They will attempt to rip you off. DONOTGOHERE. The woman was very nice and«helpful» but they were out of the phone we wanted so we went to a different store and the total they gave us was $ 160 cheaper.

I agree that Austin rocks. Not are about my Droid as I’ve experienced the same issues with emails. The phone seems to have a life of it’s own and decides to route all emails into my trash folder! Reboot and factory resets is not an acceptable resolution in my opinion, but Austin is keeping me sane enough to hold off a little longer before returning to my blackberry.

My Droid Incredible is constantly dropping e-mails. I’ve tried everything… I have turned it off, turned it on, rebooted it, called 611 support and after all that, it will work for a while and then I will get up after having e-mails, one day and then over night it will just not work. It is so frustrating. I have been helped by the most amazing 611 operators… Each time, it is a huge hassle… losing contacts the first time, though they warned me that would happen. the next time,. the girl was wonderful, walked me through and how to save my contacts but it was a huge hassle for both of us but better to take the time to back up your stuff! (Where do they go and take their patience classes??! They are never rude!!!) Anyway this is about the 4th time it has happened but I thought before I throw it in the river, I would swing by my local Verizon support store and see if they might be able to help. I was blessed when there was only one other customer in the store and I was helped by Austin Almendarez! He was so patient and took a lot of time trying to get my e-mails back up and without making me lose all my stored information. He stayed with it until it was fixed. And he was so professional and patient asking me questions and going through the process where he knew he was just helping me and I was probably not going to buy anything… I will definitely be back to purchase my next phone or the next phone on my account through HIM! I think we could all use an Austin Class in what good customer service is!!! NOTE If your DROID is not receiving e-mails, Austin figured out the remedy for me! You have to go to apps… uninstall your e-mail app and re-install it… Wahlah! It worked! It happened again about a week after I posted this regarding my visit to this Verizon and I did what he taught me and I was so proud of myself for remembering what to do! And it has been almost a month with no problems… YAAAAAY! Even though we should not all feel so technically entitled and get so upset when these amazing hand held inventions break down or don’t work quite right…(I mean I remember when all we had was just pay phones!!! So I need to remind myself to get a grip!) but at the same time, you do want something you paid so much for to work right… I just love when I find a solution after trouble shooting and being so frustrated and I know I can’t be the only one out there having this problem… Not sure why they do this but uninstalling and reinstalling my email app is a lot easier than re-booting and losing all my contacts and Kindle books and having to re-do all that kind of stuff… so there ya go… a little hint for my fellow Droid Buds! NOTEEND My wish for you all over this busy holiday season is a thousand Austins just like him! But I think he may be one of a kind!!!
