Not a beer guy but wanted to try the menu. The hamburger w/fries was unbelievable. The price tag with a beer was not any higher than Playoff’s, Brewskie’s or other pub areas but the food solidly superior. Nice mixed crowd and very friendly bar service…

I loved this place! I’m not a beer drinker, so I can’t vouch for that part. I started with the Thai Coconut Muscles and loved them. I also got the Mango Habanero Salmon and loved that just as much. We had to sit in a little corner by the kitchen but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Worth a try!

One of my favorite restaurants in O’Fallon. Great food(I love the burgers and the cheese sauce!) and they have an awesome selection of craft beer. Always something new to try.

I’ve been here a few times now but my last visit will truly be my last. The pours were short, I had to ask 3 or 4 times for a couple of olives in my vodka. I guess the bartender figures if you’re not a beer drinker you just don’t matter. Another couple we were with said they had been there before and actually sat at the bar and said he didn’t care about anything and had no personality. I actually started the evening trying to order a single malt scotch. I had taken a quick peek at the bar and ordered something I saw sitting o the shelf. The server told me that the bartender said they were all out. BS… I saw it sitting there. I ordered a burger and it was literally raw. Sent it back and basically received the same thing again. My wife’s salmon was so overcooked it was basically inedible. Overcooked and undercooked twice. What consistency! This place used to actually be pretty good. Obviously that has changed. I won’t be back, screwed on the booze and the food and that’s just inexcusable.

Best place to go for good food and drink in O Fallon, and ranks up there in the best in St Louis. Great selection of beers on tap, and I have yet to be disappointed with any food item there. Try the Angry Irish Wife! Only wish they were open on Sundays.

Had a decent lunch here a couple months ago… was encouraged by the variety, unique dishes and beer choices. Tonight’s dinner, however, was disappointing all around. I had just recommended the place earlier in the day and talked myself into going back this evening. Our intent was to get burgers. We ordered medium and were promised there would be some pink. There was not. I ordered the Asian burger with«spicy Korean BBQ sauce» and Asian slaw. There was no sauce at all(literally, none) and when combined with the overcooking, left me with a dry, tasteless mass that was far less than I expected. The wife’s(a portabello, carmelized onion, swiss) was also overcooked and unexciting. Mike’s is a good concept. We need places like this around here, but unfortunately, at this price point, the quality and attention to detail needs to improve dramatically.

Ordered the ginger lettuce wraps which was described as having grilled pork belly. It came with bacon. I know that technically bacon is pork belly but that is ridiculously misleading. $ 11 for 4 lettuce leaves, 2 slices of bacon and some red cabbage! What a ripoff.

After a long travel day back from our honeymoon, we were starving, and freezing cold because we were coming back from Hawaii. We were trying to think of what sounded good and filling and hearty. Nothing sounded better than the chicken and beer dumplings from Mike’s. We quickly jumped in the car, arrived, was seated quickly, and had a wonderful warming meal. The wait staff was great as usual. Our Waittress even remembered that we were just returning from our honeymoon. This is one of my favorite places, and their Chicken and Beer Dumplings is my favorite dish. Everything I have ever tried there has been great though. It’s tucked away down by Show Me’s, so unless you are looking for it you won’t find it.

The service was good, the food was average. I had the fish and chips. The fish fell out of the batter when I tried to dip it on the small tartar sauce cup. I did like that there was large pieces of pickle in the tartar sauce. The coleslaw was not mayonnaise based, which I prefer.

Great service, an excellent knowledgable bartender and a fun atmosphere. Had the southwest salad, it was tasty but pretty spicy. Perhaps a warning on the menu? Delicious margaritas! Will definitely be back

I have never been disappointed in the food. The Asian burger is one for the books. Great selection of beers to choose from. Only flaw: more seating

Excellent food, service and variety of BEER! My SO and I started with a couple of O’Fallon Vanilla Pumpkin that were great and I had the rellenos and she had the chicken and dumplings. Both were very good(I probably could have eaten another chile!). For only the bartender being there for service, service was quite excellent, my props to him. We will definitely be back.

Place was super good. The food was awesome; the beer dip with the chips and then I had the three pigs sandwich. Yummy! The beer selection was soooo good. I loved mikes, wish I could come here all the time.

Being new to the area we were looking for delicious food and great craft beers. Bingo!!! We have been here 3 times and EVERY time the food, beer and service has been nothing but enjoyable. Short rib sliders, Santa Fe salad and portobella mushroom sandwich were all winners for me.

Once again mikes doesn’t disappoint me. Had the fish and chips. Amazing is what I have to say for it. Batter is made from angry Irish wife. Excellent beer by the way. The nachos Roma’s is by far one of the best nachos I’ve had. Would have put picture with this but didn’t want to be distracted. Actually I just forgot. I have yet to be let down from mikes.

Unfortunately, we found Mike’s to be overpriced and not worth the money. We did not care for the cheese on the pretzel appetizer. The relleno’s were just ok but cost $ 17 for a small portion(Putting a small portion on a huge plate does not make the small portion any larger). The relleno’s had a decent taste but they were watery when you cut into them. The sauce and fries were good. Our kids got a simple grilled cheese and it was probably the worst thing we had on the table. My wife got the Mike’s Burger. It was by far the best dish we had. Unfortunately, it will not be enough to bring us back.

My wife and I came here for the first time in the fall and I had the black and blue burger. Not something one should eat often but it was as delicious as described. I found the beer selection much to my liking. Went back about three weeks and had the three pigs. Not so good. The pork tasted like it was past it’s prime and the bacon wasn’t even noticeable if you can imagine that. Both items are listed as ‘house specialties’ so there’s no excuse for not getting it right every time. Nevertheless, we’ll be back-probably just not as soon as we would otherwise.
