Whiskey Styx Bar & Grille

Grilled kabobs with good ingredients. Very impressed that this sports bar offers items for those who are health conscious… But don’t worry they have pizza & fried food too!
The drink selection is also very good.

My husband and I love this place! We decided to stop in off of 2 other referrals! The food is delicious! The owner couldn’t be any nicer! A fun place to be! Recommend stopping in and trying for yourself!

Possibly the worst food experience we’ve had in years. 2 of us tried the «ranger styx», these were chewy cheap cuts of beef over white rice with some type of sauce that tasted more like soy then whiskey. No veggies on the «styx», just the meat and rice was very mushy and bland. One person asked for buffalo chicken strips, the buffalo sauce poured over it was so greasy, the ranch dressing couldn’t stick. A pizza was also ordered and was nothing more than a frozen pizza.
Service was decent, although they don’t have a beer menu, and our server didn’t pay attention to who wanted bottles over drafts, she just gave all drafts.
The atmosphere seemed like a small crowd who hang there a lot, loud, one guy took his shirt off, to put what looked like a half shirt on, others were yelling so loud we couldn’t enjoy our conversation.
We won’t be back, we like to spend dollars with local places, just not this one.

Most awful experience I probably have ever had in a restaurant/​bar. After waiting over an hour for our food all the owner did was make excuses, told us he would get our bills and we could leave then physically assaulted my husband. Police and paramedics were called.

Very impressed! Reasonable price! I had the best sandwich called «the don» and I will definitely be back!!! The restaurant is located in a little strip mall but the quality of food you get they deserve their own building! The fries are crisp and not at all soggy! Great service and atmosphere! I definitely recommend this place and «the don» to anyone! Also the whiskey sauce they put on different items is amazing!!! Stop in and give it a try because I promise you won’t be disappointed! Don’t rush your food because I promise it’s worth the wait!:)

I had an IPA and a lemonade w/​grapefruit vodka. Food looked good. We will be back!

We had the tenderloin which was awesome! The fries are great also, the mushroom pops are typical bar appetizers but lacking the cocktail sauce that makes them great. Overall a great experience just need some cocktail sauce. Hopefully we will try something different but the tenderloin is so damn good!

Wow! Cannot believe we have passed this place for 1.5yrs and never tried it out! We’ve been missing out and it’s now our new favorite place! The Styx are what they are known for and are Amazing!!!

The Styx are the Tryx!!! Loved the kabobs, the Rambler and the Hawaiian, NIIICCCEEE!!! Service was spot on!!!

Not your typical bar food! There are many choices on the menu that are not deep fried. I had one each steak, pork and vegetable kabob which is what they call Styx. The vegetables were crisp tender, the meat was very tender and flavorful and the rice was done perfectly. it’s a Saturday afternoon between lunch and dinner kind of an odd hour, and I wasn’t the only one enjoying a rainy Saturday afternoon at this restaurant.

Nice place. Basically clean. wait staff very friendly. Never left us wanting for a refill. Food was average. Toasted Rav was pretty good for bar food. Pretzel bread were good. We had three of the Styx not really a good deal. Shrimp were very small not impressed with the beef or chicken either. Probably worth half of what we paid.

Wife and I returned to the Whiskey Styx’s tonight. We both had the Hangover. The name has to come from how much the breaded pork tenderloin hangs over the bun. I got mine with thr Whiskey Styx’s sauce on the side. Both sandwiches were outstanding.

The flavor of my burger was enough to bring me back, but everything else was good and affordable too. The beers on tap are not just the usual, and the place is smokeless and clean. We had two apps and both were good.
(Must confess, we ended up at Whiskey Styx on a lark after mocking the name, but ended up fans of the place.)

Well this is the first major fail for Unilocal… Over an hour for 3 of our 4 orders to show up (4^th never did), decent burger, cold fries, empty ketchup container replaced with one that only one of us got 1 serving out of. On the upside, the beer was cold…

Lots of fun. Visiting from out of town and we went there to have some adult time with out of town family and wanted a place where the atmosphere was good and the drinks weren’t too expensive. Perfect choice. I expect to be back in again the next time I’m in town.

Great service, friendly staff, good beer and Bourbon selection, and delicious food! Wed Steak and Rybeye special was GREAT and very affordable ! Delicious fries, not to be forgotten

Not one bad thing to say. The prices were excellent ! Your paying for great food and quality atmosphere and you won’t leave feeling like you spent a fortune on one meal. You could eat lunch and dinner on a budget!

I used to bartender and waitress, so I am picky when eating out… but this place is a gemstone !!!

my husband just brought me take out and it was amazing. I am always a sucker for fresh cut fries which were awesome and I was happy! Then I bit into the sandwich. I think it was the sirloin sandwich. It was sirloin with grilled onions and mushrooms squished between two pieces of garlic cheese bread. AMAZIING. I’ll be back for sure!

Located in the heart of many family neigbhorhoods ! We loved the unique idea of the kabobs on a bed of sweet rice. Fresh, made to order food. Kid friendly menu. Great sandwiches, wings and burgers too ! The ower is very personable. Staff very attentive.
We tried the restaurant after church one afternoon. We’ve been back a few times with our kids and give it an A+ rating.
