Children’s Mercy Blue Valley

In the unfortunate event we have to use their services again, I would definitely pay CM Urgent Care a visit. Because they were closed, our regular pediatrician recommended we take our one year old here to give him the once over. You build a relationship with your normal doctor and trust their opinions. Going somewhere new is often scary and breeds a sense of anxiety. This urgent care center designed for kids should put your fears to rest ASAP.
Check in was a snap even for our first visit (considering the insurance paperwork). We were seen by a nurse within 5 minutes of checking in and back into a room within 10 minutes. The pediatrician was informative, listened to our concerns, provided a course of treatment that was adequate and appropriate and we were on our way within 40 minutes of arriving. The surroundings are kid friendly with a lot of toys and manipulatives for little tykes to play with.
A big thank you to CM. They made a potentially scary trip (for kid and parents) just a routine thing. Very reassuring.

Staff was very friendly. Short wait. Everything explained clearly. Kudos to the doctor for stitching up a squirming toddler and doing a neat job. Extra kudos to yhe two nurses who helped hold him and sing to him.

Unfortunately, we have had to visit this urgent care twice in the past few months. We had an excellent experience both times. Quick and easy check in. Lots of room in the waiting area so you don’t feel like you have to sit next to sick children and you feel like you have your own space. Was called back quickly both times. Nurses were great. Very caring and really made my teenage son feel comfortable and cared for. The doctors were very caring as well and took the time to understand everything that was going on. In both cases they explained their diagnosis and what it meant. They also made sure to explain how to address it at home. It is the best urgent care facility we have ever used and would always go there when needed.
