I live in the Chicago area but am in the Kansas City area frequently. Invision Eyewear was receommended to me by a friend and I have been getting my eyewear from Invison for the last several years. The have a great selection and courteous staff. They told me what to expect from my insurance coverage so I could get the best deal possible. I would hghly recommend Invision!

I’ve been a client of Invision for about 12 years now. The staff and ownership have always treated us with great service and compassion. When my daughter accidently broke her first pair of glasses, Julie and Elias worked with us to get her a replacement pair fast at a reasonable cost. I currently own two pairs from Invision glasses and love the quality. This family owned shop is superior to the big box corporate stores in that their attention to detail has always been more personal.

There’s a really nice selection out, most are high end brands. I started by looking at the Ray Bans and one of the employees told me they were only for men. She stood next to me and continued to tell me that they were only for men. First off, Ray Bans are unisex. Also if I want to take a look at mens, that shouldn’t be a big deal. I moved down the line and the woman continued to follow me. She wouldn’t even let me pick up the glasses! How am I supposed to try them on? I asked her to unlock the Tiffany display case because I had been looking at a pair online and wanted to take a closer look at. She told me they were for paying customers only. At that point I was tired of being treated as a thief and took my business elsewhere.

This was one of the most inept eyeglass retail experience I have ever had. I bought glasses from them, due to a stigmatized focus, my eyewear needs to fit into the frame with a curvature. I was fooled into believing that my insurance would cover a large amount of this retailers expensive price tag, for what turned out to be inferior lenses and frames… covering the mall lease I assume. Within weeks I had scratches on a supposedly scratch resistant frame. On the other pair, the lens would not stay in the frame. Took it to them for repair. After several failed attempts to properly fix the glasses, they used glue to secure the lens… GLUE. THEBIGGESTNONOINFRAMELENSREPAIR. We also have a serious RACISM element going on in this establishment. Be a good steward over your hard earned money… STAYAWAY!!!

I have an older pair of Rēvo sunglasses that I enjoyed for years but the right temple broke. The pair was so old Rēvo no longer manufactures the model. I’ve tried other Rēvo styles but nothing beat this one pair. Crystal here at Invision Eyewear spend 2+ hours and finally found a set of temples that fit. While not the original no one could not tell. They match wonderfully. And it is the lens and shape that I cared about the most. I can not thank Crystal and others at Invision who worked with her to bring my old friend back to life and on my head once more. This pair has traveled literally around the world with me and I trust will make more trips in the future — all thanks to the effort of Crystal and team.
