Terrible soggy sandwich. We got home and we were missing half of our 40 $ order. I will never go back. Wish I could give them 0 stars

Decided to try it out with the Groupon they have running. The grinders are bland and kind of soggy, not too much flavor. Ordered nachos which the make with Doritos with melted sliced cheese. Kinda gross. The manager was extremely condescending to the employee working the register and completely ignored myself and the 3 people I was with. Food and management were not good. Wouldn’t go back.

I had a Groupon and asked the cashiers advice on which sandwich to get. She recommended the Bambino and it was wonderful! My girls ordered grilled cheese sandwiches. One of my daughters liked it the other didn’t like hers but that’s because she doesn’t like American cheese. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. We ate in the restaurant and everything was clean and pleasant. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie sandwich which was 2 big chocolate chip cookies filled with cake icing, it was gross. The icing tasted like sweet lard. Other than that-our experience was very good.

I really enjoy Momma Goldberg’s. Now you can’t expect like New York City quality deli or anything of that matter, but out of everything I’ve eaten there, I’ve enjoyed. My go to is their Bambino Italian… it is SOGOOD. Odd thing is, it’s always empty. I’m always scared I’m going to go up one day and it’ll be closed.

I tried Momma Goldberg’s for the first time last night. It was pretty busy when I got there. You order at the counter and you either pick it up or they bring it to your table. Since I had never been there, I asked the friendly lady behind the what she recommended. She said her favorite was the Mommas Love, so I took her advice and ordered this, and an order of nachos with jalapeños and a draft beer. It took a little longer than I had expected but the sandwich was obviously freshly made and steam heated. Another young lady brought me my sandwich. Wow, it was awesome. The nachos were great too. If you have never had a steamed sub, it is different than a toasted sub but was really good. The nachos are made with Doritos. Yummy In short the food was good, the beer was cold, the service was excellent. Cudos to Vicki and Monica for making my first trip to Momma Goldberg’s a good one. I just wish there was one closer to home.

I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad. The«professional» salad maker made my salad. I ordered five toppings from the menu but she told me they only had what was in the buckets. She said I was better off just looking at what they had. Salad was pretty good and a good size. They don’t have bottled water, only cups for tap water. My bill was $ 9.34 for a salad and diet Coke. Way too high for takeout. I won’t go back.

First off. went there a week night and one guy was there working. I went woth4two other friends. We were the only ones therr. I ordered the roast beef and french onion soup… The sandwich looked like something I could have made it home the taste of the sandwich was soggy because of all the Nana A’s and mustard and lettuce on the sandwich. About 5 minutes I waited thinking that I would get my French onion soup which never came so I had to go up to the associate and ask for the soup I ordered. At this time another associate walked in from running errands or from his break and it took the both of them to make my French onion soup which consisted of one of the associates scooping the soup into a styrofoam bowl, the other associate with his gloves on, threw in the bread pieces into the cup and then the other associate put the cheese into the cup and then just handed it to me with no tray and almost spilling it. When I went to sit down I was so disgusted by the presentation of the French onion soup that I could not even bring myself to eat it. I was so very upset and dissatisfied with the quality of the food and service for what I had paid for.

Probably first and last visit, and certainly would not have gone had I realized the buns were steamed. Additionally, there was so much mayo and«Momma’s Sauce» on the sandwich which likely made the buns even soggier, and also overpowered the taste of the turkey. Sorry Momma, I won’t be back.

Tiny, Kid sized sandwiches which I could’ve made better at home and the prices are outrageous. The staff is not very attentive and act like they have better things to do. Will not return here.

We stumbled across this place and thought we would give it a try. We are always looking for a good sandwich shop. First the place was so dark we didn’t know if it was even open. Inside only one customer. We ordered momma’s love and a big momma. First disappointment was that they charge 40 cents each extra for any additional toppings even onions or pickles. Second both sandwiches tasted identical with very little taste at all. Third from about 30 minutes after I finished my sandwich I had to make about 6 trips to the restroom. I do not recommend this place at all.

Visited the Mama’s in Troy AL and found it to be GREAT~! I had the Reuben with spicy mustard. It was served on a firm rye and tasted great. Service was quick. I plan to visit the PC store this week and I hope it’s as impressive as the Troy location.

Today I went to check the place out for the first time during my lunch break. I ordered a side of nachos free with a purchase of a large drink(coupon) and I have to say it was the worst nachos I had. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for it. Slathered on some sliced processed crap steamed it up and called it nachos. Poor and lazy. Not worth $ 3.19 at all. I haven’t tried all the other items yet but one Unilocaler said this one sandwich is terrible. Don’t know if I want to come back.

A friend and I visited Momma Goldberg’s Deli in Panama City on Saturday, July 20th for lunch. She ordered roast beef and provolone on sour dough not toast and I ordered a Momma’s Bambino. The first issue I had with this establishment was that they measured the roast beef for my friends sandwich on the scale without wiping it down. After they removed the meat for her sandwich, they put the ham for my sandwich on the same scale without cleaning it. Not once did I see them clean of the scale. Next, the person making the sandwich put a very light layer of mayo on the bread. My friend had to ask four times for the person to add more mayo. Each time they would only spread a minute amount on the sandwich. The tomatoes and pickles were sliced so thin that they were nearly transparent. Most of the staff also seemed very unenthusiastic and gave the impression that they had no desire to be there. I ordered chips with my meal and my friend ordered potato salad with her meal. The combo with chips and a drink is $ 2.50 additional to the $ 5.39 sandwich. The combo with potato salad is $ 4.50 additional to the $ 5.39 sandwich. After sitting down, I reviewed the receipt and then double checked the menu. Individually, the potato salad cost $ 1.59 and the drink cost $ 1.69 which totals $ 3.28. Therefore, you are paying an additional $ 1.22 before tax by getting the combo. I brought this to the attention of the manager who gave the impression that he knew this but preferred not telling the customers that is less expensive to order the items individually.(Personally, I think this is fairly shady dealings). While I waited for him to begrudginly give me a refund for the difference, one of the servers started asking loudly if there was anyone who wasn’t afraid of big bugs. He asked this twice more before the manager asked him what he was talking about. The server then told the manager there was a big bug in the lobby area. Any of these items individually may have been overlooked, but when you get this combination in one visit then there is a lot to be desired. I have submitted a comment to the Momma Goldberg’s Corporate webpage, but I have not received a response. I also gave a low recommendation on the local Facebook page with details which apparently was quickly removed.

I’ll start out by saying that I’m writing this based on my first and only visit here, and I’ll more than likely return to see if things have shaken out. If things have improved I’ll update my review. That being said, the experience was less than fantastic. First the food: I ordered the Momma’s Bambino sandwich. The ingredients were fresh enough, but much of the flavor comes from the sauce, which is largely similar to Italian dressing. The problem with it is that it turns the sandwich into a very greasy affair; so much so that it bordered on unappetizing. Perhaps mine just had too much. They advertise that they have beer, but during my visit it didn’t appear that it had been set up yet. The place was very clean, most likely due to the fact that it it’s brand new. This brings me to another point; normally when a new place opens, the staff is generally upbeat and interested in making a good first impression on the community. That didn’t seem to be the case here; everyone seemed pretty uninterested in being there. I hate saying that, but it really stood out. Again, I’ll give this place another shot to see if the first experience was a fluke. Hopefully that turns out to be the case. For a place this new to already disappear into the fray of chain restaurants around here that are«just ok» would be a shame.
