Been coming regularly now for 6 months! I Lovvveeee Tulip! Everyone here is nice, professional and I’ve always been happy with my experience! I get fairly trendy gel nails and pedi’s every two weeks! I’m extremely rough on my nails. I’m a stylist and makeup artist so my nails need to hold up! Tyler is my Fave… He makes it look easy when I often have a disaster to work with! They always look beautiful… And his personality is wonderful! Working in this industry myself I understand the labor involved and Tulip goes above and beyond the average!

I absolutely LOVE Tulip Nails. Where else can you find a quality salon open on Sundays?
The staff is extremely accommodating and very professional. The salon is immuculate. All tools are kept sanitized b4 the next customer. I have recommended this salon to my daughter and cousin. They are both regular customers now.
I’ve even convinced my husband to get a mani/​pedi b4 our upcoming vacation. We all have appts on ⁶⁄₂₈.
A special shout out to Miriam! I just love her and try to get all appts with her. I have a funny big toenail on my right foot and when Miriam is done, I have beautiful toes and no one can tell that I have a weird nail.

OK so the last time I was on Unilocal,I gave this nail place a 1 star rating :(It was unfortunate for me to do that and it was unfortunate for me to have recieved a poor/​bad service from one of the reps over there :(Anyways I’m back here to update my review and give them a 5 Star. All thanks to Eric, who responded like a responsible manager and reached out to me regarding my bad experience. He offered to redo my nails at no charge and I must say, I was very pleased and satisfied with my wonderful nails service by him and I was more than happy to give him a generous tip :) So next time I go there or any of you go there, make sure you see Eric for a good nail spa experience :) Thank you Eric :)

my nails are now turning black from the earlier whitish fungus i got from this place.
at all costs run —- do not go there. needs to be shut down.

Tulip nails is full of friendly staff and always welcoming. They do a great job; one time my nail chipped and they fixed it for me no question. Very pleased.

This is hands down my favorite place to get my nails, toes and eyebrows done. It’s classy yet fast and filled with wonderful service. Jenny and Tyler are hands down my best kept secret and Yen does an amazing pedicure to keep you coming back for years to come. Their salon is clean, and comfortable. The pedicure chairs are set in the back and you never feel on display. You’re always greeted with a smile and top notch service. I’m nervous about writing such a high review because I do not want everyone flocking… but I highly recommend!!!

Tulip Nails is the best around town! The salon has a cozy atmosphere with a great selection of service as well as perfect customer service. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and personable which makes the experience all that better. I highly recommend Tulip!

First time visiting .I requested a cute rainbow design for my upcoming trip. The guy who did my nails was very detailed and patient. Overall he did a great job and I would come back again.

Eric is the manager and can do nails the best however he only does them by request. Tyler and the lady who sits next to him are awesome as well. This is a great nail shop that does quality work every time no matter who gives you service though.

Any time you walk in this salon there is almost always someone to take care of you. With or without an appointment. Always efficient and friendly. When you have an appointment they have always been in time for me Nice place to relax and unwind

I came here again a month or two ago and they did an excellent job this time. My manicurist filed my nails perfectly and none of my nails had bubbles in them. They were very smooth and well painted. The price was the same. I wish they had more nude colors but they did have a decent selection. I will definitely be coming back here and asking for the lady I had before.

First time customer of this establishment. Called to see if they were busy today and stated I could come in right away. Got there and the place was nicely set up. I had a shellac mani for $ 30. I’m not sure of nail techs name but she was awesome! Very gentle & precise with my nails. She did the usual massage (however the gand massage was just rubbing lotion on my hands, not really a massage), however, at the end she added a sea salt scrub for free. I would definitely re-​visit this place again to try other services and to see if service is consistent.

I’ve been to a lot of nail salons, like A LOT. Probably almost 100.
This is one of the best I’ve been to.
The décor is tasteful. The salon is divided into sections which is more relaxing than the salons with one big room and bright florescent lights.
The nail techs are foreign but their English was good and they had no problem understanding me. The tech I saw 3 weeks earlier even recognized me and asked how I was doing. I never felt rushed.
And the best thing– for those who think this means the prices are higher than a cheapo salon, they really aren’t! I had a pedicure, shellac manicure, and eyebrow wax for $ 68 total.
Also they take appointments and actually honor them. Definitely recommend it!

Wonderful clean place to get your nails done. Great selection of colors for shellac and regular nail polish. Very relaxing! Would definitely return again.

I went in here based on a recommendation from a friend of mine, and my normal go to nail place was closed this day. I had a shellac manicure and it stayed on for 2+ weeks, the techs were very friendly and the environment is incredibly calming. The first time I stopped in it was a particularly stressful day, however after my manicure, I was so much less stressed out! It was a very relaxing environment.
The second time I stopped in was on a weekend to get a pedicure with a girlfriend of mine, and it was incredibly busy (probably because they are so great!!) so we made an appointment for 30 minutes later and came back. I had the classic pedicure and it was wonderful, again incredibly relaxing and they truly took their time with each step making sure I felt comfortable, and was happy with color as well. Which quite frankly unless you are going to go to a salon and spa and pay upwards toward $ 70 you are not going to find people who take the time to make you comfortable and be sure you are pleased with your service.
There are many nail places in Novi, however considering I have grown up here and tried out many of them, I would really only recommend Tulip and K&T nails.
If you are in a hurry I would call ahead to make sure they can take you right away, especially on a weekend!

I came here a couple of time in the past.
I did get my pedicure done today.
I liked about the clean and cozy chairs.
Customer service is all depended on the person.
I would say if I come back often then they may treat me nicer.
Also comparing My country, the design ability is still poor.
But over all I did satisfied the place.

Well I moved to the area and I figured I would give this place another shot since it was mostly the nail tech that I had an issue with. I’ve been a few times and after today’s experience, I will not be returning.
On the weekends, they are super busy because they are one of the only nail salons open. So it can be an hour wait for a simple service. So I figured come back during the week, nope, they hardly have any staff so you’re still stuck waiting for an hour. I don’t mind waiting but they tell you «oh, it’ll be a few minutes, just relax». An hour is way longer than a few minutes.
They do a good job but the lady today was so rough, I was literally white knuckled the whole time. My feet were soggy from being in the water for a long time and she used the really rough side of the pumice stone which was totally unnecessary. She took a chunk out of my skin with clippers too. Then the lotion she used was not the normal lotion, it was insane menthol and then she put scalding hot towels on my legs which just made it worse. It’s just not relaxing and for the prices they charge, no thanks. I’ll be going elsewhere.

Cute place. They do a good job and seem clean. Love that they pulled tools from sterilizing unit and from plastic. Was a little annoyed that we made an appoint on Friday evening, made plans around said appointment then got a call in the middle of our beforehand plans, from the place, bugging us to come earlier. When we said we were in the middle of a meal, she kept bugging and trying to negotiate us to come sooner. Pretty inconsiderate.
Won’t be back but that was just our experience. Fine place if you can just be a walk in or have all the time in the world to be at their disposal.

I have kind of bad luck here. For some reason I always end up messing up a nail and needing a redo. Sigh.
The atmosphere is nice. The service is good and very friendly. Scheduling is not happiness. I scheduled a side by side deal with my sister (who I never get to see) and they tried to start her services a good twenty minutes before mine. Fail. When they got the hint I was pissy about it they did try to rectify it in a hurry. My annoyance was quickly quashed.
If you are swinging by for a little time to yourself and are looking for good work you will be just fine. I had a birthday mani/​pedi that was pretty much flawless and relaxing. If you are looking to have a sister’s day out with no hiccups, I’d look elsewhere though.
I do like the cheap shellac manicure here and the middle selection pedis. I wish there was a bigger OPI selection for the shellac but they have an amazing selection of regular polishes for the the toes. Overall though it’s a bit of a step up from a cheapie nail place and not too much more in price.
