Nola Gumbo

Delivery was fast! Thank god something finally delivers to the Point besides Chinese food.
Lemonade was absolutely perfect.
Gumbo was my fav kind — super thin! — like a soup. They give you more than enough rice which is good because I know some people prefer more than others. It actually was just like my mawmaw makes it, but they could stand to add a few shrimp in there along with the sausage and crab pieces. Coulda used some Tony’s and hot sauce but it does come w salt and pepper packets. Same goes for the red beans and rice (consistency and seasoning-​wise).
The cookies were just ok. If you warm them up they’re pretty good.
They sent the lemonade, gumbo and beans in mason jars. I thought it was super cute and cool but, as a former service industry manager, they will save so much money if they discontinue this (or maybe just offer the jars as an up-​sell).
