My husband and I have been big fans of this event for several years in a row but this past year was poorly managed and a rip-off. We bought VIP tickets as always and were shocked when half the participating restaurants packed up and left by 8:15 when the event was scheduled until 9:30. The VIP seating was inadequate to handle the number of guests. There were less food selections than in prior years and those present were too heavy on desserts. Moreover, we never had a chance to sample the desserts because they left before we could get to their tables. If a restaurant commits to this event, they should be required stay until the end. All in all, a disappointment.

Pretty sure something weird is going on in those parking lots. Been there twice in a short period of time what’s up with the girls in the parking lot looking for help. Or … What’s the deal. What are the really looking to do get them out of there creepy !!

My boyfriend and i went with friends this year for the first time! I have only been to the Boca Food and Wine Festival in the past. Both are great festivals but this one seemed much bigger and it was definitely less expensive! There was so much to eat and drink I had to throw in the towel much earlier that i would have liked to! Everything was amazing, there was lots of variety and plenty to eat. I was impressed that even though the lines were long they moved quickly. I do agree with the other reviewer that there were not enough places to sit.

Legacy Place has one of my favorite food and wine festivals. This year it was held on April 25. My husband and I have gone several times and we’ve always had a good time. They have a lot of vendors offering a good selection of food and wines. The serving sizes were pretty good, and the only problem was filling up before getting to each table. This event is not usually very crowded, although a few of the tables had lines. Fortunately the lines went quickly. There were a few places to sit but it would have been nice to have more. It’s hard to eat with a plate in one hand and a drink in the other. People who found a table or a bench were reluctant to give it up. I like the plaza where they hold this event. The lighting is good, there are beautiful plantings, and you have a nice view of the lake. They had a small stage set up with good music. It’s a fun event that we look forward to every year. The Good; Plenty of food and wine. Not terribly crowded. Good location. The Bad: Needed more places to sit. Many of the food and wine festivals have vendors that run our of food and clear their tables about half way through the event. This one had plenty to eat and drink until the end.
