Pana Roma Pizza & Pasta

Awful! I ordered pasta dishes for the family and was very dissapointed. Lasagna was flat and soupy and the sauce was bland. Chicken marsala had no sauce, not even a little bit. The Alfredo sauce tasted more like the sauce used in biscuits and gravy. The meatball calzone was ok. Im not sure how they have gotten so many good reviews. The girl working the counter was unfriendly and could care less about customers coming back.

I was craving a buffalo chicken pizza and my husband just wanted a reg cheese and mushroom. So we got half and half. Both sides were AMAZING! They accommodated us and I was happy we got both because I liked both sides! Delicious pizza very happy!

The eggplant parmigiana is outstanding. The best in Panama City. Just like my future mother-​in-​law made when I was dating my husband in CT. Authentic Italian dishes made from family recipes with the best ingredients. If you love Italian food this is the place, you cannot go wrong. Varied menu, fair prices, great lunch specials.

We ordered the yummy garlic knots, fried calamari, large Greek salad & large meat lovers pizza. Everything came out quickly, hot & fresh! Service was excellent!

Best Italian anywhere. Reminds me of the great Italian restaurants in New York City. Their chicken parmesan is delicious, but so is their veal parmesan and Italian sausage. The servings are huge. You will have to take half your meal home to enjoy it the next day. This is a family owned business and they truly understand Italian cuisine. The owner has been on site every time we visit. Great service, great food at a moderate price.

Frequent diner. Never disappoints. One of our favorite family restaurants in Panama City. Had lunch today for 5. Delicious and reasonably priced ($ 33 plus tip). Had various lunch specials. All great: hot and fresh tasting, including pizza, spaghetti, ziti and tomato soup. Service fast and efficient. Servers always friendly and attentive. Have seen other local restaurant owners dining here as well. Kid friendly with lots of convenient parking.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I had a Calzone and my co-​worker had Lasagna. We shared an order of garlic knots. Wait staff was attentive yet not bothersome.

Solid choice for pizza. My wife’s Meatball Parmigiana Sandwich was very good not too heavy as the marinara has a very light refreshing taste. It was on a half sandwich with a salad and drink for $ 6.50 daily special (Wednesday is meatball, eggplant or Italian meat combo but they have other specials). service was very good, the kitchen is small but well staffed and food was out quickly.

Stop what you are doing, get in your car, and go here. Location: convenient. Service: Awesome. Food: Unbelievable! Very helpful on the phone taking a reservation (for 8). Seated us immediately upon arrival. Brenda was on the job and handled our every wish quickly and completely. Drinks and salads/​appetizers arrived very quickly, as did the pasta prima. Chicken parmesan, delicioso. Spaghetti, primo. Shrimp pasta, excellente. My group included some very hungry 100% and 25% 3^rd and 4^th generation Italians. All agreed, the sauce (it’s all about the sauce) was THE BEST they ever had… sorry nonna. If you are looking for excellent Italian while at the beach, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend took me here when I was craving spaghetti. During the night, Pana Roma is dim lit. It gives the Italian vibe by the workers, music, and décor. I order spaghetti carrettiera. I asked my waitress for 3 meatballs, then she assured me that I wouldn’t need that much because they were big. I complied and ordered one. My boyfriend ordered a simple cheese pizza. We also both got sweet teas.
My meal came with a house salad, which by the way. I’m not a salad person, but I ate the whole thing. It was amazing. Their tea was also perfect. (I’m very picky about how sweet my tea is, and they were spot on) Then came our entrees. First off, the meatball was in fact huge, I’m glad the waitress told me to get only one. haha. But it tasted so great. The spaghetti was hands down the best spaghetti I have ever had. I also tried some of my boyfriend’s pizza thinking there was no way it would be as amazing as my spaghetti. Well, it was perfect. I’m a college student and I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life. (sorrynotsorry) And this pizza was just amazing. Like I’m talking about strings of cheese stretching from the slices and never breaking. That’s the perfect pizza.
I’m not usually highly impressed by Italian, but this place exceeded my expectations. Best Italian food in Panama city and great service.

Love love their garlic knots and antipasta salad!!! Only downfall is they’re closed on Sundays. Great food and they have a drive-​thru.

Stopped in again and had the special spaghetti with garlic bread and a drink. Delicious food and excellent service as aways.

Love this place! Very authentic sauces, dough, and pastas. Always stop by for take-​out on my way in to my PCB place from Tallahassee. Mom and pop establishment — everyone friendly. Took my grandson in with me and they treated him so well. And he chowed on their wonderful spaghetti and meatballs. And he is a picky eater. My favorite are the calzones. Make your own!

While in town from Chicago visiting family, we came in with a group of 10 on a Saturday evening. Our family said this is one of their favorite places and it did not disappoint.
I love the family feel of the place! We had a variety of entrees and of course started with the famous garlic knots. Service from Joyce was quick and friendly. She did a great job accommodating all of the requests from our large group and she was endlessly polite and patient! Food was great and I was really impressed with how well the spaghetti was cooked – perfectly al dente.
If we had time, we’d come back to try the pizza! We will stop in next time we come to town. Thanks, Tony and Carmela!

Meatballs were awesome… Pizza? Too thick and cafeteria-like…Garlic knots were delish! Eggplant Parmesan Sub, bland… Mussels were very good.

I came in for my first time to Pana Roma Pizza for lunch. I liked that there is a specific lunch menu (served until three) with Italian favorites galore. I was surprised by a couple of American choices like «chicken wings» on their appetizers menu especially because the advertising all over the restaurant states authentic Italian cuisine from authentic Italian’s. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing especially if you have fussy eaters or children just surprising.
I chose to keep it simple and order their lunch special fettuccine alfredo with chicken. It came with a side salad that I upgraded to their house Caesar. The greens were fresh and the dressing was pretty good. All in all a win.
My entrée was served with some freshly baked bread and looked appetizing. The pasta cooked well and the Alfredo sauce was stellar. For my personal liking the chicken cuts were left a bit large which I think it makes for awkward eating between pasta, chicken and trying to roll it on your fork. All said however, the sauce was the high point and everything was delicious!
Pricing was very reasonable and the service was great. My waitress was very attentive and I never felt abandoned. I will definitely come back next time hopefully for some pizza!

Great garlic knots. Friendly a compacting service. This is a must go restaurant. Family own and everything homemade.
