This is by a very wide margin the best vintge stock location in the city. The employees are polite, the store is clean, the merchanise is alphabetized, priced and labeled correctly. The store on metcalf isn’t in the same league.

Vintage Stock has a variety of products for the young adult male looking to rekindle his childhood memories of action figures. The demographic might also include the teenager wishing to hop on the band wagon of trendy games, posters, paraphernalia and the like. Used games, movies and music are the typical fare, but the staff seems to keep up a good quality control on purchasing and selling only used products that will actually work for the next owner. The main attraction, of course, are the toys. Remember that action figure you loved as a kid? Well, it’s here. Try not to think too long on the separation anxiety that came with the previous owner parting with any item nor on your own memories of how your own toy was carelessly broken, castoff or (ahem) sold…
As compared to the Vintage Stock on Metcalf, the organization and display here is head and shoulders above the Metcalf location. The toys are posed by the staff giving the merchandise a fun and attractive presentation (rather than the cast off appearance of someone’s pawned away childhood waiting to be purchased by the potential next owner).
