I really like this Wing Snack. Whats more is I like what it represents. Small business growth & evolution. This was my first trip to this location. I’ve been going to the North Claiborne location for years but they are now permanently closed so I gave this location a go. What I took away from this visit was that this location is a much cleaner, faster, more professional representation of their product. Good for them. It’s an overall upgraded presentation. It starts with the vast parking lot. At the old location there was only on street parking and extremely limited at that. They’ve also upgraded the store front appeal of the business by adding an eye catching promotion decorated exterior and a bright Wing Snack Express sign. The old location was very easy to miss. The interior boasts a modest but comfortable indoor seating area that has air conditioning, offers free WiFi and has 2 wall mounted flat screen TVs for entertainment. The food is what I expected, good wings & fries. I shorted them 2 stars for one reason and one reason only. Service. Sadly the same old blunt, short, negative customer service is readily available here much to my disappointment. I advise everyone to just call ahead and pick up your food rather than enjoy all of the new upgrades.

The food is ok, the owners did not provide good customer service. When I mentioned my disappointment with my order she became very rude and unwilling to fix it. Haven’t gone back since.

I like that there are many options here. I do not like the Ghetto Punch title. Seriously?! Either way, my wings were tough and unevenly cooked. Hush puppies were dry and hard. The fries were ok. The inside looks like a prison office desk area/courthouse cashier. They protect thems behind this glass(which is pto bullet proof) they seem to want the money from the townsfold but not the trouble. I guess I cant be angry at that. This is the south so I’m sure people are use to this treatment and I think many will end up liking the food.

I’ve eaten a lot of wings over the years from a lot of different places. These guys have really good wings, they let you mix the flavors up too since I like a Hot and Spicy Garlic Parmesan I order them like that and sure enough that’s how they come out. Their drink selection is pretty good, although a little pricey, but since I don’t eat there that often it’s worth getting a gallon of the ghetto punch or my favorite the Pineapple Lemonade. The fries could be better, I think the trip home causes them to soak up the sauce too much so they aren’t as crisp as I’d like. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Don’t be afraid of the shatter resistant glass.

They have«Ghetto Punch»(AKA Red Drank) what more can you ask? 17 flavors of wings, crab cakes, chicken tenders, fish strips and crawfish balls. Where else in the world but New Orleans would you find such a place? Let me tell ya: NOWHERE! Go Ghetto on the Wank and go to Wing Snack Express!
