New York’s Famous Pizza & Pasta

The staff was very friendly and the food was so good. It wasn’t the BEST pizza I’ve ever had but omg it was enormous!!! The cheesecake was so light and fluffy and the mozarella stick batter they use. Oooooh. As a note, the zinfandel is rather sweet, so you may want the chardonnay. Definitely go try this spot.

I ordered delivery, it came ahead of the scheduled delivery time which was good. I had the NY special pizza: it was undercooked and tasted a little like cardboard. I also had the garlic knots and they look like garlic knots, but the amazing thing was there was no flavor, absolutely bland. I also got the tomzilla slop sub: it had chopped chicken tenders on it, nuff said it wasn’t good. Overall the ordering and delivery experience was great but the food was nothing more than bland pizzeria food and overpriced.

Well for starters that is not NY pizza. Nice try but not even close. Undercooked and tasted like you just opened the can of sauce! The steak sandwich was garbage. Cold meat, the bun was warm, the sauce sucked and the meat tasted old! Next, the way you treated your waitress was appalling! You are lucky that I didn’t decide to defend her efforts! Shame on you! Never again!

We use to order from here all the time because we loved their food, our go to place. I don’t know what happened but yesterday’s food was embarrassing. My spouse and I ordered a pizza (pepperoni and cheese) and entrée, when the not so pleasant man answering the telephone gave me my total I almost choked on my water. I couldn’t believe it was almost $ 30.00! I said oh well, its good food so we’ll treat ourselves. It took over an hour for our food to arrive but I didn’t mind a wait for quality food. When we opened our pizza and shells we took a bite and looked at each other immediately. Like wtf!!! Both our food (pizza and shells) were COLD!!! I don’t have a problem with the not so great customer service, the ridiculous price or the wait. What I do have a huge problem with is the not so happy ending!
New York’s, get your stuff together. What happened to restaurants wanting to give their customers their best? I should never receive cold food especially when you’re located less than 5 minutes away.
Guess we’ll be finding a new go-​to spot… Any suggestions are welcome.

Best pizza I’ve EVER had! Just the plain cheese is amazing. Soft, chewy crust, not over saucey and lots of ooey, gooey cheese! YUM!!!
The subs are off the chain too! Haven’t had one I didn’t like! You won’t leave disappointed or hungry!

To get an ok pepperoni and olive pizza and also a cheese bread that is ok only it took an hour and a half for delivery.. May be ok if you eat there but if you have less than 1.5 hours to wait for a pizza go else where.

Pizza is superb but the owner is super rude. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is nice. The servers are helpful and friendly. The owner on the other hand is very rude, he doesn’t even bother answering customers, say thank you nor simply smile. Would have rated it 5 stars but took one off because of the attitude of the owner.

The best pizzeria in Florida, with the ultimate New York experience, some people may think the owner is rude with his thick New York accent but he’s really not, nothing but professionalism when I’ve dined there. I love their cheesecake and I live in Crestview and I don’t mind making the hour drive just for the cheesecakes, besides the great pizza and cheesecake they have amazing Alfredo

I work on 23^rd Street not too far from this store. I ordered my 14″ Pizza and 20oz Sprite for $ 21.81 at 11:40 (11:44 according to the receipt) and did not receive the pizza until 12:55. The pizza was stone cold and hardened. I called the store back to make them aware and was told «My delivery guy has been back for 15min now». I guess he did not understand that it did not matter when the delivery guy got back the food was delivered cold. They did come pick up the cold pizza and refund my money, however, the customer service was very substandard. Will not eat here again.

I love their stuffed shells! Pizza is good for Florida. They only get 3 stars from me not because of the food but the customer service is poor.

Hubby ordered a buffalo chicken slice of pizza and it was a slice of cheese pizza with chicken tenders sliced up and I ordered 2 (yes 2) slices of pepperoni with jalapeños and black olives.
Overall, decent service and food for a quick pizza meal.

Visiting from Texas… amazing food… super fast delivery… ordered 2 separate times and both times the delivery time was well under the time they gave me… the prices are so reasonable… stumbled upon them through the phone book… best place out here that I have eaten at out here!!!

This was my preferred place to get a good slice, but after the rude service from one of the employees while trying to order I refuse to spend my money there ever again. Your customers are your lifeline, the only reason you have a business is thanks to your customers. You may think it’s okay to be rude, roll your eyes at your customers, or be a sarcastic smart ass, but in reality you’re only hurting yourself, the rest of the employees, and your business.

Awesome garlic knots. Awesome stromboli. Awesome pizza. What can I say? Everything is awesome.

Also, while the manager was busy, he was perfectly polite. I’ve seen some comments on the service, and so I was watching while I waited for my pizza to be cooked. All the employees were working, and I saw folks being taken care of. I’d definitely eat in no worries.

This review is for the customer service. Went here couple days ago, got sat down and brought drinks but never took my order. The waitress passed me couple times and took other customers order even tho I saw her look my way and I was ready to order. After a good 10 – 15 minutes I just walked out after she took 3 more NEW customers order that walked in after I did. Would love to try their pizza but if there’s no service, I don’t know if it’ll ever get to my table

We went back and this time had the NY special. Super delicious. Service was much better-​very attentive and prompt. You really need to visit this place. Sorry my photos are half eaten pizzas-​we couldn’t wait to dig in! :-)

I love eating the pizza at this place it’s super filling. It has that hole in the wall feel that I enjoy. The staff is usually down to earth and super nice. If you live on the beach they will meet you at the Hathaway Bridge to help deliver your pizza/​food.

This place was within walking distance from where I stayed and it is right next to the Panama City Mall. We were in the mood for pizza that night and it came out on top within the search for nearby places. The store is actually quite small with only a few tables there.
I was not hungry enough for a whole pizza, so I just went with their Chicken Calzone. I had it loaded with banana peppers and jalapeño. The dish actually turned out to be very good, as the chicken inside was lightly fried and moist inside. It got the right amount of cheese, and was not too greasy. The flavor had a nice balance to it.
I honestly did not expect food of this quality from this little strip mall pizza joint known as New York’s Famous Pizza & Pasta, it was definitely a surprise, and price was not unreasonable as well. I would definitely consider coming back here again whenever I am in this area again.
