Domino’s Pizza

Being from up north and use to getting a «slice» or two from the local hole in the wall pizza place, and not finding anything like that since moving to Avalon Park, I decided to give the franchise pizza places a try. After trying their pizza a few times, Dominoes is now my go to pizza place. I love the garlic and seasoned crust.

Pizza is always good but lately the staff is ghetto as hell especially in the evening/​night.

Ordered from them cause of glowing reviews. Big mistake! Worst exp. with dominoes, ever! Told 27 mins for delivery. Hour ten mins. later, no pizza, no call. Store says pizza is out for del. They say it will be free. Wat good is free if u get nothing??!15 mins., still no pizza, and they call to say driver got lost, they’re remaking order.
By this time we’ve ordered frm pizza hut.

I love pizza! They are not bad for the price near by UCF. We come here for lunch on occasion and a pizza is usually out in 8 – 10 minutes. The service is friendly and the store is clean. They have lunch specials too.

I love this Domino’s. fresh, fast, delicious. Also love the company’s upgraded pizza dough and seasoning and it’s sweet online ordering. I can’t believe this is the same Domino’s from my childhood!

Like most people, we were pretty skeptical of Domino’s recent ad campaign touting a new and improved recipe.
For Puppy-​Bowl Sunday (Super-​Bowl Sunday to most people), we decided to try it out, as a new Domino’s location just opened recently to serve our area again. (Another location closed about a year ago, and we’ve been Domino-​less for a while).
Expecting it to be a busy day, we ordered early and expected a long wait. To our surprise, the online tracker estimated about 35 – 40 minutes. «Eh, a lot of places estimate about that amount of time and still show up late,» we thought.
My wife kept the pizza tracker open and checked on it every now and then. About 35 minutes after ordering, she looked over and saw that it had just changed to «out for delivery». Not two minutes later, there was a knock at our door.
For $ 12, we ordered two medium pizzas, one with pepperoni. Their medium is really something closer to what I would call a small, but for $ 6 each, I’m really not going to complain too much.
So, how was the pizza? Surprisingly good. I’ll note that while I wasn’t a huge fan of Domino’s previous recipe, I didn’t have a huge problem with it either. It was what it was — mediocre chain pizza — great for late nights after you’ve already had a couple drinks. This new recipe had a thicker, chewier, more garlic flavored crust. As far as chain pizzas go (I won’t compare chain pizzas to a local restaurant), Papa John’s is our favorite. This new Domino’s recipe is comparable to Papa John’s.
Best pizza around? Of course not. But definitely worth a shot if you’ve got that late night craving for pizza and all the local shops have already closed for the night.
