Bob Evans

While every place has their good and bad days, they must have had a meltdown the morning I stopped in for breakfast.
They did not have enough cooks (one + the manager on the grill), so the food quality was not what I’m used to seeing here. When the waitress came with my food, the toast looked liked someone had eaten off of it.
I’m the type that never complains at a restaurant but if you see the picture of my toast I uploaded, you’ll see why. They could do a better job at this location.

In the midst of writing great reviews last night, this one almost slipped my mind (I prefer filling my head with good thoughts). When we arrived, we ordered banana nut bread. The server bought out 4 plates. The top plate had a few black smudges. I grabbed it being it wasn’t a big deal to me. Then as I passed out the plates, the bottom plate was disgusting! It had butter and bread crumbs all over the plate. The people who grabbed plates before seeing the bottom plate had already grabbed their bread and placed it on their plates. We waited for the server but after 5 minutes she had still not come back.
Saw a guy who appeared to be a manager and he told us he’d bring new plates. I asked if they could bring new bread as well being they were placed on the dirty plates. When he came back with new plates, it appeared as though he bought out the same bread. The reason for thinking this is one of the pieces had a cut along the crust of the bread that I had noticed in the first batch. The «2^nd batch» had the same one piece missing a part of the crust. When I mentioned it to the «manager» he said this was a different batch and that he threw away the previous batch. I told him we were okay with not having the bread and when he walked away, my young girls said «he’s lying». I do feel like he may of been attempting to be deceptive.
Anyways, we eat out a lot, rarely complain (see my other Unilocal reviews) and always tip well. This place should be avoided as this was not the first time we’ve had issues at this location. This is just the first time reviewing due to always giving people chances. I’m quick to say great job and slow to say you suck. Will not be back! There are too many superior restaurants in the area.

We were here twice for the Veterans Day and today for Thanksgiving. We were very disappointed in their service. I was thinking on Veterans Day because hey had a full house and they were busy. Today they were only half full but we had to wait for 15 minute and no waiters serving us. I couldn’t wait any longer and asked a man in a blue shirt whom looked like a manager to have someone to take our orders. He said he will then walked away. We waited another 10 minutes with so many waitresses passing by pretending they were very busy cleaning the tables but still no one to take our orders (don’t mention sitting there for 25 mins and no one even offer us a glass of water). My husband and I were checking in the phone to locate another restaurant to go. Then, finally a young lady came and apologized and took our orders. I felt bad for her for I witnessed all other waitresses were giving this young lady and attitude. By the time out food came, this young lady (looks like 16) was hardly able to hold the tray and not able to touch the plates because they were too hot for her to bear. My husband and I quickly assisted her to load all the dishes and thanked her for her services. Although this young lady was not able to fully carry out her job, but we did appreciate all of her hard work and services. Especially comparing to the other waitresses pretending they were doing something. After these 2 visits, We will not come back to this place for sure, and do not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Service was good and the waitress was nice. The manager even stopped by to see if everything was ok. We didn’t have to wait too long to get a table. The reason for three star rating is for the food. I know that going to a Bob Evans you shouldn’t expect a spectacular breakfast but I got a Belgian waffle… How can you go wrong? The waffle was just bleh. No flavor, had these weird black speckles, and was just really dry.

Breakfast came out fast and perfect despite being a full restaurant. Service was excellent, best I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend. Very clean.

Absolutely horrible service. Took over an hour to get our food which was cold upon arrival. I ended up finding the bus boy and giving him a tip. This is the first time in my life that I have never left a tip at a restaurant. It wasn’t busy at all.

I haven’t been in a Bob Evans in years. It was a last minute lunch choice yesterday. The burger and fries were good. The place was packed with everybody from young families to business people to senior citizens. Service was good. I’ll go back here.

I was very disappointed with this Bob Evans. Staff was very friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean. However on both visits my hash browns were, first over cooked and on the second visit undercooked. My boyfriend’s potatoes were also undercooked on my second visit. I love Bob Evans and can always count on their food being great but not at this location. I also went during different times and days of the week. I was not impressed by the food at all and was highly disappointed. I won’t be giving this location a third try.

Great service, clean establishment, food was great. Will def come back and recommend to friends and Internet folk.

Much better than the Glen Burnie location. I thought the food was on point and you can’t beat their coupon deals. The service was quick so I will be returning :)
My favorite is the rise and shine breakfast combo with bottomless caramel mocha drizzled with syrup and whipped cream. Yum!

Very good customer service and the food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone wanting a taste of good home cooking.

It’s my first dining experience at Bob Evans in a long time. I remembered the last time, I think, was near Niagara Falls in Watertown, NY in 2003. Since it’s so long ago and before Unilocal,there is no review about it in my page. Last year, we stopped by to pick up ‘to go food’ on our way to Reheboth Beach, Delaware. I felt that Bob Evans is much like Cracker Barrel (another restaurant that I had frequented in the past, but not anymore thus, no reviews here) in the way their food products are displayed in less extravagance, and the food is somewhat like Denny’s. I frowned upon going to Bob Evans, but now, I realized it’s okay because the menu line up offers variety of food, and breakfast is served all day. We will definitely have Bob Evans as one of our chain restaurants dine in stop. I felt and saw that the regular eaters were happy about this location’s service and food. If the mascot is a dog, I’m in the house!

Great food! My older brother treated me to lunch for my birthday. I ordered the Big Farm Cheeseburger with fries. The burger was delicious, we had a good waitress and the assisted manager stopped to check on our service. Both my brother and I enjoyed our lunch. We will return again.

I thought for sure I’d get a first to review. Dang! Bob S. beat me to it.
Fell victim to my first April Fools prank of the day. The duty manager, Julia S., came over to inform us, at 6:20 in the morning, that they were out of coffee and juice. She had me going until she said, «We’re also out of eggs.» At which point I said, «April fools, right?»
She did it so convincingly and was so thrilled that she’d fooled me that it made my morning.
I know there are probably some Bob Evans haters out there, but our waitress, Michelle B. gets up at 3:00 in the morning and drives from the Eastern Shore to make it to work. She said she’s been doing it for 2 ½ years. When we asked her why she doesn’t work closer to home, she said that she has a lot of «regulars.» The management must be doing something right.

Standard homestyle cusuine and exceptional garden salads. Although their caesar salad is just a regular salad with caesar dressing. The chicken parm was good, but the red sauce mixed with the bed of spheghetti was kind of soupy. I prefer my sauces thicker. On the upside it was a meat sauce and had lots of veggies mixed in. Beyond that the food was great.
Staff were pleasant and seem to enjoy working there. Food was prepared swiftly and accurately. Great all around family sit-​down restaurant.
