I ordered the Beef Enchiladas and they did not disappoint! The staff is nice too! They were patient with our indecisiveness and had the food out for us in a good amount of time. The restaurant could use some more liveliness but the food was good! I had a taste of the Crazy Burrito too and it was good too but it required a lot of salsa since it tasted a little dry, but I’d need to come back for some more to finalize my thoughts on this place.

Literally my favorite Mexican place in town. I have tried over a dozen and this one is the best. Their carne asada fries are amazing and the staff is the best!

Well I don’t know if it’s actually possible to ruin a bean and cheese burrito, but maybe. Roberto’s number 13 has a BOMB bean and cheese burrito! They use the big tortilla so you have to rip off some of it… but without EXTRA cheese, it’s cheesy. yum yum yum… highly recommend! go! eat! enjoy! oh plus the décor is awesome!

We love this place! Their homemade tortillas are to die for as well as their pintos. We make it a staple to stop by Roberto’s EVERYTIME we are in the San Diego area. We’ve tried their bean burritos as well as their chicken burritos so far! Wow is all we can say as we close our eyes and indulge our tastebuds without shame. Yes, it looks like a hole in the wall, but this is a stop you will not regret! Dear Roberto’s, PLEASE open a taco shop in Colorado!

Love the food here! This is a very small taco shop. The décor is awful but the food is always great. The parking lot is a hassle but this Taco shop makes it all worth it.

Best carne asada fries I’ve ever had. I always drive here from out of town just for their fries.

This is the best family Mexican food pickup /dine-in… only downfall is there’s not a public restroom especially with kids so I always have to pick up. that’s why I have the four star review instead of five star but the fish tacos and beef tacos are awesome also their California burritos are super tasty they have all the great ingredients! I’ve tried everything on the menu and there is nothing to complain about.

I had an awakening… at 1130 pm, entering this establishment. I’m a native Del Martian and I’ve been familiar with Robertos since I was able to drive(30+ years ago). I have a vivid recollection of Roberto, and his wife, and his son, working at their shop in Del Mar. Well, it seemed like deja vous all over again when I walked into this Robertos Taco Shop, in Oceanside. He was manning the grill, his son was taking my order and his wife was handling the details. It was like a step back in time. I was agog. I wasn’t sure… Heck, I was amazed. So I gathered my wits, and asked the cashier politely… en Español: «Is that the REAL Roberto?» The young man nodded quietly. «…And you’re his son… And that’s your mom???» I sputtered incredulously, in rapid Spanglish. He nodded again. I said please tell him thank you… I should have asked for an autograph.

Awesome food, But the guy at the front is unbelievably rude every time I go there. Does greet or say thank you.

They have the best california burrito here! The beef tacos are really good too. And if the salsas are not spicy enough ask for the chile guerro! :D

Very large burritos here. I got the Crazy Burrito which has beans, cheese, sour cream, fries, and 2 rolled tacos. It was soooo good. It had a mixture of great flavor and texture. Costed about $ 5.50. Parking lot is shared but there is a lot of spaces. There are many tables inside. They have red and green salsa. The red is amazing and has a perfect spice. Customer service was average, but you don’t really interact much when ordering a burrito. I’ll be back to check out more of their menu.

Great little place that doesn’t look like too much from the outside(or the inside for that matter) with a GREAT California burrito, that was so good we showed up at 830 in the morning for a second one before heading to the airport! The rolled tacos left something to be desired in the flavor department, but the taco was also delicious, worth the stop if you’re in the area.

My car was being checked out across the street and it was late in the afternoon. Hadn’t had anything to eat yet. I was pondering a burrito and asked one of the guys at the shop where to go after looking up and down the street and seeing four different Mexican places within a block and a half or so. He pointed right across the street to Roberto’s without hesitation saying«My money’s on Roberto’s». So off I went. I had been to other Roberto’s restaurants in the past, so I know their food in general. I got a good ‘ol fashion carne asada burrito. Lots of meat, with diced onions, tomatoes and cilantro with a touch of guac. a great combination when you’re in a crunch and craving Mexican food. Service was quick easy and friendly and the place was fairly clean and cool considering this little heat wave we’re experiencing this summer. Keep on Unilocal’n!

I was driving down to Rancho Bernardo early on a Saturday and needed something easy to eat on the road. So a breakfast burrito popped into my head! I(safely) searched on Unilocal and found a nearby Roberto’s Taco Shop along my drive. I ordered a BACONBREAKFASTBURRITO with eggs, bacon, potato and cheese. Nothing special but I got it quickly and it was surprisingly not greasy.

Dude, this place is not a 4 or 5 star restaurant. You walk in, first thing you notice is every table with greasy fingerprints and drippings of hot sauce all over. Not to mention the filthy countertop by the salsa bar. But hey, it’s rates 4 stars so we gave them a chance. Rolled tacos– super crispy but no flavor. Bean burrito– dry and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Carne Asada– nothing to write home about. Salsa– ok. Needless to say, we won’t return.

Great value — burrito was surprisingly large for $ 5.75. About ¾ of the way through it I was stuffed, but I pressed on to enjoy the great flavor. Get a California Burrito and put a little of the green salsa on it. The atmosphere inside made me feel like I was at a classic hole in the wall joint. Classic Mexican yellow colors, but everything was very clean. Man behind the counter was friendly and professional. Will return to try other burritos.
