I usually don’t review local places for various reasons — and never those that are only open for tourist season! However, Ferrucci’s Ristorante which is open all year round, has not disappointed since we’ve discovered this local gem! I seldom if ever give a +5 review since I don’t believe there is a perfect experience anywhere, so the +4 is well deserved in this case. The food is always outstanding albeit a bit on the higher end of the cost scale — but even so well worth the price! We usually go there for special occasions and as such we were there for their New Year’s eve special menu this year(2016) We ordered the Veal and the seafood linguine — both were simply outstanding! If you’ve not had the opportunity to experience this restaurant, you have to give it a try — Best Italian restaurant(not a pizzeria) in the area.

This place just rocks. We’ve been coming here for years and we always leave happy, and with leftovers. The pollo Alfredo is slightly buttery with smooth linguine noodles. The sauce is exquisite. My wife had the chicken with a mushroom/wine sauce with fresh spinach. She loved it. Tiramisu was creamy with the right amount coffee flavor! It is always great to see the same servers. They do a great job! Tip of the cap to them!

You get only the best here at Ferrucci’s. We’ve been here numerous times and we love it. Their muscles are delicious as is the veal, pasta choices, and chicken eggplant. Great wine selection. Service is excellent and Mike the owner is always making sure everyone has a delightful experience. This is a jewel in downtown Panama City.

The service and appetizer were good, but other than that the meal was sub par. The fish was drowned in sauce and the red sauce was the worst in PC I’ve tried. The $ 70 it cost us to eat without any alcohol was crazy, more like a $ 40 meal for two at most. Looking for Italian, I would try somewhere else or only have an appetizer.

What can we say disappointing, really looking forward to some authentic well made Italian food, this is not what we got. My husband had the veal special very little veal which was very chewy and not fresh mushrooms and an undectable sauce, should of been Marsala. My sisters chicken dish was very good and my mussels were okay. Theme we found was inconsistencies, parmesan tasted out of grocery store container, blek. Plus the manager was notified but completely ignored us, as we were leaving the waitress was speaking him, obviously didn’t care

One of the best local restaurants around! I love the pasta with shrimp. The marinara sauce made special by the owner. The bruschetta is superb and service always friendly and fast! My husbands favorite is the penne alla vodka. Best part is having leftovers for lunch the next day :)

molto delizioso! We had a party of 10, both the food and the service was excellent. We called ahead for reservations, they have a separate room for large parties which was very nice! One of our waitresses was from Milan, very friendly. Our family is Italian so my mother went to thank the waitresses after the meal for her service and got a hug. Good people, great food.

Bread & salad was just ok. But all of the appetizers, entrees and desserts that our family ordered were all wonderful!

Nice quiet restaurant with an excellent staff. This place would be perfect for a romantic date. I went with a large group of co-workers but made mental note to bring my husband back here. The server seamlessly juggled our table of ten. We started off with caprese and the portabella appetizers. Both were good. Several varieties of the wood-fired pizzas were shared across the group. Everything tasted authentic. I wish I had written down the name of the Pinot Noir I ordered upon our server’s suggestion. It was delicious!

I went here on Friday. I had caprese, which was prepared very quickly and tasted great! Their bread and side salad was also good. My qualms are that the main dish took forever to arrive. I ordered the Spaghetti alla Bolognese and it was cold and salty. I was very upset. The price was also very unreasonable for the quality. Service was OKAY.

The best wood fired pizza around. If you want to tease you taste buds, stop by and try it(on Thursdays only). The bruschetta and mozzarella are delicious also. Family owned and operated.

Near perfect service. Only need a wheel chair ride home after all this amazing food. Super nice staff. Felica is a humorous waiter. We loved our time here and will be back again and again.

Not a bad spot. We still go every now and then. Over the years it has been inconsistent, not so much that we stay away, but not our first pick for italian either. Not at $ 15 — $ 20 a plate. Tonight, while not terrible, my whipped potatoes tasted like instant, the Marsala sauce seemed like jar sauce with added wine to taste. Seems like this dish has slipped a little. The Ricotta cheesecake is FANTASTIC however! Nice atmosphere, downtown Harrison Ave area is doing very well, reminiscent of a cozy coastal borough in say Connecticut, New York, or Maine.

My husband, kids and I had a great dinner here while visiting from NYC. The décor is simple with a row of booths for four on your right as you come in. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but was very impressed with the food and service. The food tasted fresh and authentic, while service was very friendly and accommodating. I had chicken with mushrooms, spinach and mashed potatoes while the boys had pasta with fresh tomato sauce and a la vodka — all were excellent! For desert we shared a tiramisu and it was delicious. I would definitely return here on our next trip.

What more can I say except for excellence! Excellent wait staff, excellent food, excellent atmosphere, excellent everything. Well worth the money. This one is on the return list. Come here and eat happy! I haven’t gotten to say that a lot and wow do I mean it. Stop in. If you do not you are surely missing out!

Great Italian food, my favorite in Panama City. You can dress up if you want, but upscale casual is fine, too. I’ve been there with my kids(early evening) their whole lives, but it’s also a nice date night place. The mozzarella appetizer, tomato soup, pollo splendido(with an extra serving of spinach instead of pasta), the sautéed chicken salad, shrimp Fra Diablo are my favorites.

My colleagues and I inquired at our hotel for an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, the manager tried to send us to the beach and basically told us that there weren’t any good Italian restaurants. Wow! Luckily, a random guy checking in overheard us and gave us a great recommendation to this place. It was lovely and a perfect place for dinner. Service — friendly and kind! Ambiance — cute and quaint! Food — yummy! We shared the appetizer special which was warm fresh mozzarella with prosciutto and roasted peppers atop. Tasty… but perhaps would be better with some flavorful bread. My entrée was delicious — spaghetti with baby clams. I loved it and it had a perfect amount of flavor — garlic, buttery, and lemon. Mmm… it was a great portion and loaded with flavor and clams. I only wish there would have been some warm, tasty bread. It was a boring white bread roll — cold. Lastly, the only other reason I’m giving it a 4 stars is because they didn’t have any chocolate dessert option. Otherwise, it was a great Italian restaurant.

Top notch italian cuisine. The owner of the restaurant is always there and always tries to come around to say hello. Strongly recommend the snapper dishes– and their sautéed spinach is to die for. Portions are generous and fair for the price. Might I recommend the fresh mozzarella as an appetizer?

Hubby and I were looking for some Italian food on a Friday night and stumbled into Ferrucci. It was a late dinner– probably about 8:30 and there were only a couple other parties in the place. Service was excellent, I wish I could remember our server’s name, she was fabulous. We started with the bruschetta and cocktails. Cocktails were good, they did NOT skimp on alcohol and the bruschetta was super yummy. They also served us fresh bread & oil but we were a little bread-ed out after the bruschetta! I ordered the«Pollo Alla Sorrentina» which is essentially chicken parmesan, topped with eggplant parmesan, served with spaghetti. It was delicious and HUGE. Had it for dinner and for lunch again the next day, was just as good heated up! My hubby ordered something that was a special, veal cutlets I believe. He enjoyed it thoroughly and cleaned his plate even though it was a HUGE portion. We will definitely be back the next time an Italian craving hits! Bonus: it’s in the downtown area of Panama City which is freaking ADORABLE. Looks like an old-timey town, it’s so cute.

Since my last visit, I moved out of state and haven’t been to Ferrucci’s in about a year. This past week I went with my family since it’s our favorite Panama City spot. As usual, the appetizers were delicious and the wait staff was somewhat accommodating of my diet(I’m a vegetarian). I went with the cheese pizza as my entrée and was slightly annoyed that I couldn’t have salad with it without extra charge even though I wouldn’t be sharing. The salad is always worth it so we paid extra! However, the pizza was SO disappointing. I got the margherita pizza which is typically my favorite type of pizza as it’s lighter and sweeter. I expected a lighter, more rustic looking pizza as they advertise it coming homemade straight from their oven. The pizza they brought to me was a cheese pizza — with the sauce and TONS of cheese. So much cheese that I couldn’t even lift up the slice of pizza to eat it without all the cheese sliding off. Very disappointing! Perhaps their other types of pizza are better but I’m not willing to ever that take that gamble. Stick with their signature dishes.
