This location is closed. My husband and I are so bummed. We were looking for a good GF breakfast. Boo.

Not sure if they are still in business or not! Definitely not open Mon-Sun 8−4…tried coming here twice, first was a Monday at 10 and then today, a Tuesday at 9:30. Door locked & someone in there, two attempts are enough!

My friend and I were celebrating the 10 years of being friends. She had celiacs so it was wonderful to go to a restaurant with her, without the worry of cross contamination. We had the waffle time. It was so yummy. And let’s get to the coffee! Omg my friend and I both normally require a lot of cream but the coffee was so good we drank it black. We will certainly be coming back! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience.

found this little café through Unilocal and I’m very pleased! Healthy and people friendly, I’m the only person here right now besides a 5 year old playing video games but I don’t mind! Organic and gluten free, I recommend it if you need a quick bite that’s not fast food. They bring the food to you within minutes so there’s not a long wait :)

Super excited to try this since they are organic and gluten free… and to be honest this area does not have good food options. We go on a Sunday morning around 9AM. We are the only two customers in the place, as we are ordering a mother and son walk in-remember this for later. The atmosphere and décor is cute and homey-so that was a plus. They have a kids play area with a PlayStation or Xbox, TV, couch and some toys. There were not many options for«treats» they must have known it would be a slow weekend since it was a holiday weekend. We look at the menu and order the breakfast tortilla wrap and the waffle breakfast. All gluten free and organic. We also order a doughnut and a strawberry/cherry muffin. Jason takes the doughnut with him, the girl who was taking our order did not offer to get me my muffin… kind of odd. The doughnut is heavy, small and grainy. I believe it cost $ 4 and I would not get another one. My muffin never arrived. The same girl who took our order brought our food out-Jason’s order is messed up. It is not a waffle it is two pancakes-he is not happy. Customer service has been terrible in the KC area. I have to ask her to bring my muffin-really? She brings my muffin, it is cold and dry. Again, I would not order this again, what a waste of money. Jason brings his plate back up-the stupid girl brought the wrong plate to him-remember this is only 4 of us in the restaurant, how do you mess that up??? So I start eating while Jason is sitting there. My wrap is good, the salsa is the best part. I would buy the wrap again. Jason’s waffle plate comes out, there is supposed to be fruit on it-NO FRUIT! He eats it anyways, we are over this place at this point. We had such high hopes, I do not see this place staying in business with the lack of customer support and grainy/heavy gluten free products. I make better treats out of a gluten free box of mix then they do. I am willing to try this place again, but probably for lunch.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a signature side salad at the counter for $ 9.99. My order was delivered to my table in about four minutes. The salad’s ingredients were fresh, original, and worked well together. The sandwich included generous amounts of perfectly cooked premium chicken breast, and delicious bread. The restaurant was clean, and new, with two TVs, and a play area for kids. The service was friendly, and helpful.

I visited during the soft open, and wasn’t too impressed. Mac & cheese was kinda grainy, not smooth, and cost way too much — yes, I know that GF is more expensive, but this was over the top. An order of M&C plus a cookie set me back fourteen bucks. The dining area is open, like a cafeteria, which is cheerfully bright but not much in the way of ambiance. Plus there was an unpleasant smell hanging over the whole place when I was there… like someone had scorched something badly in the kitchen, and no fans had been turned on. Not something I’d normally mention — hey, restaurants smell like food — but this was quite conspicuous & off-putting.

I had some high hopes for this place, but it definitely did not live up to my expectations. The breakfast menu was so limited and everrything was so expensive. I ended up just getting a biscuit and my fiancé got a blueberry muffin. Both were tastless and dry. Maybe it would have made a difference if they offered to warm up our pastries(both were cold at 9am), offer us some butter, maybe even some jam. But no, nothing. I can’t attribute the lack of taste or thr dry, dense consistency to it being gluten free because I’ve eaten many gluten free pastries that are delicious and NOT like these.

I want to like this place so much because it’s local, and you can tell that the owners have invested their hearts and souls in it… but, it’s just not good. My fiancé has Celiac disease, so I’ve become expert at making gf eclairs, gf cakes, gf cookies, gf donuts, gf cinnamon rolls, gf french toast, and gf biscuits THATTASTELIKENORMALNON-GF items. Elle’s hasn’t grasped how to make flavorful, somewhat light, non-grainy gluten free items. I’d expect the items at a professional bakery to be just that. Lastly the items are super expensive probably because the food cost to make everything organic and gf is high. My omelet was tiny and without side items and not special in any way– $ 9 + tax and tip. My friend’s 2 slices of small gf French Toast was also over $ 10 with tax and tip. We tried a blueberry muffin and a biscuit(both gf because everything in the restaurant is gf). Both baked goods tasted and felt like sawdust in our mouths– expensive sawdust. The muffin cost $ 3.50 + tax and tip, and the biscuit was also over $ 3 with tax and tip. I wish this place the best of luck, but they’re going to have to make some major changes in order to survive. The 2 stars are for the friendly service and the adorable environment.

I learned about this place for a friend who knows we are gluten free. I don’t usually make it down this way but had to give it a try. If you aren’t GF, go anyway. It is all organic down to the spices and it happens to be a GF kitchen. They have a kid friendly menu that you can feel better about. We went for breakfast just as they opened on Sunday. I thought they had a Sunday brunch but I think they have done away with it in favor of an a la carte menu. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was filled with eggs, cheese, spinach and turkey bacon — the best turkey bacon I have ever eaten. If that is turkey bacon, give me more! For $ 8 I thought the burrito was right sized but it should come with salsa and maybe some fruit. It felt empty and alone on the plate. I had to ask for salsa and that really helped. I really liked that the burrito was grilled on the flat top. nice and crisp. My companion ordered the waffles and that is a quite a meal. A full waffle topped with strawberries served with eggs and turkey bacon. The waffle was good… my first taste of a GF waffle ever. I would have liked it a bit more browned it it was thoroughly cooked. They have cases of baked goods so we took home a couple cookies, a bagel, and coffee cake. It was all very good and that is saying a lot for GF baked goods. The bagel needed toasting but for a fresh made bagel, not bad. They have a smoothie bar, coffee, iced tea and water. I am not sure it will be in a weekly rotation for us because it is a special trip but I would highly recommend it for those wanting to accommodate GF friends or family or those who want to know they are eating organic. Plus, I want to see it succeed.

This place is delicious and healthy! It’s nice to finally have a restaurant to go to that is organic and uses quality ingredients. I got the Mediterranean chicken as a wrap, and it was fantastic! I got a side of fruit, which was REAL fruit of apples, bananas, and strawberries. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were looking for a great gluten free spot to have brunch and we came across Elle’s! My wife has celiac and this place is 100% GF. Today was the first day they were serving brunch and it was delicious! They had a nice spread which included: eggs, turkey bacon and sausage, mini pizzas, gf mac & cheese, assortment of fruit, pastries and muffins. There is an omelet bar which I did not have the fortune of visiting and a menu to order things to go. Overall we had a very pleasant experience there and will be going back again in the near future.
