Chipotle Mexican Grill

I honestly don’t understand how people like this restaurant. I had ordered some steak tacos while on lunch break with some coworkers and would regret it tremendously. The food is absolutely disgusting. My steak tacos were not steak, I truly believe they were ground up Firestone tires with brown food coloring. My first and last bite was like chewing on a rubber doggy toy. After that I felt disgusted and threw my «steak tacos» out immediately in front of the staff to get their attention that their food is horrible! My pit bulls dog food has higher quality meat than what they serve at Chipotle. This restaurant chain is a disgrace to authentic Mexican cuisine which is nothing like what they offer at Chipotle.

Poorly run. They often «run out» of things because they don’t maintain their line. Today they ran out of crispy tacos and wouldn’t make anymore. It is 4pm. Other days they will have just opened and not have chicken (not even on the grill).

Mixed review. First, I think the manager at this spot is really doing a good job. I heard him time his team again today on what seemed to be how long they were serving consistently to customers in line. He complimented the team after the hard work. So nice to hear. I am at this location almost weekly, as I work close. Though too small and not nearly enough tables for this location, the place is always clean and well-​stocked. I have one issue — and that is because it has happened to me THREE times now. I come to lunch to get out of work for a while and clear my head. The last thing a customer needs to hear while enjoying their lunch is one of your employees having their review. Especially when it’s a critical one! I am really surprised that these are being held in the busy lunch hour time slot (before 1:30) and at tables directly next to customers! It is awkward for the customer… big time. Today’s review was for a 3 week employee and was not being conducted by the immediate manager — someone higher up who said she comes in to do these reviews. The questions she was asking were harsh in my opinion — especially in front of customers! Please consider doing them at a later time or before you open.

Great service and delicious food. The burrito bowl was made to perfection, but the chips and guac are my weakness. Hello to my new favorite location.

Seriously the worst customer service in the world, my food was as cold as ice. Did they care? Absolutely not. The girl there who took my order started with a wonderful «What do you want?» Uhm, chipotle clearly which is why I am here. Needless to say don’t even bother with this location. Take an extra 10 mins and drive a little further west to the one in Oakbrook Terrace. It’s bigger and their customer service is soooooo much better. The food is also a lot warmer.

Great location in Oak Brook. Less idiots here because of its location! Good portions!

I go to this chipotle about 3 – 4 times a week. My family and I are very well known there. So it’s time I write a review of the place. The food is extremely exquisite. I suggest getting a vegetarian bowl because you get free guacamole. But if you love your meat then go with a chicken and steak mix. Also they make it with a smile on their face which is hard to see now a days. Needless to say the customer service is amazing. Anything you need they do to the best of their ability. This establishment has successfully made me feel like I’m at home. I will continue to go here for as long as I can.

The cashier and manger don’t know squat about customer service.
The cashier took longer than necessary to check me out. Then as I’m eating my food she started to sweep the dinning room and then moved the chairs away from my table said excuse me and expected me to stop my meal and move my feet so she could use the table that I was currently still using. When I didn’t do it she still tries to sweep under there and literally swept my feet. Half way through my meal I had to stop to talk to the manager and his response was what are you looking for from this?!! Are you kidding how about an apology!
Horrible customer service never again will I visit this location which is unfortunate since it’s the closest to my home.

Not up to par with the surrounding chipotle stores. Service was lacking, and so were the burrito rolling skills.

The burritos are pretty standard at all Chipotles. I usually get the steak bowl with vegetables, brown rice, black beans, sour cream, lettuce, mild tomatoes, and sometimes guac. Always yummy and more than one serving!
This place gets crowded like cray… they should try to offer more seating if physically possible!

Pluses: Was super fast, was decent enough, and is very similar to most other Chipotles.
Negatives: Parking lot is sometimes difficult to use, had some weirdness with the person in front of me complaining about something slowing me down, and was surprisingly empty for the time I went. Not sure what they’re doing.
Recommendations: If you like Chiplotle, this is for you. I highly recommend mixing corn and hot sauce, it is very tasty. And Roti is right next door for larger groups that want variety.

I love love chipotle!!! I’ve been to this location several times and the grilled veggies are always under cooked!!! Please please cook the bleeping veggies!

Nice, can’t beat having more choices to eat in Oak Brook. This is a nice location, close to the mall, far enough away where you don’t have to worry about mall lunch eaters, just local business workers. This location is a little smaller than most of the ones I have been to, but the seating setup is nice, bigger community tables then scattered tables throughout. Service was great, fast and friendly!

I love Chipotle, but don’t eat it often because the one on 22^nd is killer to get to during lunch time. Deciding upon Jason’s for lunch, I happened to stumble on this new Chipotle in a MUCH better location. To start, the parking lot is a lot bigger and there’s more room for crazy, rushed people on their lunch breaks to schpeel out of here without fear of any accidents.
I didn’t notice anything different about this particular one versus all the other ones I’ve been to, but I mean that in a good way. Everything looked very clean and well prepped and they were speedy as always. Everyone here was really friendly and every time someone walked by, they made sure to smile and say ‘hi’
This is my new preferred location for my burrito bowl fix.
