This is a great place to go for families, campers and rv’ers. The prices to camp your trailer or RV at Staysail are very reasonable and affordable. I was so impressed with this park and it’s views and location, I stayed for 6 weeks last summer! I’d like to do it again this year if I can!

This is a great city park. Located on the waterfront in downtown Oak Harbor it has a little bit of everything. There is an RV park for overnight camping. There is a historic replica Dutch windmill. There is a children’s splash pad and multiple play areas designed for different ages. There is also a brackish pond that kids are always swimming in. The park is waterfront with a paved walking trail next to a driftwood strewn beach, open grassy areas, baseball fields, and public restrooms. The city sewage treatment plant is also located here(but rarely smells). Yes you read that right. In the middle of a beautiful waterfront park is a sewage treatment plant. There is good news. They are building a new one. There is also bad news. It is also going to be right here adjacent to/in the park. The city is asininely married to putting poop processing right next to kids playing and the water in what could be one of the prettier attractions in town. Oh well, it is a good park that could be great if not for the foolish insistence on poop in the park.
