Go in on the Poydras Street entrance. Metal detectors with lots of US Marshals, so be smart.
That’s a choke point, so if you are there for a big trial, get there early.
Otherwise, a tiny starbucks in the lobby by the Gents, nice courtrooms, plenty of benches. OK for a US Courthouse.

I understand that our courts are overwhelmed with huge backlogs and people waiting for years for their case to be heard. Many judges appear to the general public to be largely influenced by current political pressures. In the important case before this court concerning the resolution of issues related to President Obama’s policy on immigration this appears to be the case. While constitutional considerations require careful deliberation in this case the welfare of millions of families and children hang in the balance. Shame on you, 5th circuit court of appeals. You let the whole country down with your lollygagging.
