. I go to Deli’s for the amazing Sandwiches and Side Dishes. The ingredients are fresh except the bread was just the worst. I ordered the #9 on sourdough which is one of their Top 3 sellers and it was just bland. Just a basic sandwich shop. I would prefer Subway honestly. The bread can make or break and sandwich. In this case, it totally broke the sandwich. The portions are fair and in line with the price. The atmosphere is nice and enjoyable. Clean place. Staff was great, 5 star. It is a basic sandwich and there is not any «love» in the food. I probably would eat their again, just would have to try another bread and maybe have the bread heated or toasted, but still would be concerned about the taste. My 3 stars were for the Cleanliness, Staff, and Atmosphere. Thank you for taking the time to read my Unilocal

If I could allot more than 5 stars, I would. Not only are the sandwiches some of the best we’ve ever had, but the customer service is continually above and beyond what is expected. Our sandwiches are always delicious, and the staff shares a conscious concern for ensuring the food is high-​quality, and that the clientele has a great experience.
During our visit we observed all of the staff engaging with both new and regular customers in an authentic manner, and delighting in their work. In addition, I left my wallet by accident, and was extremely pleased to find that the staff found it, stored it safely, and that all of the contents (including a great deal of cash) remained. I cannot share enough positive feedback for this establishment. We will surely be customers for life.

It’s a 50⁄50 hit or miss with them. Unfortunately to report most of the time my food is brought out wrong — not as ordered — sad because their food is delicious when prepared correctly. But most of the time even if I’m standing in store ordering it is iffy. I’m sorry I don’t eat mayonnaise people! The ease of online ordering is great — even with customized orders. It’s just if it is going to be prepared correctly.

I have to say that they’ve gotten better. There are one or two (semi) new guys who work there. A friend at work was somehow able to convince me to give this place one more try. I was incredibly reluctant, but decided to give in this time only because I really wanted a sandwich and the other places had either closed down or lost my business after they decided to take their phone off the hook during lunch hour because ‘they couldn’t handle the business’ (actual quote — thanks Lucchessi’s). The guy (s) taking these phone orders haven’t screwed up my order once so far and I haven’t seen any staff who look like stoned teenagers just starting their shift. Nice improvement!

Generally I’m a big fan of Mr. Pickles so when i was driving through Petaluma I sound this one out. Unfortunately it wasn’t as good as other Mr. Pickle’s that Ive been to. The sandwich had a garlic spread added to it as a standard ingredient that i wasn’t expecting and it just didn’t work with the sandwich. Also the roll was undercooked, and while delicious this left the flavor so strong that it overpowered the sandwich.

We had Mr. Pickles on the Peninsula and Gherkins on the Peninsula Coast (ripoff of Mr. Pickles) but I have to say this location is the BEST!
Hubby and I stopped in for lunch today, staff was super friendly, I loved the vibe and all the cool stuff on the walls.
We split the P-​Town and it was delicious, sizable portions without being piggish and price is reasonable.
To the person who said Subway was better??? What are you smokin? I won’t step one foot in a filthy Subway, YUCK! Plus, you ever get a smile at that place from an employee? nope

Love love love Mr. Pickle’s! Nice people work here, they have super fresh bread and ingredients. They are always crowded at lunch so plan accordingly or call in your order :)
The place is clean and well laid out. Not alot of tables but enough and a few outside for our sunny nocal days. I also like the local color décor. Racing, high school teams, musicians… All Petaluma all the way. It is not expensive, imho, for what you get. The northbay is costly!
But for a reliably tasty and healthy sandwich Mr. Pickle’s is great.

Generic sub shop with terrible sandwiches. We stopped here solely thanks to the great Unilocal reviews and were sorry we did. I think the big miss for me was the bread. Its a generous menu, but really I would have rather gone to Subway. Skip it and find somewhere else to eat.

We were on a road trip and in a hurry and honestly had low hopes for Mr. Pickles. MAN WERE WE WRONG! The sandwiches were amazing… we had the Pulp Fiction and the 18th hole (?) both on the crispy Dutch bread. They were some of the best sandwiches we’ve ever eaten. Everyone in there was so nice… the service could not have been better, and all for a great price. I’d recommend stopping here on any road trip or just when you’re in the mood for something great.

Great quality and you get so much for the price! My sandwich was humongous, it took me two seatings to finish my sandwich. They also have tons of options to choose from, I couldn’t decide what I wanted.
Nice and funky atmosphere and great service! The employees are always so helpful and friendly.
My only complaint was the last time I was here my bread was extremely stale. And I was really looking forward to Dutch crunch!

Three times in a week. Just looking for a good moderately healthy sandwich and told my parents about the place as well. We tried turkey, pastrami, roast beef, on wheat, rolls etc.
The meat is tasty and generous. The bread isn’t amazing, but fresh and good, and the ingredients are definitely fresh tasting. Also even during lunch where there is a line, they manage it well and have great quick service.
