Subway

It’s raining as we’re walking around downtown and before we head back to our car we take a quick detour to subway for my boyfriend to use their restroom. It’s for «customers only» and the woman quite literally bitched and then giggles as she made us buy something while we’re walking away because they didn’t have much business at the moment… Catty staff.

Run of the mill Subway here. Was disappointed on a few levels, at noon on a weekend, they were out of both of my 1^st choices for bread, and were sullen when I asked them what they did have «in stock». The woman behind the counter then was very stingy with my toppings, so much so, that I asked her to give a little more of them to even fill up the space. I got a veggie, so not having meat, I feel entitles me to a bit more veggies than a normal sandwich… Maybe I’m wrong! Also, I have been noticing that they are becoming increasingly stingy with the avocado «slices», I believe I got maybe ¼ of a small avocado on my entire foot long. My kids got a foot long meatball sub to share, which ended up being so soggy that before we even got to a table to sit, the meatballs and sauce had shredded through the bread, and they had to use forks to finish it up. A bummer, and much more incentive for us to make a bit of a further trip down the road to Port of Subs after church!

The gentleman behind the counter is definitely NOT a sandwich artist. I think the kid needs some more sandwich training, as I did not get asked if I wanted much of anything.
Great location though, as it is right in front of the movie theater and two blocks up from the pier. Used the trusty Unilocal app and found it around the corner from where I was at trying to find something quick and inexpensive.
Truth be said, doesn’t matter how «pretty» the sandwich is since I’ll be eating it all up anyways.

If you’re ever in a hurry or if you’re looking for a place with a positive vibe, don’t bother coming here. Always seem to be understaffed when I go and takes them forever to make a sandwich. Most other subways I’ve been to get me in and out in a short amount of time, it’s like they enjoy lagging here. I have yet to be greeted or helped with a smile. No one has tried talking to me as they make my sandwich, you can tell they all hate their job. Walked out a few times because they take forever if it starts to get busy. They have made me late to work a few times, it shouldn’t take over 15 min to make a sandwich. Other than that the store is very clean.

Walked in on a Friday night and got great service. Sandwiches well made, staff even gave recommendations! Veggies and condiments were neat and fresh looking. Many tables and seats available with a large dining area.

Horrible horrible horrible.
Went in with about 10 other people and when I asked for a napkin, the female employee said she won’t give me a napkin if I did not order anything for her to give me a napkin. My whole party each ordered a sandwich and the woman cannot give me a napkin? Furthermore, she charged us 25 cents for each cup of water? Two teenage girls who came in a few minutes after us got their water for free. There’s definitely some double standards at this establishment and reform that needs to be implemented. You cannot refuse service just «because». Many people could use these contrasting principles to file a claim for discrimination. Please fix this. The staff here are neither nice nor helpful; rather, they are outright rude, arrogant, and off-​putting.
Although the store is the biggest I’ve seen among Subway stores, the staff and assistance was so lacking that I cannot bring myself to come back again.

I went there and they had no honey oat bread, no chocolate chip cookies and some of their soda’s were out. Come on your a freakin’ subway how do you run out of this stuff before 1 o’clock. Worst service chick looked like she hated her job. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!!

Soup is always not available, either management not interested or the girls n boys workibg here are lazy
