Don’t ever go here… EVER. Worst haircut in ten years! I asked for a trim and got scalped. 22 bucks + tip to get butchered. Where this cat learned to cut hair… is a mystery. I had to buzz my whole head down to nearly an inch to fix the frankenstien/hitler haircut I received. Good thing things like this don’t bother me, or I’d be super PISSED!

Wow — things have changed. He was the best barber around, but I left town for a couple years, came back, and everything’s different. I’ve gotten two out of two bad cuts from him now. I won’t go back for a third. Now he’s cranky and argumentative. If he doesn’t like the cut you want, he won’t do it — he’ll just go on and do what he thinks is better. I kept having to drag him to cut the top shorter, which he didn’t want to do. He then complained about the hair product I wore, which supposedly gummed up his clippers(no one else ever complained about this), and twice out of twice he’s cut the back of my neck while doing the straight razor trim. Maybe he’s now past it. All I want is what I ask for, but he’s unwilling to do it without a fight. Look guy, I’m paying YOU. If I want an argument, I can just stay at work. I’m not going back for bad cut #3 in 2015.

A REALLY sloppy fade. Uneven, un-blended lines. Didn’t even use a straight razor. Shouldn’t call itself a barber shop. Go somewhere else for a quality fade.

My first time writing on Unilocal a bad thing, but this guy charged me $ 40 to buzz my beard off and shave my head. was done in 10min time and with messing up my face. i hope he gets some one knew to cut hair out of his shop. He is a scam and i hope he has to pay good money to take off this review.

It isn’t just for my haircut anymore. New services include footwork and manicures by Lisa formerly of Nail Pros Palm Springs, who also has a very new chair massager! It’s a mini spa hour over there. «.» Go.

Great barber. I drive from LA to get a haircut from this guy. Just like the previous reviewer, I love to visit Kim and have him fix my hair from my la barber! Went last week again and he was extraordinary

KIMISTHEBESTINPALMSPRINGS!!! I recently returned from a month long visit to NY and I had my hair cut there and it wasn’t KIM who did it and there were a lot of mistakes. I walked right into his shop and pointed to my head and with his great big smile he went to work and had my hair fixed in minutes. He is the best barber in the entire coachella valley. TRULY. Those other reviewers are actually not great reviewers because if you look, they only 1 star people and don’t use Unilocal for the right way to review. You should go to a place at least 3 times or do business that is so complimentary they knock your socks off. I am a genuine reviewer and take pride in complimenting people when they do a good job!

I recently went back to wearing a flat top and finding a barber who can cut it perfectly is quite a feat. Barbers tell me that it is one of the most difficult styles to cut. Kim has cut my hair several times now. I don’t know how he does it, but it is absolutely square and flat and the blend on the sides is seamless. I’ve also seen Kim do many other styles while waiting from Ivy league classic cuts to contemporary fades. All looked sharp! I don’t think you can go wrong with Kim!

Kim is simply the best barber in town. When I started coming to Palm Springs 2.5 years ago I tried about 3 barbers before finding Kim. Now I refuse to let anyone else cut my hair. Kim is the only barber I’ve ever had that knows how to do skin fades and properly blend it. Def would recommend him as he is not only phenomenal but also affordable(I get my haircut every 1.5 weeks).

Worst Place! New in town, went in for a cut, showed him what I wanted and he did nothing that I wanted. Ended up having to find another place to fix his patchy haircut that he gave me. Don’t waist your time or money going here.

I needed a haircut badly and just as I was leaving a big parking structure in Palm Springs, there was a barber shop! I just went in and waited a few minutes and Kim started on me. As has already been pointed out, Kim is very focused on your head, knows what he’s doing, and is quick about it. Nice job!

HORRIBLE!!! Haircuts are $ 18 and with his quality, he should be charging $ 8. The haircut was neither good nor bad… it just wasn’t worth $ 18. I have a round face and other barbers have been able to shape my hair to sorta square my face and he didn’t. He didn’t even put any product in my hair. My single biggest complaint is the shave. He charges $ 20 for the worst shave of my life!!! I had 3 days growth on my face and he started with the clippers he uses for cutting hair… thats right, he buzzed my face. Then he started shaving me with the absolute cheapest disposable razor(the kind you get in a 10pk from the $.99 store). It hurt so much I made him stop. He kept insisting that he was going to make a 3rd pass over my face with a straight razor, but it was obvious he had no idea what a good shave should be. I didn’t want him finishing. My face has razor burn from the cheap disposable razor. Way over priced for the low quality hair cuts he gives. With as bad as his shaves are, he shouldn’t be doing them at all!!! BAD… HORRIBLE…Shave HURTS!!!
