For a hotel lounge… amazing. Happy hour from 7 – 9 with $ 3 draft(including premium), $ 3 craft beer, and $ 3 off signature cocktails! I was able to give the bartender a 100% tip for the first time in my life! Feelin’ like Jay Z, jigga what!

Came here for Bloody Mary’s while waiting for my room, and had such an amazing time. Stephen H was an amazing bartender, and made a mean Bloody Mary. I didn’t have the chance to try the food but the customer service definitely deserves 5 stars.

Good breakfast. I had the $ 14 all American breakfast. It came with 2 eggs(over easy), bacon, hash browns, toast, juice, and coffee. Great meal for the price. The service was fantastic. Fast, efficient, and pleasant.

Wait staff is ultra friendly and the drinks are strong, which is good, because the food leaves something to be desired. Fiancé got the Gumbo and I got the Peacekeeper sandwich. They were… okay at best. Definitely not worth the $ 18 price tag for each of them. We were more satisfied with the seafood restaurant in the Outlet Centers across the street. This is also the same restaurant that provides Room Service for the Marriott Convention Center, so keep that in mind when ordering from the room.

I stayed at the Marriott Convention Center for business, and the first day we got down here, I grabbed the crab-cake appetizer and a couple cold beers. It was a good crab cake, but nothing to write home about. The cocktails, while overpriced, are somewhat decent, you just have to make sure you get a bartender who knows what they are doing.

We we’re staying in the hotel for the oyster festival and decided to go down for a few drinks before going to dinner. All five of us commented that our drinks we’re either weak ore just watery. 8.75 for a terrible gin and tonic. Never agAin.

The only thing worse than the food here is the service. Cafeteria food at fine dining prices. I ate here 6 times this week. Cold fries with like warm burgers, plain salad with no croutons or dressing, on and on… I did eat for free once though because they charged someone else’s credit card for my meal and I signed the receipt without looking closely! Freebie??? If you don’t mind poor food and even poorer service then this is the place for you!

Okay, so the whole below-your-hotel-room makes this place a convenient choice. We came here for breakfast again before we flew out. Once again, we were well-tended by people, and the coffee was hot. Our food was good once it came. It took… awhile to come out of the kitchen. What they did for us, though, when they realized it was going to be a bit to come out, was good customer service. They brought us some of their buttery, rich grits to share and made sure we were well stocked with coffee and orange juice, and before the food arrived, comped our breakfast. They asked if they could get us anything else, even, once the pancakes and the skillet(sans Andouille — sorry, I’m a dirty vegetarian) arrived.

The food is excellent! I’m staying in the Warehouse District and I’ve eaten here several times now. The blackened catfish with grits is truly delicious. But if you want the real deal, check out the mahi with greens and potatoes. The prices are very reasonable at $ 20 to $ 30 per plate. The service isn’t extraordinary. But I’m here for the food and it hasn’t yet disappointed.

Let me preface this review by saying that the food truly was excellent! I was visiting New Orleans on business for a large conference at the convention center across the street, and craving a Shrimp PoBoy… OMG delish! Now…for the one star review… the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced! We were seated and our waiter came over and said hello and filled our water and walked away… I saw him standing around talking to a female server off in the corner…25 minutes later, no one had come by our table. no drink order, food etc. We finally grabbed the manager as he was walking by and asked to put in an order. STILL our actual waiter did not come by for 15 more minutes. Then 15 minutes later, the manager comes up and says«I don’t know what happened, but somehow your ticket got lost and wasn’t entered(and my favorite part) ‘but it wasn’t my fault, I promise’» We asked him for our check then because we were in a rush to get back to our conference(and we had now been there for over an hour) we paid our check and STILL had not gotten our food. When we finally did, the food was great. I would have loved to have enjoyed it instead of rushing through it. No one came by to check on us, or apologize for the mistake. Frankly, if a restaurant forgets to put in an order for 50 minutes especially when it’s the manager… they should comp the meal. That was absolutely ridiculous. I stopped to talk to the manager on our way out and let him know our frustration and explain why there was no tip left. he replied«sorry we missed the mark». Never again will I go back there, which is sad because they had some amazing crawfish mac n’ cheese and crabcakes with fried green tomatoes.

We stayed at Marriott this restaurant was located in and didn’t have time to go anywhere else for lunch before our flight. It was exactly lunch time and there was maybe two or three other tables in the place. Our waitress was very attentive and we didn’t go once with empty drinks. I found the food to be a little overpriced, but it was good. I had the BBQ shrimp which was my favorite, and the gumbo, which was good. My husband said his po boy wasn’t the best but it was decent. Overall, I don’t think I liked it enough to actually plan a trip back, but if I stay in the hotel again and need a quick bite, I would gladly return.

I’ll start off by echoing what I see is the comment complaint here: the service sucks. There were all of two tables with three customers in the restaurant, and basic requests were not fulfilled(no water refill, took a while to get a check, had to ask twice for a box). The food was pretty good. We had the coolinary lunch special, which wasn’t that great of a deal($ 1-$ 3 off of regular menu prices for the same iteams). But the two course for $ 20 did encourage me to try an app that I might not normally have gotten for a lunch(crawfish cheesecake), and I had enough food for another lunch the next day. The crawfish cheesecake was OK — my friend’s mac and cheese app was much better, and huge, while the cheesecake was dinky. My entrée was a po boy, cochon de lait topped with slaw. The slaw was not mayo-based, and the po boy was not so traditional tasting. But it was very good. The bread was nice and crispy, the pork was tender and tasty, and the slaw added just enough crunch and snap to the sandwich. The place is a little hard to find, due to a misplaced sign(at Fulton and Julia) far from the entrance(near Fulton and St. Joseph). It’s in the Mariott, on the Fulton St. side, though the address comes up as on Convention Center Blvd. You can get to it from Con Center by passing through the hotel, but it’s a little more convenient to enter off Fulton if you are walking from the Warehouse District.

This place had horrible customer service with excellent food. What a shame. We had a party of five and the young lady was obviously not accustomed to being a waitress. It doesn’t stop there. The manager doesn’t really step in and diffused it. I won’t be back. That’s sad cuz the gumbo was awesome.

I have to give this restaurant 2-stars for great location across the convention center but there are many reasons why it does not beyond that. It could be due to the large crowd from CTIA that affected the service but the overall experience for business lunch and breakfast was below our expectations. During lunch the service is very slow and expect long wait for order and food service. For party of 5, they will charge 20% service charge without even asking. I had the Shrimp PoBoy which was a little greasy. During our breakfast meeting, they told us to wrap our discussion since they are long lines waiting for tables which upset the client and shorten our discussion. Don’t expect good quality food for the high price.

Came here twice during my trip to New Orleans. The first experience here was late on a Friday night. We ordered from the bar menu. I had the Warehouse burger with fries. The burger was just okay. The fries were pretty good — salted with salt and pepper in just the right amounts. During my second experience in a big party of work colleagues, the experience was pretty good. This time we ordered from the dinner menu. The server brought out truffle chips which were very very good. We started with crab cakes(good) and the barbecued gulf shrimp which were excellent. I ordered the seared yellow fin tuna salad which was good(unfortunately the server didn’t bring me a knife so it was difficult to eat the large greens). I ordered the grilled dry rub ribeye along with a few others at the table. I asked for mine to be prepared medium rare however it came out medium… I didn’t complain and just ate all the juicier, fattier pieces of my steak. For dessert, I ordered the vanilla bean cheesecake which was pretty good. Overall, the 2 dining experiences were pretty good. Since I was staying at the Marriott, room service breakfast was also prepared from Wolfe’s kitchen. These dishes were not prepared as well but that may be due to the fact that they were delivered to the room well after they were prepared which isn’t the restaurant’s fault.

I came here for a lunch meeting and let’s just say I have had better. I hate to compartmentalize places but this is a fairly typical, bad/middle of the road, hotel restaurant experience. The lemons in my water were rotten, yes rotten and slimy(no thanks) the food was bland and something equivalent to a hospital cafeteria. Service was slow and inattentive. I knew something was up when on a busy mid day lunch time when places are normally busting at the seams, it was empty and we were the only ones in there. I will not be returning.

Breakfast at Wolf’s was a disappointment. The service left a lot to be desired. For example the person taking care of our table forgot about bringing us coffee. After about 15 minutes they admitted they totally forgot. Another example of forgetfulness came when the«cooked to order omelette came without one of the ingredients. We did order a waffle, the first one that was served was over cooked so we asked for another. The replacement waffle was over cooked as well. For the $ 18.99 that is charged for breakfast, one would be better off going just about any place else.

The person who seated us was pleasant and friendly. We were seated promptly as well. However, the staff taking our order clearly would have been happier doing something else. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. Others who had been seated after us were being served their food long before we ever got ours. It took 45 minutes to get our meals. I had a simple ceasar salad and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were good but not exceptional. The ceasar salad was at best mediocre. After 3 nights of great food in other establishments, we were disappointed with our choice of Wolfe’s.
