Papa John’s Pizza

I always do online orders for delivery. They always really fast.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I’ve ordered from here over one dozen times and the order has always been correct and the pizza has been awesome!

I suspect the reviews are so negative because the only time people will take time to rate a fast food or pizza chain is when they have problems. I ordered a three topping extra large pizza using online ordering. The pizza was ready within the specified 15 to 20 minutes and it was what I had ordered. Toppings were well distributed and the pizza was still hot. I only took off one star because I asked for well done and the crust was still a little bit doughy. Otherwise my experience was good and I would order from this location again.

Not surprised by the low rating. Multiple times I’ve ordered from this location online and gotten an email confirmation with a 30 – 40 minute wait time only to have my pizza show up almost cold 2 hours later. Not to mention the 3 times they have brought the wrong drink order out. I was understanding when it was spring break but that’s behind us. Only positive was the manager refunded my money this last time.

Ordered a pizza from Papa John’s and it was the worse pizza ever. The pizza for starters was cold. Then I bit into something that tasted awful. I had to spit it out right away. My girlfriend also had the pizza as well and had bit into something that tasted awful. Didn’t look like any ingredient on there menu. Then later that night we both threw up several times. I realized we had gotten food poisoning from Papa Johns Pizza.
I use to like Papa Johns pizza but this experience has left me and my girlfriend not ordering from here for a very long time, especially from this location.

I’m torn between giving this place one star or two. I don’t know.
Positives: good pizza, they always have deals online, simplicity of ordering online.
Negatives: Every time we order, it takes at least 50 minutes for our pizza to arrive. Once, we waited for two hours. Not joking. I feel like when you order online, it should let you know the current wait time BEFORE you place the order. I just ordered again and it says 40 minutes, but we’ll see. Honestly, I’m not sure why it ever takes that long because we’re only 10 minutes down the road. Whatever.

We ordered the Greek pizza. We were told it would be «30 minutes to an hour, maybe less». They took down my number wrong so couldn’t call me when they arrived at the hotel (we were waiting on the hotel patio area so we could eat out there). After an hour and 10 minutes, I called to see where it was and was told he was in the building and had other deliveries at the hotel, so he would get to us. Another 15 minutes passes and I call again. They informed me that the driver couldn’t call me and then realized they had my number wrong in the system. So the driver came back and gave us our hour old, not fresh pizza at full price. I don’t see why it took so long, it was sunny out and 2:00 in the afternoon, not exactly peak time.
