Island Pizza

After loving this place for so long, I will no longer be ordering from here because of the extremely poor quality of the pizza we received. Being open until 4 am isn’t all that great if you can’t deliver an awesome pizza. We received a very badly made pizza, with little to non– existence sauce thrown into a box without a care, usually we didn’t mind the expense but this was the most disappointing experience with such a long wait time to boot. We used to love this place, and now we tell everyone not to order here. I hope to one day get the amazing pizza they sometimes serve, because if you happen to order on a night they care, the food is of the chain, but the cost isn’t worth a hit or miss.

Had the garlic balls and margherita pizza. The garlic balls could use more garlic but the pizza was good. Others have mentioned there was no décor but they have fixed that. Per my boyfriend, it’s a beach dive pizza joint. It has its mission of pizza, and it’s been met.

we got our pizza delivered to our hotel. It was good hot but not warmed up. We just got a large double peperroni but ened up throwing most away because it was only 2 of us but it wasnt good the morning after. We also got galric sance but it wasn’t good, they didn’t have cheese. I would give them another chance but get a smaller size and more toppings.

The best garlic pizza, good dough and not too greasy, after trying two other local places along the beach area. Salad is good too!

Not deserving of this one star. Ipad was acting up, not what I was mad about, I understand this is out of her control but due to this, we repeated our order several times. Waited about 30 plus minutes, received our order and it was WRONG! .Lady we repeated our order back several times… we changed 2 things on a specialty pizza and we didn’t even get the main ingredients on it let alone the change. this ended in a refund. Good Luck!

When we vacation, we try to experience local pizza, and this place had the best non-​chain Unilocal reviews in the area. In hindsight, we probably should have went to Marco’s. When we first walked into the restaurant, there was another woman there asking for her money back, because someone neglected to put in her order. Shoulda known then…
First question I asked was, can they do half and half pizzas. Yep, no problem. I ordered a half deluxe with no olives, and the other half the Tiki Torch. When we got back to our condo, the deluxe half was correct. However, the Tiki half only had ham and pineapple — basically a Hawaiian. Sauce was meh. Crust was meh. My kids enjoyed their pizzas. To the restaurant’s credit, I didn’t give them a chance to make this right. After reading below, I wasn’t confident it would be better after going back.
The kicker was, we’re sitting in the fairly empty restaurant (only seats for maybe 20?) and instead of giving us our food right when it was ready, they sat it on top of the oven. Meh. Sometimes, there’s a reason why chains have become chains. They do things mostly right.

Staying at a nearby hotel, I was surprised to see this place open so late. I asked if they had slices, but they didn’t. They have personal size pizzas which are about equal to 2 slices.
I ordered a rasta pizza, it had habanero peppers, chicken, green peppers, onions, and jerk seasoning. I thought the pizza was decent. Nice crisp, fresh crust. The toppings are hard to get onto a pizza that small, but I really couldn’t taste any jerk flavor or heat from habanero. I could taste the chicken, though, and it was really fresh. Overall, I was happy with my pizza, though.
Service was average, décor is non existent, beer is available, and they deliver really late. Cool.

I ordered carry out. The food was ready on time. The pepperoni pizza was really good. Josh waited on me and was very friendly and helpful. I would order from there again.

We stopped in for two large pizzas after a group run. The staff was helpful and friendly and the pizza was good. Guy kept apologizing for our wait, but we only waited 20 minutes for our pizza, which I didn’t think was any big deal. Try the typhoon. The staff recommended it, and it was pretty good. Kids liked the cheese pizza. My son loved the décor. They had beer specials. You could also sit outside.

Pretty good pizza. Ordered a late night snack and they delivered to our condo. It was nice, cheesy and greasy, just like we like it. They delivered in the time frame they said and the driver and order taker were very nice. It does cost a little more than the chain joints but worth it.

This pizza «joint» is small but quaint. Fun décor. We ordered a half Volcano /​half Loaded Pepperoni large pizza. Pizza was very fresh and full of flavor. $ 5 all you can drink draught beer is a great deal, although when we were there the kegs were down. No biggie — lots of bottled options. Owner was very friendly — great service. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting PCB with your family.

I ate here on my vacation and it was amazing pizza! I’m very picky because I work at a pizza place and I definitely was impressed. Island pizza is on the top of my favorites list! I had wings, cheese garlic bread, a salad and pizza on multiple occasions and it was all delicious. It’s a must visit.

Definitely coming back here, by far the freshest pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The dough was light and fluffy and wasn’t smothered in grease like other pizza joints, all the toppings tasted home-​grown fresh and the different choices you get to chose from are amazing! Im going with the Tiki Torch next time

The pizza here is on point!!! If youve ever been here before it has definitely changed since last year, but for the better! The staff was very nice and helpful!!! Thanks island pizza, i dont know what i would eat in pcb without you!!!

Great freshly made pizza. All toppings were 100% fresh, particularly the sausage stood out to me. Not a great atmosphere (the main reason I gave it a four star not 5). However they deliver until 4am, so it is great after you had a few brews. Pizza was huge, and cost a little more 25 dollars for one 18″ pizza with three toppings and two drinks. I would recommend this place over all of the chain pizza restaurants like Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and Marcos, but if you are looking for a atmosphere this isn’t your place.

$ 40 for 2 large pizzas delivered that were warm at best and lacked any flavor. A frozen pizza would have been better. Must of had bad luck because we heard good things about this place. I will say the driver was very nice.

Terrible. We ordered two calzones last night at about 9pm. When it arrived, at 11, it was cold. I was told 45 – 60 minutes on the delivery and after 1.5 hours called to ask, thinking maybe the order was lost. Eventually a delivery driver called me said he would arrive in 10 – 15 minutes «give or take». 20 minutes later and two hours after placing my original order the COLD food arrived. They gave me an order of cold garlic cheesy bread to compensate.
The calzone was all bread.
This place is horrible on customer service and delivery issues while being solidly below average on food.

We were in town on vacation and had a craving for pizza. My boyfriends family owns a pizza shop so we are pretty hard to please. Couldn’t have been happier with this place. Awesome pizza recipes and they were fast. The Tiki Torch was my favorite, but the cheeseburger pizza was awesome too. Nice Job Guys!

We ordered a medium Hula (Hawaiian) pizza, a small cheese pizza, and six chicken wings. The pizza was pretty standard fare, probably a little better than a national chain. We enjoyed the Hula with pineapple and ham. These sizes fed our family of four with four pieces left over. My son also ate the chicken wings by himself and said they were excellent.
We had the order delivered to our condo, and delivery was prompt. They said it would take 45 minutes and it arrived after around 35.

I went here last night with some friends after ditching the hour/​hour-​and-​a-​half wait for Mellow Mushroom.
This place is in a high-​traffic plaza – right next to Edgewater Beach Resort and where popular places such as Rock’it Lanes and Firefly are. There are actually TWO other pizza-​serving restaurants located in the plaza (CiCi’s and a place called Sweet Basil’s).
My friend and I split a small order of garlic-​parmesan bread balls and small SUNsational pizza (veggie). Like someone else has mentioned, the dough is really fresh. In both the pizza and the bread balls, the bread was firm and crisp on the outside and fluffy goodness on the inside. Not too squishy or spongey.
As for flavor, it felt really lacking. The garlic-​parmesan bread balls were more like just balls of bread. The veggie pizza was loaded with toppings, yet it still felt like something was missing. (The feta? I don’t remember seeing or tasting it on our pizza now that I think about it.)
Everything looked really good, but it just didn’t deliver for me! Maybe I got my hopes up, or maybe I’m not a pizza person.
Staff was very nice, but the girl at the register was kind of awkward.
