Food is fresh and service is quick. Love this place! Definitely recommend the crab cakes and fish tacos.

We will be back to try menu items that looked good. Being from New England this type of restaurant is very appealing. I found the batter a little to dense. I would love to see this fine establishment prepare fried items in a batter like Kelly’s of Revere beach. Fries were terrific. Service wonderful.

Usually make a stop here when nearby visiting my Mom, its the only time she gets to eat whole belly fried clams, something we grew up with as a delicacy going to Rudy’s in Oceanside NY. The place is never crowded — its a little bit off the beaten path in a very small(and odd) strip of stores, but food is consistent and the selection is large. Complete menu from appetizer to dessert.

Unbelievable good! My gf was always crying for the 5 star taste! The first time we had the seafood paella and seafood bowl(linguine with seafood) which were not cheesy like we had in other restaurants but fresh! Fried oyster was good as well! Definitely will comeback!

I’ve always loved Lola’s food, especially the fish tacos. On my most recent visit, the food earned a solid 5 stars. However, I totally lost my appetite when a roach walked across my table. Please make an effort to clean!

Absolutely fabulous seafood at reasonable prices and very nice portions. Food is fresh. Order at the counter, sit down, and they bring you s delicious meal. A new favorite for our family. Also they have great kids meals even though it isn’t on the menu.

Best fried shrimp I’ve had in a long long time. Coleslaw is also excellent. Fried fish was very good. Crab cake and blackened grouper sandwiches were above average but not extraordinary. All in all, a very solid and affordable fast casual restaurant with fantastic fried seafood. Also, wonderful service!

Place was surprisingly empty, however the menu was expansive, the staff were nice and the food was good. The Conch fritters are large and easily should be shared amongst four people. The crab roll was a little bland, I would of preferred it to have some Cajun seasoning or something to bring out the sweet crab flavor. The stuffed clam was on point and I would order again. I don’t know why this place was not busy, they had all sort of seafood favorites, especially if you are from the New England, New York area.

This was my first time here, probably my last. The service was fair and when my food arrived to my table it was cold. It was pretty expensive for lunch. My wife had a shrimp poboy consisted of mostly bread and four shrimp. Not a good first impression.

Awesome food and awesome service. My family and I stopped here for lunch on vacation. Portions are generous and my dish looked amazing. As a New England’er that knows her seafood I give Lola’s a 5 out of 5.

myself and a friend went to Lola’s Saturday 9÷26÷15 at around 3PM. there was only one table occupied. the women who took our orders was completely incompetent. I have a spinal cord injury and walk with two canes. I ordered my meal, the three choice platter, onion rings and 2 Heinekens. she had so much trouble taking my order I was embarrassed for her. she told me the receipt wasn’t working. a lie as when we left my friend ordered something to go from another worker and the receipt worked fine. the woman waiting on me opened both beers at the same time and pushed them towards me. remember the two canes? she asked me three times at the counter what had I ordered. my friend brought the beers to the table and we sat down. she came to the table twice to verify my order now were up to five times now. when the food came my order was wrong. I drove from WPB for the whole belly clams and got strips, remember the 5 times I repeated my order? they have salt & pepper grinders on the tables :-) when I picked up the salt grinder it was so greasy I used a napkin to grind it. shortly after that I used the salt shaker to try to kill the COCKROACH that ran across the table in front of me. when I called the woman over she said I’m sorry and walked away. since we were now the only customers in the restaurant she could have offered to move us to a clean(if there was one) table. nope, the food was very good but the whole time I was eating I was still creeped out about the cockroach and wondering where it went. when we were leaving there was a younger woman at the register so I asked for the manager and was told she was not there, apologized for what happened. no comp on anything as any restaurant with cockroach’s on the tables would do. there is never only one. all she did was took my name and number and told me the manager Denise would call me when she came in. I’m still waiting for the call. bye bye Lola’s, and I’ll be more than happy to warn people away from there. no wonder the place was empty on a Saturday.

Stopped by Lolas last weekend after finding them on Unilocal looking for a place to have an after lunch before dinner snack with my sister. Immediately after walking in I was unimpressed with what appeared to be dirty/unkept tables. It also was completely empty, granted it was around 4pm. Me and my sister decided to share a crab cake basket(around $ 13 bucks) and ate in. This is when things changed. The food was great and my sister is very particular about sweet potato fries and she was in heaven! It prompted us to try a dessert recommended by Stephanie who was also a delight. We had key lime pie that was good enough but just to rich for even 2 people to finish. All in all I’d return but as I don’t live near by I probably won’t go out of my way.

I was at Lola’s last year(August 2014) and I forgot to review it. I’m on my way back to the area in August and I am getting ready so I couldn’t remember the name of that place where I had the best Lobster Roll! So, of course, I googled it and found it. .. Lola’s. Until Lola’s, I had never tried a Lobster Roll(and I won’t tell you how old I am, but I’m no spring chicken)…it was so delicious I wish I had bought 2. Anyway, I’ve since tried other Lobster Rolls in the DC area and I have yet to find one as good as Lola’s. See you in August!

Found this place on a whim on here :) first time here and can’t believe that I never knew about this place!!! Ordered the shrimp and fish basket and the Lola salad for $ 14.73…worth every penny. DELICIOUSNESS! I like that you can opt for the side salad instead of fries and Cole slaw. Food was hot and a short wait period. The salad was a little quirky with cheese, black beans, corn, cranberries, and a cilantro vingerett. Different I know, but tasty. The shrimp were fantastic and so was the fish. Not greasy and both were super meaty. They get two thumbs up from me!

I hadn’t noticed this place until I saw it on Unilocal and we had to try. It’s a little pricey but equivalent to any sit down restaurant in the area. Staff is super helpful and friendly. And the fish tacos and dolphin sandwich were really fresh! Bottleneck fries and Lola’s slaw are the perfect touch for a taste of something different!

You can’y go on a trip to Florida and come home without having had seafood. Well, I suppose you can, if you don’t like seafood, but if you do… Not much that I can add about this eatery located in a strip mall. The basic fish and chips were very good. The fish was nice and crispy with a light batter. At too many places, the batter overwhelms the fish, but not so here. The fries were also crispy with soft interiors, the best combination for fries. Cole slaw was pretty good too, although not huge serving. This is a semi-self-serve place, where you order at the counter and have the meal brought to you. The wait was only about five minutes or so, which is not bad. Next time I might try the lobster roll or one of the other offerings. All in all, this is a place I would go to again.

Ordered crab cakes with a salad, Whole belly clams and seafood Paella. This is more of a self service kind of place. You walk in, order at the counter and seat yourself. Self serve drink refills. The woman behind the counter took the order, very friendly and brought us our food. I am originally from Connecticut, therefore it’s a treat to find a place serving whole belly clams. In Connecticut, usually the bellies are bigger but never the less, smaller bellies are better than nothing. My husband enjoyed his Paella but the portion is sort of small for the price. Rice cooked with saffron was cooked perfectly. I would had given this 5 stars however the crab cakes were cold.

Can the food be so good, and the service so bad? Several customers came in for small business Saturday, and Bernard the owner, unbelievably, didn’t want to make small transactions on the Amex cards. In fact, he had the poor server so scared, she was afraid she was going to lose her job. Bernard, shame on you. Your customers were trying to support small business Saturday, and businesses like yours, and you ruined the whole experience for everyone!

I stop here each time I visit the area. Excellent lobster rolls, fries, and amazing conch fritters! There is usually a coupon available in the local newspapers or online for a few bucks off the lobster roll.
