Really good ice cream and gelato. I’ve had the cinnamon/pecan and lemon meringue. Both were really good and recommended. One scoop is $ 4.22 which is a pretty good value for an amusement park.

My boyfriend and I stopped in at this relatively new ice cream shop on a recent visit to Epcot. Frequently, when we’ve walked by it has been lined out the door, but today, it wasn’t so bad, so we decided to check it out. They have about 16 flavors of ice cream. We agreed on the coconut white chocolate. They have a brioche ice cream sandwich that looks amazing and I have put it on my things to try list. My bf really wanted the ice cream martini so that is what we got. It has 2 large scoops of ice cream in a martini glass and then they poured your choice of liquor on top of it. I chose whipped cream vodka. It made sense in my head, but wow that was strong. It doesn’t really mix together. He may have been correct suggesting the rum instead. The prices are very normal for Disney, and we will definitely be back. I must have the brioche with ice cream!

Wow!!! The ice cream sandwich made to order is off the charts good. So awesome to have an original! I got the white chocolate coconut raspberry ice cream sandwich and it was perfect! Not to mention how cool to watch them make it too. then eating the sandwich hot, yet biting into the cold ice cream. It is so good!!! And a party in your mouth! Got the girls ice cream too the pear vanilla and chocolate. The chocolate was SO rich we took it back and they were so sweet they gave us another cone and we got a strawberry flavor that was so good. The ice cream is made fresh every day and off the charts!

My son had been asking me for mint and chip ice cream, so when we stumbled upon this little gem, we ran in to grab him a scoop. The only reason I give it a 3 star is because this is more of an adult palette flavor spot. Not ideal for kids. This is more upscale with fancy flavors such as Rose, lavender, etc. Mint and chip we got him was flavorless… more like vanilla with bits of chocolate.

My fiancé and I were visiting Epcot and we craved ice cream during a sudden rainstorm in the afternoon(par for the course in Orlando, FL it seems). We decided to duck into L’artisan Des Glaces for some ice cream and to escape the torrential downpour outside. They have a decent number of ice cream flavors to choose from — I went with a cone of the plain vanilla and enjoyed it. My fiancé got a cone of something of the chocolate variety. The downside is that they have nowhere to sit! Very disappointed by that. I like old timey ice cream parlors that offer seating, especially as a refuge from either the hot weather or the rainy weather outside. Overall, good ice cream. A little overpriced, but definitely satisfied our ice cream craving that afternoon.

L’artisan Des Glaces is tucked into the French section of the World Showcase and had higher quality ice cream offerings than you’ll find at the typical Disney spot. The ice cream was good but I had a couple points of complaints. First, they don’t let you try flavors. I can understand that at many shops as they don’t want to give out free samples but they make you pay for your ice cream before you even go to the ice cream counter, so you already know that I’m buying some, I just want to see what the flavor is like. So I ended up going with the cinnamon, caramelized apple, and crumble crunch with coconut white chocolate. I really liked the coconut white chocolate flavor. The caramelized apple base was good but the apple bits were pretty bad, I actually ended up picking them out. It almost tasted like the apples were bad. Maybe I would have figured this out if I tried it, maybe not. They did tell me this was one of their most popular flavors so I could have gotten a bad batch. I’d go again, but pass on the caramelized apple.

Truly amazing ice cream. I was so impressed to find something like this at Disney! Not too sure if artisan ice cream has a strong tie to France, but the flavors were really different and cheffie for sure. I was a naughty mom and bought my kids two flavors they really didn’t want. Being kids they were all about the normal flavors. One wanted plain chocolate! So sorry. If mom is going to plunk down $ 4 plus a cone, she’s buying you vanilla pear and chocolate and the honey nougat. They whined about it but still ate the ice cream and I was able to get quite a bit of it too. Both flavors were done so well but the honey nougat was my favorite with beautiful flavors and chunks of candied fruit. The pears in the other flavor were nicely cooked down. All in all very well balanced. $ 4 a cone seems pricey but the amount of ice cream received was a good amount and it certainly seemed a better deal than many of the other treats you can get at Disney. I wish I could have tried the macaron ice cream sandwich but I’m not unhappy about getting those flavors. No samples unfortunately.

Tucked in a corner of France it could be easily missed so keep your eyes out! This is one of the stops you HAVE to go to if you are in Epcot. I highly recommend getting the brioche bun special(~$ 6). The warmth of the bun really does compliment the coldness of the icecream. It is decently sized and the ice cream they use here does not taste like pure sugar/artificial so pricing was ok in my opinion. You pick any flavor icecream, pick a topping, and watch the magic as they make this yummy dessert in a hot press. We got mint chocolate chip and paired it with a raspberry sauce for our bun. Super delicious. Too delicious my fiancé kept saying«oh my god» x10 and he basically ate the whole thing and only left me a few bites. The mint flavor in the mint chocolate chip tasted like legit mint. They also sell macaron icecream sandwiches here, but for the price and the size of the macaron not sure if its worth it. I just wish this was outside of Disney!

The ice cream here are some of the best ones you’ll ever taste. I love chocolate ice cream and decided to try their chocolate flavor. Not all chocolate ice cream is the same. Here the chocolate is really rich, smooth, and bold. They charge $ 4 for a scoop and it’s a generous scoop. Definitely stop by here to try the ice cream when you’re at Epcot.

The ice cream was excellent! Creamy, delicious, and they give generous portions. We had a scoop of the hazelnut that was good enough for two people. I would have tried more flavors(of the 16 options) had I not just eaten a big dinner. Also, they gave me the most perfect scoop of ice cream ever. It was so round — just like the Epcot ball. You can use a dining plan snack credit here. Yum!

The BEST ice cream in Disney World! Great flavors(the salted caramel is the best, but there are lots of good ones), and way better portions than down the road in Italy.

Best… Ice Cream… Ever! I should seriously just end my review right there because that sums everything up in a nutshell! It is absolutely impossible for me to enter Epcot and not stop here for ice cream, even when it’s cold out. Some have mentioned that it’s pricey, but honestly, it’s about the same as I pay at Maggie Moo’s, Baskin Robbins, or Cold Stone. Therefore, I don’t see it as pricey. I’m actually surprised they don’t charge more than they do because it is on Disney Property. I also feel you get what you pay for as the scoops are really large. My favourite ice cream is pistachio and they have the best pistachio ice cream I have ever had in my life. It is so rich, creamy, and full of flavour. The only other flavour I have tried is the coconut-white chocolate and it is also extremely good. I highly recommend that flavour as well. They have so many flavours of ice cream and sorbet. I’d love to try them all, but I just can’t seem to get away from my pistachio. I so wish they gave out samples here, but unfortunately, they do not. The shop is small and gets very crowded. It’s not unusual for the line to be long, but they move quickly. Service here can be a bit snobbish, but I’ve come to expect that from all of the shops in the France Pavilion at Epcot. Bottom line: If you even like ice cream a little bit, then you absolutely MUST stop by here and treat yourself to this little bit of heaven in a waffle cone!

I take my title of ‘frozen sugar advisor’ quite seriously. With that being said I can give L’Artisan des Glaces my highest recommendation because it gave me two ice cream experiences that I’ve never had before. It’s located in Epcot’s France area in the building that used to house the bakery. The first unique item is the macaron ice cream sandwich. I should disclose that I don’t «get» the whole macaron craze. With high end chocolate such as Norman Love I can’t throw my money at them fast enough. Every time I have a macaron I usually just think, «This cost how much?» The macaron ice cream sandwich was a different experience. I chose the chocolate one and I loved it. The chewy outer shell was almost candy-like. It was just perfect paired with the chocolate ice cream in the center. They also have seasonal flavors. At Thanksgiving they had a pumpkin macaron and in December they had a red/green peppermint one. As much as I like the ice cream macaron sandwich it is surpassed by the pressed brioche ice cream sandwich. When you order one you select any flavor of ice cream that you would like along with either chocolate, caramel, or raspberry sauce. The cast member will then put a scoop of ice cream and the sauce into a rounded piece of bread that has been cut in half. The bread is closed and then put into a press for a few seconds. When it is handed to you the bread is warm but the center has remained frozen. I found it completely delicious. As someone who loves bread I couldn’t have been happier. It’s going to be hard for me to come to Epcot without getting one of these treats every visit!

While my boyfriend, his family, and I were walking around the World Showcase at Epcot, we were in France and spontaneously decided on picking up gelato and that’s when we found L’artisan Des Glaces. It’s a cute, little ice cream shop for sure and they had some interesting flavors as well. I wanted to try the coconut white chocolate gelato since it sounded extra yummy. When we were placing our orders and getting ready to pay, I asked for my gelato to be in a cup. We watched as the gentleman behind the counter was scooping our ice creams/gelatos. We had 3 – 4 orders. A young woman that seemed unattentive and inconsiderate at first was scooping a gelato that looked like mine, but in a cone. At first, we thought it was my boyfriend’s sister’s vanilla ice cream, but we saw brown specs in it and realized it was actually mine. We told the young woman that I wanted the coconut white chocolate gelato, but in a cup. So we kindly gave it back to her and I cannot believe what she had done! She took the ice cream cone and threw the gelato back in the bin — how disgusting! Even though I was with family and his sister probably only licked a tiny bit of the ice cream, but what the young woman did was plain rude! You don’t just throw something back into the bin like that especially in front of customers that paid. What poor form of hospitality! I didn’t want to make it a big deal, so I didn’t call her out on what she did. After she had the nerve to throw the gelato back in, she just mixed it a bit up and then gave me my gelato in a cup. I love gelato and I loved the coconut white chocolate gelato because it was rich, creamy, and flavorful. However, after experiencing what happened at L’artisan Des Glaces I don’t think I will be back. What the woman did was really rude and absurd!
