For the price it works. A huge variety of American fare that anyone would be able to find a favorite. i think it’s the type of place that takes a few visits to find it though. A great place to have a beer and cheap eats with friends. i had an $ 18 ribeye that is cheaper and better than Outbacks. The steak and cheese was very good, to include very tender prime rib as the meat!

I come for the trivia and not the food. Food has been mediocre every time. Veggies aren’t always crisp and more than once they have been wilted in salads.

After coming here with a friend on Thursday night, I would never come back. Even if the specials are good, you get what you pay for here. The only reason I’m giving this two stars is the free flatbread after signing up for their email list. All in all if you want something edible spend your time and money somewhere else. Food: This is where everything went wrong. For my meal I ordered the cheeseburger flatbread and the prime rib special to split with a friend. You would expect an appetizer to come out before the meal. NOTHERE! First the prime rib came out 30 seconds after ordering, there was no way it was cooked fresh. The prime rib was overcooked and very fatty, and was colder then my refrigerator in the middle of the summer. The potato that comes with it had a sheet of salt on it. I touched it and the salt fell onto my plate. There must have been ¼ cup of salt on my potato. Disgusting. I returned this and ordered the chicken fajitas instead. Then the flatbread finally arrived, and it was much smaller then it looked in the picture. It tasted very salty and was not hot at all, and was not cut properly so I had to rip it into chunks. Finally the fajita arrived, and was just as bad as the other food. The sides for the fajita were skimped on and had no taste at all. The fajita shells were all stocked together as if it was out of a plastic container. The food comes on a hot cast iron skillet, but was doused in water and salt. There was no caramelization on any of the vegetables, as if they were microwaved and then thrown in the hot plate to make it look authentic. The chicken looked microwaved as well. Also who charges for Guac on Mexican food? Drinks: okay prices, not the greatest selection of wine and cider, but if you are a beer person you’ll enjoy the cheap drinks on tap. I was charged twice for a soda that has free refills, and had to correct my waitress. In a restaurant where this is your job you shouldn’t try to slip this stuff passed people. It’s very unethical. Servers: very friendly, however after ordering our server never took the menus so we had to put them on the side of our booth. The food came before the drinks which is very unexpected. I enjoy drinks before my food comes which was a disappointment. Atmosphere: ok for an ale house. What you would expect: booths and stools, nothing special here.

I have been here a few times now. Tonight I went for for a late dinner around 10pm on a Sunday. Ordered a ribeye rare with a baked potato and side salad(extra charge). My friend ordered a ribeye as well medium with fries and broccoli. My ribeye came out cooked on point but my friends was a little overcooked and his sides were a little skimped on. The restaurant wasn’t very busy at this time. A nice atmosphere. Food came out quickly. Went on a wednesday afternoon to watch the USA vs Jamaica soccer game around 6pm. It was raining and the game got cut off since they have satellite TV. I ordered a flatbread BBQ chicken appetizer which was really good. You get one free when you sign up for their rewards. I ordered the Southwest Steak Bistro salad as an entrée and it is a really delicious salad. I’d recommend it to anyone.

Your basic beer bar. They do have rotating daily specials some that include lobster and prime rib so, that sets it a part. Adequate service reasonalble price. Nothing to get too emitted about.

I’ve always been a fan of ale house’s. Some of them I don’t like, but this one is awesome. Sometimes we get bad wait staff, but the majority of the time it is great. Love the food, drinks, and prices.

I went here Christmas Eve with the entire inlaw family. I first came in and asked for a table for 7, and they quickly brought me to it as I waited for everybody else(it took them all another 15 minutes to get through the door). I understand that there was one person sitting at a large table, but it would have been nice if the waitress had stopped by the table within the first 10 minutes. I wasn’t in the mood for a burger and was deciding between the Chicken Nachos(all for me) and the Fajitas. The SIL got the fajita, so I opted for the Chicken Nachos, while the better half got the Fish and Chips(when will she learn?). MIL got the mini burgers, and they came out to her satisfaction. We’ll start with drinks first. I got a double shot of vodka Gimlet. It tasted strong at first, but then I mixed it with the straw and it mellowed out. The real disappointment about this drink, for me, was that it was a double shot and I didn’t feel a thing. I finished 90% of the drink before the food arrived, I should have felt something! Wife got a Margarita which she enjoyed. MIL got a diet coke. This is where I take issue. Her Diet Coke, my water, SIL’s water, wife’s water didn’t have any ice in it! Fine, that’s an exaggeration, what ice it did have was small and no more than 5 pieces(NOT an exaggeration). As for the food, the sides for the Fajitas came out a good 10 – 15 minutes before the food did, that was weird and also started to make the cheese/tomatoes, etc not that enticing. The Fajitas themselves were actually pretty good, well cooked steak, a good medium rare/medium, and it came with four tortillas — good job. However, my wife’s Fish N Chips had way too much breading, making the fish pretty darn thin and not that much of it. Oh, and the fries were lukewarm when they came to the table, and COLD by the time I reached for my fork to grab one from her! My Chicken Nachos… I was told that there was layer upon layer of cheese and goodness on chips, but almost all the filling and cheese was on the top layer(notice I did NOT say top layerS). Also, when it came out the sourcream and jalapeño were on just one side of the Nachos, disappointing. There really wasn’t nearly enough cheese. It was kind of funny, at the end of the meal I asked everyone if we needed a box, there was a RESOUNDING«No» to that answer! Here’s why I’m giving 2 stars: 1) Not enough cheese or topping on my Nachos 2) No guac on my Nachos 3) Cold fries 4) Paper thin and too much breading on the Fish n Chips 5) No ice in water or Coke 6) The server could have stopped by more frequently, or at least not be gone for our entire area for 20 minutes at a time I also asked the MIL and her uncle and FIL for feedback, here is theirs: Pros: 1. Variety of TV programs and high quality of tv screens 2. When asked to turn the volume down, they did(though marginally) Cons: 1. Not good at accommodating groups — I personally disagree with this, they were looking for a booth that sat 7 people What does 2 stars mean to me? If I can, I will try to never go again — 1 star means I will complain like a 2 year old baby to never go back somewhere and not even a therapist could strike it from my memory.

I really love this place it has a special place in my heart. Have spent thousands of dollars here at lunch over the past 10 years. But you really have to watch the help. The food is very good and the managers are also very good. Any problems ask for one.

Food was good, when it finally arrived. We waited 15 minutes before we asked the hostess who our server was. Eventually the server arrived and took another 5 minutes to get the drinks. We ordered nachos, which were delicious. We never placed an actual order because the waitress marissa never came back to the table. I was highly disappointed and would not come back to this establishment again.

10 years ago if Unilocal was around this place would have gotten a solid 4 stars from me. Unfortunately corporate America and greed has taken over. The specials have all gone to crap, places are getting run down and not remodeled. Not to mention the normal crowds changed for the worse.

First: Marlene is the best! Now the rest if the review. Normally we don’t get the proper service, because we are younger… and ageism is a problem when we go out. Marlene always treats us with respect and is very quick and friendly. Food is good drinks are cheap too.

Went here 2 weekends in a row. Am a big Ale House fan and used to frequent the Boynton location a lot. I LOVE the zingers. Had a cup of clam chowder and it was delish. I had an order of the zingers with some blue cheese and my boyfriend had the British burger. Food was excellent and service(as always) was great. Will go whenever I’m in the area.

When we landed in Florida my husband and I were starving! We asked my cousin to take us somewhere with big portions and she chose this place. Their Chicken Nachos are HUGE… I would have gotten a picture of it but everyone started to dig into it before I could. It fed four people and there was still a bit left over! I was craving seafood so I got the Twin Lobster entrée it was only like $ 15.00 which I thought was a great deal! It hit the spot and luckily it was sweet and not salty. The patio was busy so we chose to eat inside because I just needed to unwind. I wanted to talk and catch up with my cousin so it was ideal to sit inside because it was too loud outside. I think the Ale House offers good food for a great price.
