We ordered delivery while staying at a hotel nearby. The sushi was wonderful and the fried rice was perfect. The order was correct and delivery was fast. What more could we ask for? I would recommend this place without a doubt.

The manager/owner was very rude. Not a good experience.

Great! We had 3 Specialty rolls and 4 regular sushi rolls. My husband had some sushi pieces and he was very happy with the freshness and flavor. All delicious. My son wanted a California roll(yuck), but they make it so much better than the junk I’ve seen other places. It actually looked delicious! The service was great, I never had an empty glass… it was raining outside and we were met at the door with a bucket to hold the umbrella :) We will be headed back for dinner again… but I can’t wait to check out the lunch specials. If you’re in Hunters Creek, check it out!

I really enjoyed Hana Kimi. Their spicy mayo sauce is yummy and their tempura chicken was delightful. The salad that came with it was swimming in the ginger dressing but you really didn’t need it to make the meal. The only odd thing was that my tempura was served on a paper towel. Not like a napkin or a decorative doily. But a Bounty Paper Towel. My boyfriend loved the sushi but his Udon noodles had too much sauce(starting to see a pattern here). Next time I come I’ll ask for all sauces and dressings to be either«light» or on the side.

We have visited this place several times and it is always great. Sushi is very fresh and they have a great selection of specialty rolls. The place is really small and not a lot of decoration, but their bar is beautiful. The food presentation is outstanding. I would definitely recommend and will visit again.

I sat at the bar and was waited on by Ivan. He was super nice and personable. The sushi was fresh and yummy. The lunch specials are probably some of the best I’ve seen. 3 rolls(6 – 8 pieces each) for $ 10.95. 2 rolls for $ 8.95. You can really beat that. I would definitely go back.

I wanted to write a review for this place while I was eating, but didn’t get the chance. It’s a very small place in the Target shopping plaza, but seems like they’ve made an effort to create a nice interior. From the outside, it looks closed because the window tinting is so dark, but that tint really helps you forget you’re eating in a Target shopping plaza lol. My sushi was really good, but my experience was tainted a little by a rude patron. I felt so bad for the waiter for having to deal with an arrogant jerk, I left him a note apologizing for the man’s behavior and thanking him for my tasty sushi. Hopefully other people will give this place a shot and post more reviews! I hope to go back and see what I truly think when there isn’t a bratty grown-man stinking the place up!

Ordered the Titanic roll, Dragon Eyes, Dragon Roll, Bumble Bee Roll, and Naruto. All of the rolls were great, the bumble bee was very light with a mango sauce, probably the least flavorful but definitely worth a try. My favorite was the Titanic, my dinner mates would say the Naruto and the dragon eyes were their favorites. Without the cream cheese, I would say Naruto would be my favorite since I love cucumber wrapped rolls, however I don’t enjoy cream cheese in my sushi, makes me dizzy. We used a groupon deal, and we split our meal between 3 people, it came out to 15 $ each including tip. Very great deal for some delicious sushi. The presentation was really beautiful and all the fish tasted fresh. If this place was closer we would definitely go back more often.

The interior is spare, but the bar area is beautiful. Not a wide selection of entrees, but the chef makes very yummy sushi. I went on a Sunday and it was empty, which is a shame because I can see the ambiance being more fun if it were packed.

Glad to have finally made it in Hana Kimi tonight! My tip was slightly incorrect: there are 4⁄5 tables and 9 seats at the sushi bar. Small, quaint, but not lacking in service! First off the service was great, if not a tad slow. The waiters were all very friendly, but left my sushi on the counter for 5 minutes while I was waiting on it as an appetizer. It was worth the wait though, as it tasted very fresh. The soy sauce, wasabi, and shrimp sauce were all delicious to dip it in! My wife & I ordered the hibachi meals despite being a little worried that the hibachi was in the back, not in front of our face as we usually get at Japanese places. Our fears were unfounded. The food all came out piping hot and was cooked perfectly! Overall, a total winning experience!

Sushi was just average. Couldn’t use Unilocal coupon with their buy 2/get one free specialty roll special. Wish I’d have known this and would have ordered something else. Special seafood soup was pretty good, but the sushi was nothing special.

Attention Unilocalers! This is a must visit place!!! Hana Kimi opened back in October and we have been trying to get out here to get our sushi fix since then but something always has gotten in the way. Today I visited with my Son Michael. I can tell you we were certainly pleasantly surprised! First of all I’d like to say that I would have given Hana Kimi a 5 star rating but I found just a few things that I’d love for them to change. So, while certain aspects of Hana Kimi are a five, I gave them a four so I can come back and upgrade to a five later as they might just change some things after customer feedback. Having said that though, none of them take away from the freshness of the sushi and sashimi and excellent service Hana Kimi has to offer. If you are in the Orlando area near Hunter’s Creak this is a must try place. The previous Asian place that was at this location served Chinese food and sushi. That place didn’t do either type of food Justis and I’m glad that they are gone and the new owner cares about the quality of food and quality of service. This visit we started with 2 soups. A bit on the warm side instead of piping hot but, hey not bad flavor. Can we have some kind of spicy soup guys? Then it was time for a sashimi appetizer. We had tuna and red snapper. Yummy! In fact so yummy we ordered a second round. The prices were low for the size of the pieces of fish you get. The Wasabi was just right. A nice kick. Now on to the main course! We had 2 specialty rolls. The first one was the Manhattan roll and the second was the Caterpillar roll. Both were fantastic. They were so good that I took home a Caterpillar roll for my other son David that didn’t get to visit with us on this trip. We also had a spicy tuna roll and a salmon skin roll. I like my salmon skin roll with cream cheese. Combined with the Eal sauce it was a match made in heaven. The rice was perfect and not one roll split. They didn’t over do it on the rice to make the rolls look bigger than they were. They served a great product and I think the other sushi places in the area have a worthy opponent for my business. I wish they had a Mexican roll though. It was greatly missed! Just sayen. I can’t say enough about the quality of service. The girl that served us our lunch was helpful, kind, polite, and knowledgeable. She was quite attentive and ready to do what ever it took for us to be happy. The place was kinda empty but it was early on a Sunday and they are pretty new. The place isn’t all Fancy with decorations and steamed towels, but, we felt at home and were treated well. I would like those steamed towels though. So to wrap things up, we got two soups, eight pieces of sashimi, three specialty rolls, and two regular rolls(plus cream cheese for one). All this ran us $ 60? That’s it? You bet we’ll be back and we’ll tell everyone we know about the 5 star food and service at Hana Kimi!
