Pizza was good, fried ravioli and sauce was tasty but over priced at bit and poor service. Very slow getting food and waitress was rude. No bread served with food either. Overall experience very disappointed. Service is everything!

We waited such a long time after we ordered that we finally asked for bread. They brought us what seemed like smashed, stale hot dog buns. We finally got our food and the marinara tasted like a mixture of tomato sauce and bbq sauce. Nothing tasted like Italian food. Even the pizza bad. Would not recommend.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants that me and my family have dined in. We are vegetarian and ordered the Eggplant Parmesan, fettuccini Alfredo and spinach lasagna… everything was superb. The marinara sauce had a spicy zest. Topped it with Desert recommended by our server CJ who provided excellent service. the phenomenal bread pudding and chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. we were so happy we came here for dinner on the last day of our vacation… left us with very pleasant memories of our vacation at Pensacola beach. This is a must go for everyone staying at the Hilton. just across the street.

Attempted to order pizza from here over the phone. The woman on the phone was rude and very unprofessional she back talked me when I attempted to ensure that my order was correct. When I told her she was a smartaxx and that I was going to order from somewhere else she told me «good!». I asked to speak to the manager and she told me that she was the manager. I then asked for the owner and was told he wasn’t there. When I said I was calling back tomorrow to speak with him she told me she didn’t care and I could talk to who I wanted wasn’t going to make any difference. Can’t score lower than one star

We ordered the muscles the sauce was good but the mussels were overcooked. The pizza was nice and service was good. Nice wine list something for every palate and every price. Quiet quaint atmosphere. The bread pudding is knock out!!! Glad we stopped in.

Disappointing experience. Polite yet inattentive server and mediocre food. The shrimp in the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp was over cooked. The antipasti salad was mediocre-mostly pizza toppings on top of salad. Pizza was okay, but not hot and nothing spectacular. Two entrees and on small pizza plus one beer was around $ 45. Not worth the wait or the price.

Still our favorite Italian… love the manicotti and Spagasna, go to after a long chilly day on the water. Warm and inviting. And the salads are much improved.

This place was amazing! We were seated quickly and the wait staff was AMAZING! The food was perfect! The perfect amount of sauce and very generous helpings. This is defiantly our go to spot when we visit! We LOVE this place you have to try it! Best Italian on the island!

The food wasn’t bad but the staff serving it was horrible. We waited almost 20 minutes for them to even bother to take a drink order, the place was nearly empty, when the salad that I ordered arrived it didn’t have any dressing, I literally had to get up and ask for dressing because our server was mia. When she the«dressing» it was pure vinegar. I asked her if she could bring us an actual dressing. The pizza we ordered arrived and it was delicious. After finishing our meal we waited again for a very long time for the check. Very disappointed.

We just came in for wine and apps. The ravioli was delicious. Enjoyed the crab cakes. But our server Daniel was fun and personable. He even offered to cross the street to get one of us a Bud Light Lime since they were out. OK he was kidding and playing along with us!

First visit + first impression = first class family dinner. Stopped in for dinner with our family; our group included two small children who were treated appropriately and courteously. We were greeted warmly at door… first, outside by a local patron waiting for take-out who raved about the place and claimed she visits here about once a week. Second, by another local who comes here frequently and was queuing right behind us – he also gave rave reviews. Thirdly, by one of the two young women hosting – all were welcoming, warm, and friendly. We were seated immediately and offered a high chair for the youngest member of our clan. Wait staff took our drink orders immediate and also offered solid advice on what wines were available. Immediately after drinks were served, our order was placed and lickety-split, arrived very shortly thereafter. We shared two appetizers: Tomato Loaf – a little bit clumsy bruschetta on a split French-Italian roll with good flavors. Eggplant Parmesan – a go-to app for me. Unfortunately, while apparently fresh-made, it was served warm but not hot, and the breading was soft and simply slipping off… no crispy crunch one might expect. Loved the flavor but was disappointed in overall texture. On to better things: Pizza, pizza! Thin, crispy crust(just as ordered) «Bella Wife,» bursting with flavors of spinach, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke, and goat cheese. Perfect amount of topping and a slightly piquant, lively taste. We also shared a small«19th Hole Pie» with habanero pepper, beef, homemade sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, onions, bell peppers, and green olives. Toppings again were perfect in quantity, not too sloppy, and really zinging with flavor. As one of our family members commented, «One of the best pizzas he’d ever had that incorporated-blended the flavors all-in-one, not just slapped on top.» He was right! There also was a bit of smokiness that either came from the bacon or sausage. Regardless, it was a tasty-treat of a pie. Chicken tenders(a bit chewy), breaded and house-made, along with the hand-cut fries, plus a side of thin linguini made for a great kids’ meal. House wines were fairly mundane but ok. No room for the legendary Bread Pudding or Key Lime Pie. We’ll definitely return for those soon.

We’ve decided to visit Pensacola Beach in the winter each year, and we will be visiting this restaurant each time as well. Lillo’s Tuscan Grille has calm vibe with lots of knick-knacks on the walls to look at. You must get the Tomato Loaf as an appetizer. It’s bruschetta, and it’s the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. The mozzarella and pesto are phenomenal. I had the fettucini alfredo. It was good, but not the best I’ve had. I added mushrooms for 50 cents extra. It was the largest portion I’ve ever been served, so you could share this entrée. They do charge a sharing fee for a nominal amount, which is fair to me. I also had the side salad with their house vinaigrette. It’s a green olive vinaigrette. I really thought I wouldn’t like it, that didn’t sound appealing. But I made a deal with myself that I will only try house dressings when I try a local place. I’m glad I tried it, it was good! The small side salad was just okay. Mostly iceberg lettuce with a few greens, and some veggies. But it was large portion for a small and filled me up. We also ordered a 10″ pizza, which is the perfect size for 2 people, if you’re not going to eat anything else. We got the Hawaiian Pizza Pie. Great taste! The crust is light and tasty, and the sauce is sooo good. Very delicious. The service is great. I think his name was Daniel, and he was very nice and professional. He kept our drinks filled, and consistently made sure we were taken care of. And ask for the table that looks out onto the bay!

While looking for a place to eat for New Year’s that had affordable crab, we stumbled across this place which not only had fantastic homemade crab cakes(made of just crab!), but an exemplary plate of veal parmesano! With the impeccable service and romantic atmosphere, we left quite giddy! Although placed in an undeserved corner, this gem is a must go if visiting Pensacola Beach!

So my sister and I wanted some Italian food while on a recent trip back home. Checked the reviews and we decided we had to try this place. We got seated right away as it was during the week. What an adorable atmosphere! Very cool bar also. I got the shrimp fettuccine and it was awesome! I’m part Italian and I can tell you this place is great. The service was great and love how the owner just hangs out and chatswith his patrons. Sorry for those who didn’t like this place, not sure what they were looking for but HIGHLY recommend a visit here.

We ate here last summer and I don’t know if it was a positive memory of the trip or what… This time… very disappointing. Beverages… My wife had iced tea which tasted off(dirty urn?). Appetizers… We started with fried ravioli which was good. I ordered a small house salad. In this case, «mixed greens» meant a bowl of white iceberg lettuce with two or three leaves of green… Entrees… My daughter had a small cheese pizza(they don’t have a kids menu) which she refused to eat as it «tasted really bad.» After trying a bite myself, I could not argue. The wife had a pizza as well… with sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, etc. She said it was like a 99 cent frozen pizza and got through half of it by drenching it in the marinara from the appetizer(«so it had some flavor.»). I had Chicken Parmesan which was decent but the plain pasta on the side was bland and I left it untouched. Service… The server was nice enough but not so knowledgable about the menu(could not tell us if the pizza was wood fired)… I think he was not surprised that we declined taking anything to go… There was a disclaimer on the menu that made it clear that they did not want to hear any complaints.(It said that if you don’t like something, you can get something else but have to pay for both it if you try more than one bite of the item you send back — I should have taken the hint.) All in all, It was a lesson that we should wait to eat Italian food someplace besides Pensacola.

So looking for a decent Italian place in Pensacola is not the easiest but let me say I found the best Italian joint in the whole area. Lillo’s has it all. Me and two of my good friends went out for an early dinner around 5:30 when we showed up they had only been open for about 30 minutes, so naturally the place was empty our waitress(Paige what’s up!) sat us at a table of our choice and quickly got our drinks as well as some friendly banter. After ordering some crab cakes(great) we ordered our meals. Two of us got spaglasagna(spaghetti + lasagna) I think that’s the spelling and our other pal got the chicken parm. THESERVINGSAREHUGE so in conclusion Excellent customer service Huge portions Legit hand made Italian Best you will find in P’Cola

Stopped in with my lady for a respite from the smoky and loud beach bars. It was comfortable inside and I was kind of surprised to see 3 – 4 couples eating early dinner. We hadn’t planned on eating anything, just having a cold beer and some wine, but the wonderful smell enticed us into ordering an appetizer. We got the two crab cakes, which were full of crab meat and… stuff. They were delicious and presented nicely on a bed of greens and yellow and red bell peppers. The tartar sauce was obviously made in-house and was a great balance between the creaminess and zingy sweetness of the pickles. I’d recommend the crab cakes as an appetizer or a light meal. I’d been here a couple of times before, notably on the 2012 St. Paddy’s Day pub crawl, when Lillo’s was approximately stop #6. By that time, my krewe was famished and ready for vittles(and more drinks!), and we weren’t disappointed. Good food, and I’d go so far as to say that the ambiance is unique to the beach, at least on the north side of Via de Luna. I don’t go to the hotel restaurants, so I can’t make a valid comparison, but I’ve been everywhere else on the beach, and Lillo’s is more intimate and less of a touristy-type of place. It would be perfect for a romantic evening, if you are in town and staying on the beach.
