its great getting my bi-​weekly head buzz and chin trim from James at this unpretentious and real barbershop. only one barber on duty at a time so it might take a while but the client conversation can be fun.

I’m surprised this dump got 5 stars! I came in thinking I was going to get a quick haircut but instead I chose to walk out without one. The wait was going to be an hour to get a $ 20 haircut from James who I must say has a very short temper. Really James? Just because the poor kid wanted his hair done the way HE wants it doesn’t mean you have to snap at him like that. Totally unprofessional and immature. Im surprised you are getting any business at all you bitchy tweaker.

James gave me a great haircut! It’s fun hanging out with the regulars! I’ll be back!

Been looking for a regular no-​frills barber shop in Palm Springs for over a year. After numerous dissatisfying cuts, I thought I would just let it grow out for that California 60’s shag look. Not so good on a 55 year old man. So I found Joe’s on line, read the review and stopped in. James gave me a cut that I think is the best of my lifetime. Really. Called the style a prohibition era look, long on top into mid back, then sharply layered down in a 3−2−1 on the sides. Its just great. My barber, thoroughly enjoys his craft and skills and took his time doing a detailed and precise cut. I am a very very happy client.

James is our guy there. He is technically skilled in his craft personable and all around just great. We went there based on the reviews here on Unilocal.Not dissatisfied at all. My new barber! We just moved here and I was dreading trying to find someone. DONE,

Joe is the best barber/​hairstylist I’ve ever had! I’ve been to every barber shop in the Palm Springs and surrounding areas and have never found anyone who comes close to Joe. He is professional, funny, sweet and it is an all around great experience every time! Joe is there on Tues-​Friday check it out, you will be happy you did!

James (Fri/​Sat/​Mon) is a great barber. He took his time and sculpted my haircut and did a great fade. He even did my ears and eyebrows which I didn’t know needed work! I visit Palm Springs a few times a year and I’ll e coming back to this shop.

Joe is great. No drama, no shampoo boy or nail station; just great haircuts at a reasonable price and very little wait time.
If you know me (or just read my Unilocal reviews). you know how hard to please I am. Joe has never given me a bad haircut.

Needed a haircut while I was down here in Palm Springs, and I decided to try this place because it was near where I was staying. I’m always a little hesitant to get a haircut by someone new, but I really needed one. James gave me a fantastic haircut, he really took his time and made it look really nice, both modern and clean.

Joe is a fantastic barber. I went in with a bad haircut I received from another barber a week earlier. Parts were too short while other areas were too long. Joe was able to make it all make sense and look good. I would not have picked this cut before but now it is my new look. I have gotten compliments on it and Joe is absolutely my new barber.

Armando is the best barber and friendliest I’ve been to in Palm Springs. His rates are very reasonable for such good /​fast work
