No, I am not writing a review of a McDonald’s restaurant — it’s been so long since I’ve been to one I couldn’t give an honest account. This is the big corporate headquarters, and I am reviewing just the Lodge. I attended a company Christmas party, and my husband’s cousin had her wedding reception here as a last-​minute change when the Oakbrook Tennis & Bath club cancelled on her. The dinners were pretty good for mass consumption food, and there’s a great view of the woods through the floor-​to-​ceiling windows. I give them credit for pulling together the wedding reception so graciously.
