Service is bad. Food is decent. Not sure why I keep coming back. Corporate, get your stores is order please.

WORST Fuzzy’s I’ve ever been to. Dirty employees, dirty floors, dirty tables, extremely slow service. Don’t waist your time going here. Wouldn’t be surprised to see this place closed down within a year.

DOYOURSELF A FAVORANDDONOTEATHERE. We were given gift cards to Fuzzy’s and read all the reviews before using them. After reading all the bad ones we thought, «It can’t be that bad, and if it is, at least its free». Well, it was that bad. As many have mentioned service was extremely slow. It took us 20 minutes to get two combo platters. Amazing considering a combo platter is just an enchilada and a taco with sides. Even the managers and employees were laughing about how long it took to get our food out. The manager told us how she was shocked to run to the gas station and come back and still have us there. Honestly i’m glad they didn’t offer any compensation for the delay b/c the food was absolutely horrible. The two enchiladas we had, one chicken and one shrimp tasted like they came out of a vending machine. The grilled chicken hard shell taco and soft shell spicy pork were so bad. The only flavor in any of the food was salt. We both had rice as a side and half the rice in each of our portions was hard, so either under cooked or stale. We ended up throwing most of meal away. I really can’t comment on other Fuzzy’s locations, but its hard to imagine the flavor of things is much better. Honestly I’m so happy we didn’t spend real money on our dinner and if i were you, I would say try taco bell before trying this. You’ll be happy you did. If you are like us and someone gives you gift cards, at least they sell alcohol so that might be a good way to use them. That or a white elephant gift could save you as well. Is zero stars an option???

Terribly slow service. It took 15 minutes for a quesadilla then another 20 minutes for sopapilla chips. There were dirty utensils and when we told them they were dirty the employees said they were clean and the cashiers were responsible for wiping them off. Not what you say when you are told utensils are dirty, I washed them off myself with water and a napkin. Our food was also cold when we got it. The food tasted just okay, nothing I would try again.

I stopped by Fuzzy’s for lunch on my way to the Museum at Prairiefire. The theme was odd for a Mexican restaurant, but I dug it all the same. There was almost a rustic feel and the walls and tables were decorated in bright colors with cartoony fish. It was a lot of fun. I tried the taco meal which came with two tacos and two sides. For my tacos, I picked a soft and hard shell taco. For my sides, I picked the borracho beans and lime rice. The food was delicious. The tacos are topped with a garlic sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, cilantro, and feta. They were familiar, but new all at the same time. The borracho beans are cooked in beer with bacon and special seasonings. I don’t really care for beer, but these were delicious. The only area that I didn’t like was the customer service. I arrived a bit early for lunch. There were a few customers waiting for their food, but nobody in line to order. There was no cashier in sight. I stood at the register for several minutes with the folks in the kitchen glancing over periodically, but not making any moves to assist or find someone who could help. I almost walked out when one of the guys in the kitchen finally told the cashier I was there and she came out. If it wasn’t for the poor service I received, I would probably have rated this a 4. If I find myself in the area, I’d return and give them another shot for sure.

Dear fuzzy taco(135th location) I love this chain. But please learn the basics — tortillas need to be warmed before putting in the filling. Portion the amount of cheese, meat and lettuce. If they oder a cheese taco then great, balance is the key. If this location is going to stay open, please go and get training at the state line location. They rock it out everytime.

The tacos are mediocre. I had the crawfish taco and it had 4 pieces of crawfish on it. LOL. I really enjoy the breakfast tacos so I’ll stick with those.

After waiting an inordinate amount of time in line while the only cashier chatted away with the cooks, I finally was able to place my order. Okay, no big deal, I wasn’t in a hurry. However, upon getting my plate the disappointment really began. I’m wondering if they were watching my waistline for me, as it seemed they were afraid of giving me too much chicken on my chicken fajita plate. The few nuggets I did get luckily had some good flavor, though I couldn’t say the same for the wilted lettuce and bland onions and single pepper strip. But, pico! Pico is always the savior! Sadly, the little pile of mush brought me no solace. Basically, my boyfriend summed it up the best: Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is an upscale, more expensive Taco Bell, except I think I’d much rather grab a 79 cent bean and cheese burrito.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Took my Son. I ordered taco plate and tacos had around 1 teaspoon COLD ground beef, few pieces of cheese. My refried beans were cold and gross! Cilantro lime rice barely warm but undercooked. We complained and they remade food and apologized but not much difference. The one in Lawrence is awesome! Will never go to this location in OP! Also, tables were dirty and to sit we had to wipe our own table as good as we could. Silverware was so dirty I didn’t want to eat with it!!! BADFUZZY!!! NEVERAGAIN! No friggin stars!!! Only had to put one to be able to post it!!! N O N E!!!

The short and sweet is the food is decent and the service is just OK. The tacos I had were good but not amazing, the black beans were way too salty the rice was average. I would prefer tacos from one of the many other authentic places in town. If we come back I will try something other than tacos, maybe the nachos that I saw at other tables because they looked amazing.

Not bad I guess. $ 2+ for one taco. Fresh veggies a plus and good flavor but mine were cold the moment I picked them up at the counter. Flavor is good and it is a comfortable place to be – well lit and room to sit. I was disappointed that several people in the food prep area had very long hair and no hats or nets. Leaves me concerned about food prep quality. If they miss that basic rule, what else do they miss?

Taste and value are high. This new Fuzzy’s Tacos has a lot of potential. After some issues during our first visit, we came back and many of those issues with execution were resolved. First off, the name. I’m reminded of other places like Pink Taco in Phoenix or The Big Wang in Gaithersburg. Fuzzy’s Tacos is funny, irreverent, and a hard name to explain to the kids why you and mom are chuckling about it. It doesn’t help that there’s a big stuffed fish inside with their logo on one end and«eat me» on the other. Once you get past the name and up to the counter, you have many tasty options. It’s almost like a bar, but not quite. The décor reminds me of several past bars I’ve frequented, and the food options kind of follow suit. Once you get your food, however, it is clear that someone put some love into these creations. The prices are low and the taste is high :-) Let me really hit this bar theme home… There are TVs everywhere(bar), big long painted wood booths in the middle(bar), stools and high top tables around the windows(bar), and a long bar against a wall with stools to sit at(uh. bar). There is graffiti on the columns(bar), a painted wood railings for line control at the door(bar). The only thing they are missing is the actual bar. The first time I went, they had trouble getting the order filled because of some point of sale issues. Future visits didn’t have issues. And the friendly gal that took our order didn’t have anything to recommend because she was too new, but on later visits had favorites and suggestions. When we had problems on the first visit, the manager stepped in and got us our order fast — after I mentioned the wait — and they gave us extra chips and queso to take home. Overall, the taste and crunchiness of the tacos were superb. The value and flavor for the burrito that my wife ordered was also above average. This is a place that’s great for grabbing a couple tasty tacos and watch a Game on the TVs.

Not worth stopping. This place apparently is trying to give off a hip, cool vibe. They run happy hour beer specials or something, but can’t imagine anyone coming here for a beer. It’s basically fast food in a kitschy environment. Ordered the chicken tacos. Servings were very small and taste was bland at best. The cilantro rice was under-cooked(crunchy pieces of rice!). Worst though, the place was filthy. Cleaning supplies out in the open, customer trash laying around and on the floor. There was no line, yet a load of employees standing around. Advice: pick up the trash and quit burning up time yakking with each other and acting cool. Won’t be going back.
