Definitely seemed like they were understaffed, but none the less they provided great service. I came here after graduation at the Citizens Bank Arena with a reservation at 5:30 and expected it to be packed but it was pretty empty when we got there. They gave us a complementary starter for our wait(which actually wasn’t that long) and our waiter was super friendly and accommodating with any requests. They even gave us a free Cowboy Cookie for my graduation! Also the raspberry strawberry lemonade is so delicious.

We came for dinner on May 9th but am only now writing my review because my mother passed away and just now had the time. We used to visit this location all the time and the food was excellent, unfortunately on this occasion nothing was great! The bread was warm but over baked and hard. Salads had more water on them than dressing and the prime rib was cold. When Patrick, the manager, came by to ask us how our dining experience was I honestly told him it wasn’t up to par! I asked if they were under new management because the food quality wasn’t anything like we were used to. He became belligerent said the food quality was the same and walked away. We never saw him again. I don’t understand why he had to take it so personally unless he stood over a hot stove and cooked it all himself all day! Needless to say we won’t be going back to this location! The only reason I gave it two stars is because our waitress rocked!

Came here when the wait for Benihana was 45 – 60 minutes and they wouldnt allow us to call in while on the way. Called Black Angus, and since their wait was shorter, we decided to eat here instead. Our server, Alexa, was awesome. She kept our drinks full, and kept the bread coming. Our food was really good. The grilled artichokes were amazing. Just finished eating, and oh, look at the time, still wouldnt have had a table at Benihana. Will definitely come back.

This location has outstanding service thanks to the great team of servers who waited on our party of six(6). Our primary server, Jana G., was great – on a scale of 10, she was a 12! Personally, I’ve been to restaurants in Sidney Australia, Rio de Janeiro, Sasebo, Japan, Hong Kong, Wellington, New Zealand, to name a few. This Lady ranks among the best servers that I’ve seen throughout my travels. She was, and is, a great hostess who makes you feel at home with her great smile. She makes sure that everyone at our table understood the available orders to suit their taste for the evening. Her supporting staff was also friendly to make sure that all of us were served properly. We ordered Prime & Prawns, Filet & Lobster, Prime Rib, etc. with appetizers and received our Drinks right away. When dinner was served, Jana made repeat trips back to make sure that if there was anything our group needed, she would take care of it ASAP with a «smile». If you’re looking for service with a tasty meal, this is one of the best places in the Inland Empire to dine with your family and friends. The service is Outstanding.

Came here today for lunch to treat my friend for her bday. Wasn’t much patrons but service was great and the food was delicious. We ordered the filet mignon(med rare) with green beans and bacon bits, onion rings and loaded potatoe soup as our sides. Try the strawberry raspberry lemonade. That was yummy too.

Hadn’t been to this location in perhaps 18 months, but I was lured back by the Special Promo in my laptop inbox featuring FREE lobster tail with your steak dinner. But, when I asked for this special, I was told it was by coupon only. That is great, but what are you supposed to do if you don’t have a printer? I was told I could not get the deal I had driven 20 miles one way to take advantage of. SO, I opted for the 8-ounce filet mignon with Caesar salad, onion rings and potatoes au gratin… with a strawberry margarita as a starter cocktail. Two stars given here for the excellent margarita, salad and onion rings, but 3 stars deducted for assorted issues as follows: 1. Bread was stale and dry… not at all like the yummy similar brown bread served at Outback Steakhouse, 2. For some reason, my filet was butterflied, resulting in two super thin, rather dry and tasteless slices. Why was this done when I had not requested it? Most customers would be more than willing to wait the extra couple of minutes for the thicker, juicier normal filet to be cooked. No salt, pepper or steak seasoning salt on the steak. 3. Potatoes bland as well, with no noticeable salt or pepper. Why? 4. As I was watching the national collegiate basketball championship game on one of the TVs in the bar dining area, I asked my server that the caption feature be turned on so I could know what was being said by the announcers/commentators. I was told that it was their«policy» to NOT have that feature turned on. When I told her that 2 of the 4 TVs on the wall already had the captions on, but not the one I was watching she said the manager could come over and turn it on for me. He was called and he was of no help, basically repeating what the server had said, but not giving any logical explanation why 50% were on and 50% were off. He walked away seeming irritated at my request and did NOT turn the captions on as requested. 5. One of the 4 TVs on the same wall was featuring UFC Ultimate Knockouts… an hour of the most brutal and bloody fight highlights you can imagine. I don’t know about you, but isn’t it just plain common sense NOT to have those on TV while customers are eating their steaks? 6. Both the manager and busboy addressed me as «BOSS», a very nasty habit that has for some strange reason crept into the lexicon of at least 75% of the males at restaurants I go to these days. Male guests are not«Boss», «Bro», «Buddy», or «Dude»…we are«Sir» or nothing at all… particularly when we are senior citizens! I think way too many of these guys have been watching«Diners, Drive-ins and Dives» on TV with host Guy Fieri using all sorts of slang that they think is appropriate in the restaurant world when it is NOT. Where is the training and common sense. Women are never addressed as «Boss», so why should men? 7. Two hostesses at the front counter, but neither bothered a simple departure greeting like«Thank you for dining at Black Angus.» Why? Where is the training? I think from now on, I will travel South to Lonestar or Wood Ranch… or, for a special meal, North to Flemings if I want a better steak house experience.

Black Angus has always been one of my go-to restaurants! I have yet to experience a poor meal at any of the many Black Angus restaurants I have visited over the years. So, then, that differentiates one BA from another? The service! My mom and I experienced excellent service at this BA this afternoon – warm smiles and friendly attitudes can make a world of a difference! I’m taking off one star because I didn’t get a fork; it was missing from my rolled-up napkin and I found a lonely knife in there with no fork to keep it company! Ha… it was kind of funny but definitely inconvenient because I couldn’t begin my meal until our server came back around.

Arrive around 2pm place pretty empty but had about a 10 minute wait and second on the waiting list. Way under staff. Up graded to Wagon Wheel Platter Appetizer all good except the fried Zucchini had a chemical taste to it(need to change oil) nasty. Campfire meal for two, normally around $ 58 dollars had a coupon drop it down to $ 42 dollars Excellent savings. Filet Mignon loaded bake potatoes for one meal. New York Steak, loaded bake potatoes n Mac & Cheese with a side of Grilled Prawns over rice, Yes, I know to much food. Could only eat half. Dessert to go Mud Pie tasty. Service was really good and with the coupon around $ 60 without tip.

My husband and myself along with our 2 kids had a reservation for 7:15PM tonight(valentine’s) When we showed up 15 minutes before our reservation it was packed(obviously) I had set the reservation 2 days prior, and they could not find it but took my word for it after 5 minutes. We got sat at about 7:20, and were greeted by Jessica, our server for the night, she was very friendly and professional. We always go to black angus for special occasions, but our first time at this one, we usually get horrible service. But Jessica at the Ontario location is wonderful even during a busy night, she checked on us probably about every 10 minutes, and our drinks were never empty! Thank you Jessica!

5 stars not necessarily for the food but for the amazing service here. Our waiter, Rene was definitely the best — and I’ve been to a lot of restaurants! He’s very friendly, extremely attentive and checks up on you frequently. He’s either worked here for a long time now or he’s just really good at his job — probably both! The warm bread to start was pretty good too. Pretty impressed overall :-)

I don’t know if it’s because we came an hour before closing or what, but the food was cold and well done. We came in a party of 8 and were placed in the bar until we requested to be seated elsewhere. We had two servers attend to us. They were both nice, but seemed like they were just ready to get off of work. They were kinda slow on their service. We had to ask them a few times before they brought anything to us. One of them had a slight attitude though. The food was decent. The only thing was the«wellness» of the food. Everything came out over cooked. We asked for a bloody rare steak and it came out medium. Portions have definitely gotten smaller, but that’s everywhere. We were celebrating a birthday and they didn’t even sing for us yet after singing happy birthday ourselves, we heard another table being sung happy birthday. They still gave us a free birthday dessert though. We never complained, we just sounded naggy, but they made a nice gesture and comp-ed all of our soft drinks.

I’ve eaten at Black Angus many times in the past but not recently. It was quite refreshing to see that The manager(his name exapess me right now but he was a good dude) was interactive with the patrons. Britney is a gem. Awesome waitress and it was a pleasure being served by her. The food was as good as I remember. Keep up the good work Black Angus PS the margaritas are great!

This Black Angus was not as convenient for me to find, but the inside looked nice enough. The dining room is big as well as the bar area on the other side. While I thought I would have a decent dinner, the service really dampened my evening. I sat at the bar and asked the server what she would recommend between the Chicken Sandwich and the Prime Rib Sandwich. She said the Chicken Sandwich was new and good, as well as cheaper. So that’s what I ordered. Even after specifically discussing it, the plate put in front of me was a Prime Rib Sandwich. I didn’t want to be that person who complained and sent it back, so I sighed and ate the dish. It actually would have been all right if there wasn’t such a sizable portion of fat on the steak. It was less of a sandwich and more steak on top of a slice of bread. The complimentary oat bread never arrived either(which is one of the things I look forward to when at a BA) so by the time I got to use my Prime Club dessert coupon, I was ready to leave. As a side note, during my meal, I had to deal with overhearing my server complaining to several coworkers that she was«not a real bartender» over and over again. Why keep whining when you’re within earshot of customers? I could have guessed that based on her confusion during a couple of drink orders, but apparently she may not have been a real server either based on her getting my whole order completely wrong. While Black Angus is an okay place to eat, the questionable service by the staff here would keep me from returning to this particular location.
