Bad food, Dirty tables, Food all over the floor. Table service was fair. Won’t be back.

How does this place even pass a health inspection? Dirty tables, food on the floor, etc etc. I had to go to 4 tables which were cleared to find one decent enough to sit at. Then, I still had to ask the waitress to clean off the tables and chairs. She was nice, but I’m pretty sure she wasn’t using bleach water. Also, she was using the same cloth to clean every table without rinsing the rag in bleach water in between. Why did I stay? Well, you have to pay first(I get it now…) Also, we were with a group. Salad bar was good, and a piece of baked chicken was OK, although only room temperature. That’s all I tried. Please clean up!

I took old friends from out of town to eat at Ryans. This was my first visit. I always heard it was good. I was so embarassed. The place was filthy and smelled like sewage in the back by restrooms. The floor looked like it had not been swept or mopped in a week. The food looked delicious but it was terrible. Had roast, pot, carrots– meat was like beef jerky, dry and hard, potatoes were raw and carrots were mushy. Stove top dressing had a box of salt in it. Buscuits were hard and old. Ice crème was what we used to call ice milk cheap bad quality. All the food was terrible. I was so embarassed for suggesting this filthy awful place. I can’t believe how many customers were there. We were the first customers and the napkin holder had a puddle of something under it. The health dept should be called. I can’t believe you are still in business. I am a 55 yr old woman with better things to do than write a bad review but I want to warn ppl not to go here. I will never go here again much less pay almost 40 dollars for nothing. I tried several items and none were good. Mac and cheese had nort been stirred cuz the noodles are raw, and mushy at the same time. Unless you put old mac and cheese with new.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Ryan’s. It seems I’ve been missing out. Great food for the price.

I cannot say anything about this place that is good. The food is over fried, over battered, poorly displayed & not well prepared as 1 in our party had stomach problems all night after eating here. The staff who waited our table was attentive, too attentive. Hovering over us waiting to pounce & take our plate away. The bathrooms are filthy, carpet is nasty, chairs & tables all feel sticky. A health hazard.

I can’t say I’m horribly fond of this place, but if you come before 4pm on a weekday, the buffet is only $ 4.99, and my parents really love this place. Hubby and I have been here a couple of times on our own, but I’m usually with my parents when I come here because it’s just not my restaurant of choice. Not that I’m real fond of Golden Corral either, but Golden Corral is definitely better than Ryan’s, at least it is in my humble opinion. There aren’t as many options here are there are at Golden Corral either. They don’t start serving the steaks(or what they pass off as steaks because they are chewy as heck) until 4pm. One cool little trick is that you can get here at like 10 minutes before 4pm and pay the $ 4.99, but once 4pm hits, you then have access to the steaks for the cheap price rather than paying the high dinner price. I think the dinner price is around $ 10 per person. I can’t say for sure because we always come right before 4pm. When I do come here, I’ve learned to mostly just stick with eating steak and a baked potato. There are a few decent things on the buffet, but for the most part, I find it all bland; it reminds me of hospital food. Even though the buffets are kept clean, I can’t say that they really stay on top of keeping all the items replenished quickly. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. As for the dessert bar, I don’t like it at all. I’ve tried many different items from it and have yet to find one single thing I like. Even the soft serve ice cream you can get out of the machine has a funny taste and a funny texture to it. ICK! They do have a pretty good salad bar with a lot of items to choose from to put atop your lettuce as well as a good variety of salad dressings. But hey, how can a restaurant really go wrong with setting up a salad bar? The restaurant is clean. I have found service to be hit or miss here. Sometimes it’s really great and other times I have actually gotten up and went to the servers station and refilled my own drink. For those of you with an iPad(or if you wanna drag your laptop in), they don’t have WiFi, but you can catch WiFi from one of the nearby hotels. So, to sum up, if you’re looking for cheap eats, come just before 4pm on a weekday and you’ll be all set! If it’s after 4pm, please go find a better restaurant to spend your money.

It was good, one thing I would say it did taste better than Golden Corral buffet. Steamed Cabbage had flavor, instead at Corral it just tasted like it came from the ground. Rolls here are sweet, and soft. Fresh buttery taste.

What can I say about this place except that if you’re not into processed foods then this isn’t your spot. It’s a Southern version of Denny’s but better because it’s a buffet. It doesn’t matter how plain jane the sysco food is because they have a hundred different hot sauces to add some flavor!(which is why they get 3 stars) When you’re in Sippi you gotta do what the locals do… or go to the waffle house.
