This is close to home and in a quiet shopping center. Very clean, very friendly staff. Baked lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had. Good selection, including their Japanese BBQ.

We came here on a lunch break the food took 45 min to get one roll. I ordered the ninja roll which was identical to ordering a California roll. The lady in charge was rude and said the manager was not in. She tried to compensate us with ice cream. Been here before but never experience this type of service. Can say I will be back.

I don’t venture out to this area much, but I happened to be just a few minutes away from here for a work seminar, so decided to give this place a try during my lunch break. I came just to eat sushi but this place also has barbecue and few other dishes. I went with the nigiri sushi lunch special which came with salad and miso soup. The price wasn’t too bad for seven pieces of sushi, tamago, four pieces of CA roll, and 4 pieces of spicy tuna roll. It was about $ 17. Most of the sushi tasted fairly average but I rounded off my review to four stars because the salmon was really good. It was super fatty and silky smooth. I’m not sure if I just happened to go on a good day or if this place gets good salmon most of the time. It was so good I placed an extra order of salmon by itself. I noticed the regular order of salmon sushi was cut much bigger than the one that came with my lunch special. Service was friendly and attentive. One thing I thought was kind of strange is how empty this place was when I came by. I was here during the peak lunch hour but there weren’t that many people here. Place is quite spacious so it looked even more empty.

I’ve resided in the inland empire my entire life and have seen this place around for at least 10 years. You would think that an establishment that could withstand 10 years of business in a bad economy would be able to provide quality food and service. Unfortunately after finally deciding to patronize this restaurant I was let down. The sushi was very«fishy.» The portions were big, but the quality was AYCE at best. It’s a shame it’s so difficult to find a good sushi spot in the IE that isn’t AYCE. I thought I would find my answer tonight and I was wrong. First time, last time…

Horrible service. We were seated at the sushi bar in the middle of dirty dishes for 20 min. Asked for beverages and never received them while customers who arrived after us received their beverages and began ordering.

I should have known that this place was no good, simply by their sign outside the door… it reads: check in on Unilocal, leave us a «GOOD» review and get $ 5 off. excludes happy hour prices. Happy hour prices aren’t that much cheaper anyway . After our meal, I now know why they are, in a sense, paying their customers to leave, not just any but«good» reviews! It’s because their food is anything but. California rolls are blah and we’re falling apart, dragon roll had a nice crunch but a weird sauce on it. Beef teriyaki was cold and bland. The salad was ok but the fact the the dinner plate came complete with some potato salad was new to us, coming from a sushi restaurant and all. Not even their miso soup was good and that is definitely hard to mess up. A dinner for 4, horrible food and $ 70 later this place would have gotten a big fat zero from me of possible but our server was kind.

My husband and I decided to check out B&F Sushi based on their Unilocal reviews. We are so glad we did. The baked salmon roll is off the menu but definitely a must try. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was good. They don’t have a vast vegetarian sushi selection. They do have the standards for veggie rolls. They are quite nice and willing to accommodate special requests. Unfortunately, my son’s sushi(spicy tuna roll) upset his stomach. It was a bit expensive for two people. $ 58

They got new menus and happy hour 5 – 7 yay get in my belly I got dinosaur roll. I love coming to this sushi restaurant they do not offer all you can eat but I would rather have quality than quantity ask for trump or Chris. Do omakase style that’s chefs pic and tell them how much you want to spend.

The food wasn’t good. Service was way from profession. Asked for lemon, and they charged me one dollar for it!

My favorite dish here was the poke salad. I love poke salad… so fresh and light… and theirs was great. Got some rolls and other raw fish… was all good. The usual Japanese beers were available on draft(very refreshing and light). As always, I was not disappointed by a run-of-the-mill Sushi place on the West Coast! I always find it to be better than on the East Coast… Service was attentive and parking is easy in this strip-mall.

Driving through Ontario today and I was craving some good sushi. Every person I know has a favorite sushi spot, but feel like they are cheating on their favorite chef when they go elsewhere! This sushi spot might be next favorite spot to eat. The Chef and waitress’s were friendly and polite. I tried 3BOOMBASTICROLLS! So damn good! The Bonito, Sara, and Rock ! Was too stuffed to try the baked lobster roll! There’s always next time!

This place gets 5 stars because of the awesome food and also the super friendly sushi chefs. I went here for lunch with a couple of coworkers when i was visiting our warehouse. We got there around 12 before the rush luckily and got to sit at the bar. It’s a chinese owned but they are awesome. The sushi chefs were interactive and gave suggestions to us on what nigiri to get. I wanted to get the chirashi but didn’t want rice so they suggested the sashimi lunch instead and it was good. Nice portion for lunch, good variety of cuts, and very fresh. My coworkers got some of the nigiri specials and the rainbow roll. The nigiri was nice big cuts as well and not pricy. Very fresh too. Will be back next time I’m in town.

My boyfriend and I have been here several times and it is our favorite sushi place! The staff is super friendly and just the right amount of attentive. We almost always get the same thing when we come because it’s so good. He gets a Sara roll and I get a Crunch roll. Both are very fresh and don’t have too much rice. We also share an assorted tempura dinner plate(the carrot is my favorite – so sweet!). Today, they included extra rice and an extra miso soup, no charge, without us asking. Love this place!

Patch P. And I have been craving for sushi due to the sushi commercial breaks while listening to Pandora and this was one of the closest locations still open in the evening on a weekday. We ordered their Chirashi bowl $ 19.95 and their Beef teriyaki and BBQ short rib $ 13.95, which came with a side of miso soup, house salad, and fruit. A few of the meats were a bit on the chewy side, but the chirashi bowl made up for it. We agreed to share the chirashi bowl between just the two of us next time because we didn’t know it came with miso soup and side salad as well. The fish was fresh and delicious. They also did not rush us to go home even if we had 45 minutes until they closed. That’s some pretty awesome friendly service right there! :)

I’ll start off by saying their $ 20 chirashi dinner combo is HUGE and the size alone makes it worth it. The fish isn’t the freshest, but then again maybe it doesn’t have enough traffic to keep it fresh? Most of the fish piece were okay, but one of them I had to pass on after taking a small bite. If you notice on Unilocal, quite a bit of B & F’s food pictures are of that chirashi! You will definitely get full on it. Also comes with a miso soup and side salad. I do have mixed feelings on that dish but MAYBE it was due to the time I visited and it’s usually fresher? I don’t know. We also ordered the baked salmon roll which was very good. Not«authentic», as it was doused in mayonnaise and had a full-fat flavor. Tasted good however, and was a lot of food for around $ 8. Great appetizer. If the chirashi was a lot fresher, I’d definitely be inclined to return and eat that huge bowl again. Service is great, the servers are friendly and do a good job of attending to you. 3⁄5 stars.

Did a random stop at this Sushi place on a road trip from San Diego to Pasadena. Was very surprised at how good the Chirashi was. It had a wonderful variety of very fresh sashimi, pickled vegys, etc., all artfully arranged.

I had lunch here the other day with another co-worker. We were seated right away when we walked in. The owner smiled and greeted us when we walked in. I ordered the beef teriyaki lunch special. My co-worker ordered blue fin tuna. The first thing that was brought out was miso soup. It was very good soup. After we finished our soup the waitress brought out our orders. My beef teriyaki had a plate with rice, salad, beef, and a small scoop of potatoes. It was very good tasting food. We both enjoyed our meal. The restaurant was very clean inside and decorated nicely. They had a sushi bar. However, we sat at one of the tables. Each table has a hood over it and a hibachi grill in the center of the table. The bigger tables had two hibachi grills. I remember traveling to Tokyo, Japan for a business trip a few years ago. I also remember eating at a restaurant in Tokyo that had hibachi grills built into the tables. They would bring out the beef and vegetables and everyone would use their chop sticks to place what they wanted on the grill. Once your food was cooked to perfection, you would pull the food from the grill and eat it. Unfortunately we didn’t use the hibachi grill. I sure would like to come back to this restaurant and try some food cooked this way. Maybe the next time I come here I’ll try it. I will be coming back.
